The Quickway Diner's breakfast in a bowl is terrific. I just had it for the first time a few days ago, as my husband and I were heading up to the Woodstock Museum. It was perfect for lunch or anytime. The breakfast bowl has home fries, luncheon meat of choice, scrambled eggs and melted cheddar cheese on top, all in a bowl. It was delicious and I would eat it again when I visit upstate new york. The food is great and the prices reasonable. Everyone was friendly and Teek was kind enough to send me via mail, my favorite jacket that I accidently left behind my chair when I left the diner. Thanks Teek and everyone else at the Quickway. One of my favorite places for stopping for a quick bite to eat, a full meal, or just a cup of that delicious coffee. Service is always great. waitresses always have a smile on their face, and a great family atmosphere. Food is delicious, never had a bad meal there. I came here for waffles with my sister. The waitress started off by explaining how we shouldn't order the waffles because they are made in the morning and then put in the fridge and nuked in the microwave all day. So for some reason they make pancakes fresh for us so we order chocolate chip pancakes and home fries. We also ordered sausage and bacon which neither were finished. The pancakes were so greasy when you cut into them you can see the grease coming out onto your knife. The hashbrowns had no flavor at all. And when we asked for milkshakes the machine was broken. We stop here before every concert at Bethel! Good diner food and really friendly staff! One of the owners are usually there, cooking and greeting patrons. The lunch specials said one price and we were charged a more expensive price at the cash register. The food was o.k. At best but when you are hungry and have been on the road for a few hours I guess it would suffice. Just had lunch. Service was really nice. Food was great. At the end of the meal we experienced the horror of having a roach crawl along the table as we sat there. I tried to kill it but it flew at me and I brushed it off my clothing and on to the floor. We didn't want to make a scene out of respect for the establishment but after we told the cashier about it, she and several of the other waitresses ganged up on us and denied it and basically told us we were wrong. I work in a restaurant, I've seen cockroaches, and it was a cockroach. They did nothing to discount our bill or compensate us, just continually exclaimed how ridiculous it was that we said we had seen a cockroach. It was incredibly disrespectful. Never again. read more

Been sitting in this diner since 10pm and it is now 10:40pm and haven't been able to get waitress' attention. Soda is flat and has an after taste like diet. Had to get up from my seat and flag another waitress down to exchange the soda. While the second waitress did try and help new sodas were just as bad. It is now 10:50 and still no waitress. It should not take almost an hour to make a hamburger, a fried egg, a pastrami sandwich and chicken fingers. Tables who came in 30 minutes after us have been served.!" Waitress finally found 12 seconds to say three words to me but didn't pause long enough for me to ask her to take away these putrid sodas and request water. Was open on the outage so we ordered the teriyaki burger which was exactly what i envisioned eating a classic spiced up with flavor . The chicken wings were OK i like them crunchy with no fat so i didn't really per say enjoy them but the boneless wings and the seasoned Fry's are awesome read more

Open 24 hours! I feel that is a baseline requirement for diners. Other than that I was not really wowed by this place. We stopped here for a pie and coffee break on our long 6+ hour drive home from my parent's house. The pie and coffee were ok. I've eaten here several times because I live in Bloomingburg and it's close. The breakfast is pretty much the only good thing they serve, everything else is "eh". Edible and suitable in a pinch, but I don't go unless there aren't any options left. Try the Cup and Saucer instead, much better diner food. read more

Go there often, I am a pain in the ass on how my food is cooked and they get it right unlike most other restaurants. Waitresses are nice ladies, late night drunks often frequent place though after midnight. Prices are fair. read more

Went to Quickway Diner for Dinner on Thursday 11/17/2016 and must commend them on the very fresh food, tastefully prepared and the excellent service. The location is on Exit 116 off Route 17 and the trip there, 25 miles away, was indeed worthwhile. We strongly recommend this restaurant when you are on In Bloomingburg, Orange county. read more
