Came here after seeing the billboards. EZ on- EZ off. Good food. Prices are right. What sets this place apart from others is the staff. The staff is very friendly. I was sitting at the counter and they had the either counter laughing during lunch. Owner passed by a few times smiling and saying hi to all the customers. This place is a great stand-by. It's a typical diner, nothing fancy but it's quality. I like going here for breakfast, it's affordable and you get a good bang for your buck! Don't eat here. The water in the water glass smelled of sulfur. We stopped off for a quick bite after being out of town. We got the all day breakfast which was ok. We also got pancakes. How can you screw up pancakes? They were awful. Salty. And the syrup tasted like it was watered down or sugar free. The waitress fled after she served us. I can see why. read more

Been here a couple of times, vowed never to come back after the most disgusting breakfast in my life last time I was here, unfortunately I was riding with someone who insisted on going there. First they brought me a cup of lukewarm broccoli soup that tasted like pudding, I sent it back. Lukewarm coffee, even after I complained that the coffee was not hot and they brought me another one it's still wasn't even warm, and it really didn't matter since they didn't bring me another refill after that. Then I ordered the Angus burger because I had had the regular burger one time before and it was disgusting, since the Angus burgers come out of the box from Sysco or wherever I figured they couldn't be too easy to screw up. Boy was I wrong. Burger was like cardboard. Ordered half pound Angus burger, with cheese, with bacon, with lettuce, with tomato. Bacon was nasty, cheese was nasty, burger was nasty, barely any wilted lettuce. Lukewarm. Total garbage. I didn't dare send it back or the Mexicans in the kitchen would have spit on it, and I was so hungry I would've eaten the cardboard anyway. I go to the register on the way out, I wasn't going to say anything, it was the owner, he asked me if everything was OK, I said excuse me, he said was everything OK? I told him no it was absolutely terrible, he asks what's wrong with it, I told him exactly what I said in this review. He says, oh, OK. No discount on the $23 burger or anything I have had enough, I am tapping out on this place, I will never return to one of the nastiest diners I have ever been to in my whole entire life. Ripped the chairs in the back room, terrible food, you can't make this stuff up, I have no idea why anybody would even stop here if it wasn't the only restaurant in Bloomingburg. I definitely feel like I am going to throw up, and that's probably a good thing because I'll have room for a decent meal after I do. Owner contacted me in response to this review, said they can't even keep up with the coffee on Sundays, I guess that was supposed to explain why I only got one cop the whole time I was there. He said the broccoli soup was made on premises and people travel from Monticello to take it home with them, I guess that's why it was so cold, because he thought I was taking that cup back to Monticello to warm it up. He said the Angus burgers were ground and made on premises, which to me explains why, like the desert which is also made there, it was so terrible. He said they've been there 30 years, maybe 30 years ago it was better, but even likely will not continue another 30 years trying to rely on his past reputation When the guy at the register asked me if everything was OK? And I explained to him in detail how bad it was, had he said anything other then "oh, OK" I may have just chalked the place up as being another crappy diner, never went back, and never bothered to write this review. But I was so taken aback by his blasé attitude about how terrible this meal was that I figured I had to warn everyone to stay away from this place. read more

Great diner food at reasonable prices. Waitress knew to ask if I wanted raw or fried onions on my burger, which was delicious. Fries with (homemade) gravy were just right, and my son's mac and cheese was home made. Waitress was attentive and patient, even when my son was a bit of a nuisance and called her back on her way to the kitchen. This is a longstanding diner with dedicated owners and staff. While I was there for lunch today, I have been there for breakfast as well on many occasions and have always been happy with the eggs and coffee. read more

Got food to go and asked for ketchup in a cup and the guy refused. He would only give me packet ketchup which i hate. Don't know what the big deal of giving me ketchup in a cup is since they give honey mustard and BBQ in one. Poor customer service. Food was alright. read more

When I first moved here I went to the Quikway a lot. No more. Occasionally I get a coffee there because the coffee is great. Let us start with breakfast. The grill is turned way too hip ugh. To get your eggs with brown on them, not good. Turn the grill down. Their turkey platter? The turkey is stringy like they sliced it wrong. The gravy....I am not sure what it is supposed to be. It has a tang to it. Shouldn't have a tang. Their fried fish sandwich is fishy! The meatloaf is so dense....it should not be dense like a brick. I think they either have new cooks than from 8 years ago or something. I don't eat here any longer. Shame. read more

As far as diners go, this place is top-notch! It has been around forever, and my friends and I decided to check it out while in Bloomingburg for our camp reunion. It had been 15+ years since some of us visited Quickway, and it STILL ROCKS. The menu is huge, all the food is good (especially the cheese fries!), and the waitresses are amazing and even a little sassy (see if you can go there when Terri is on shift). I mean, when all is said and done, it's just a diner. Don't go in expecting a gourmet meal in a super romantic environment or anything. For what it is, it's awesome. read more

Its Sunday at 1130 I have company down from Rhode island and wanted to get something to eat. We looked on the website and it says you are open 24 hours it took us 30 min from otisville NY to get there to find that you were closed when your website says open 24 hours on a Sunday. I was a little leery of going to this diner with my mom based on some of the previous yelp reviews. However, thankfully we still went based on my mothers recommendation that we go to this diner. As it is one of the last remaining old style diners in the area. As a child I grew up in New York City and spent my summers and nearly every weekend in the Town of Mamakating area. I had an excellent late saturday lunch this weekend at the Quickway Diner. I had the eggplant sandwich with french fries. It was a nice large club sandwich with generous eggplant, tomato sauce and melted mozzarella cheese bursting at the seams. The french fries were hot but not burning. Just right temperature and seasoned slightly with salt. Thankfully not too much salt like most other places. I also had a cup of coffee... Actually I was given a refill without having to ask.... Was also offered another refill but declined as I did not want to get to wired on coffee for the day. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. In response to a previous yelper review. I enjoyed the authentic old style diner feel in the front. The newer touches I can care less about. Will definitely return in the future. Although, it might be awhile as I am hardly in the area now. read more

I went here for dinner tonight craving pot roast. We went at about 7:45 pm so it was past the dinner hour. It was very quiet and we were seated immediately. Our server immediately brought our drinks. I am a very fussy water drinker and it's obvious that they serve tap water and I suspect that the water is not the greatest quality (I know because of the lengths that I had gone through with my well water to eliminate suffer from the water). It had a "taste" that carried over into the ice. But it wasn't chlorine saturated so you decide. We were then served our salad and that was nice and fresh. I ordered the pot roast and my husband ordered the roast turkey dinner. The vegetable choices were very limited (peas or carrots). That was disappointing. My husband was very happy with his turkey. Unfortunately the pot roast was not as good. The meat was served over a very generous bed of buttered noodles. The meat was unlike any pot roast I've ever had. It tasted like very thinly shaved roast beef with a mediocre brown gravy over top. I would not ordered it again. The interior was dated but it had a small country diner ambiance. All in all, good service, dated decor and I'm sure, judging by my husband's food that there are many tasty items on the menu. I'm not sure if we're going to be in a hurry to return. read more

This place is absolutely not what the commercial portrays. The food was the average diner food nothing special about it. The place was not as clean as was displayed in the commercial. There were flies flying around and the young lady that waited our table was unprofessional. The water was horrible it taste like it came out of a rusty pipe. Ate there last night.. I ordered their stuffed chicken breast in pastry special and it was hard and dry. Was going to take rest home and decided to leave it at the cash register so the cook could taste how horrid it was. My husband ordered the BBQ ribs, they were black in color and when he bit into them they were burnt and inedible. The sauce was sickly sweet from sitting around. The water was disgusting - they could get restaurant bottled water to serve instead of the swill. Used to be good - ate there all the time - but wont be back. YUK!! read more

First of all, please learn how to take feedback. It would do wonders for your business. Feedback is a good thing, accept it and take action! I normally do not write reviews but felt compelled to write one because of the poor attitude when I provided feedback. No apology! Was told that from what he saw on the cameras we had been in the restaurant for 37 minutes - really you went there!! If you check your cameras probably the last five minutes were spent eating which was quick because the food was not good. So that would mean we waited quite a bit to be served do the math! Anyway, I'm customer take the feedback and act on it! This was my family's first time visiting your diner and it was a not a good experience. We waited for our food quite a bit we watched tables around us being served who came in and ordered after us. Not once did the waitress come to check on us or to tell us there will be a delay. When we finally got our food the pancakes were not good. My daughter ordered chocolate chips and banana pancakes and they created some sort of sandwich with the chocolate chips and bananas put in between. Really!! The Chicken Florentine omelette was undercooked which was the cause of the delay because they were supposedly cooking the chicken but I guess forgot to make sure the eggs were cooked. Diners please beware; I'm sincere in my review. From now on I'll stick with the Cup and Saucer Diner in Pine Bush. read more

Terrible service, boring food. Went there on a day adventure w/ my fiance'. I happen to be a person of color and he is caucasian. It's 2014 and I've been alive long enough to recognize racism when I see it. We walked in and had to seat ourselves and were not greeted at all. There were 2 people at the counter paying for food to leave and everyone pretended we didn't exist. My fiance' ordered a white russian and the bartender didn't even know how to make one. If you offer a full bar, know basic drinks! I ordered a chicken, mozzarella, eggplant sandwich on a club roll. The food was piled in the middle of the day-old roll (it could have been cut to fit). I had to cut the food myself so that I could eat like a civilized person. It was also a very bland sandwich. How do you mess up something that sounds so delicious? I also ordered just the sandwich, priced at around $8 since the addition of fries was a lot and I knew I couldn't eat that much food. I was charged $14 which is the price for the deluxe with fries. When we called this to the waitress' attention, she insisted that that was in fact the standalone sandwich price. We decided to just let it go and never go back. read more
