I finally found a great uber eats location. My shrimp bento box was huge and delicious. I also tried the shrimp tempura and crazy crab; both were really good and fresh. Don't expect nobu quality sushi but for a neighborhood sushi & hibachi grill, this place is it.

Chicken, beef, & shrimp w/ fried rice and veggies. A lot of food!

I'm just realizing that I've never left a review for Quickway. We've been coming here for quite some time. For starters the food is good. It's a quick Asian meal that you don't have to worry about the legitimacy of the meat and they keep it clean. Their rolls and sides are really good considering that this is fast-food restaurant. The only reason I took a star off is because they have the common attitude of an Asian carryout. I'm not stereotyping or being racist I'm just stating the facts. Like I said, we've been coming here for awhile, well over a year, maybe 2. The Asian woman who always works the register seems to never be in a good mood and acts like you're bothering her. No smile, no happiness in her voice, impatient. She's never rude, just seems like she doesn't want to be bothered. The cooks are cool, they could stand to slow down a little when taking direction. I've never had an issue with my food other than the fact that when they're standing there with my plate asking do I want sauce, I tell them only on my noddles and meat, they instead spread it on my vegetables which I really don't like, this happens a lot which is another reason why I don't come here a lot. So like I said they could use a class or two in brushing up on their customer service skills. Honestly, I love great customer service. So just keeping it real I sometimes drive over to their competition to get better service, which is less than 10 minutes away and they have great coupons.

Ordered the Bento Beef box and side order of shrimp tempura on a Friday night and was very disappointed. They jam packed my box with rice and put less than 2oz of beef and forgot my shrimp tempura. The taste was bland and not worth the money.

Pitiful portion size..and no, I didn't eat any before taking this picture

Looking at all the pictures I expected to get the same amount as everyone else, especially with paying $9. No, it looks like they were scared to put anything on my tray. I could have gone to panda Express and paid less, and gotten way more.

Much more pleasant than the Forestville location, food & customer service were definitely better.

You know, I almost deducted a star for the silly name. Quickway? Really?.. this is a Japanese Hibachi spot so please change the name for your own credibility!! LOL. Now that I've finished venting, lets get to it. This has become my FAVORITE work lunch spot by far. Not only is it less than 10 minutes from the JOB, but man is the food good..YUMMMMMY!!! The food is definitely Hibachi, prepared right before your eyes. My absolute favorite dish is the Chicken and Shrimp Bento box which includes 4 pieces of sushi (California Roll), 2 chicken dumplings, 2 spring rolls, veggies and of course delicious Hibachi with fried rice. This meal is HUGE and more than enough for two people! I have also had the Salmon Bento box which is just as delicious. The sweetest part is the price. You get all of this for less than $10! In addition to the Bento boxes, I've had their sushi which will rival any sushi spot in the area! They do have decent seating if you can't wait to stuff your mouth at home! LOL!! So ignore the name, this is authentic Hibachi cuisine without the frills. Ask Veronica R, she'll vouch for everything I've said... She's hooked too!!! LOL

This place has quickly become a go-to spot for me and other coworkers. Their bento boxes are around $10 and regular hibachi are around $7. You get a TON of food, and it's very delicious! The bento boxes come with two dumplings, four pieces of California roll, two spring rolls, veggies, and rice or noodles. I will say, avoid the beef option. It's not steak and it just tastes kind of cheap. I'm not one to usually order chicken, but there's is actually really good. And their shrimp is super tiny, but also flavorful. Definitely give it a try! And get the punch-card so you can get a free meal after you purchase 5!

This place is pretty freaking cool. It's a Japanese food hall with 4 individual spaces inside one…read morelarge space ( the owner also owns the Italian spot on the other side). I went for the buffet brunch at Dear Sushi. I'm not a hugh sushi eater but I loved the cooked stuff. I'm not super adventurous on the raw lol. The buffet is $65 and a 20% gratuity is added. The price was ok with me. There were plenty of food options for me to chose from and the service was good. We sat the bar, Jose and Molly were awesome and mixed up some delicious drinks. The food was delicious. Highlights for me were the fried chicken ( not sure of the correct name), milk bread (had to limit myself, I love bread lol), dumplings ( could have takien the whole tray lol), grilled salmon, and the tempura cauliflower. Another standout was the donuts from the dessert section. These donuts were so lite and airy. Almost guilt free when you bit into them. I would definitely return for brunch or to try out one of the other spots.

We had dinner at Love, Makoto in Washington, DC and chose the Omakase experience in the Dear Sushi…read moresection. The selections were varied and beautifully presented, and we even added an extra plate of nigiri, which was excellent. The fish was fresh and delicious, and I especially appreciated that they served real wasabi, rather than the typical prepared version found at many sushi restaurants. That said, I went into the experience expecting a more intimate, traditional omakase setting. I didn't realize Love, Makoto is such a large, lively restaurant, and the omakase didn't have the personal, chef-driven experience I was hoping for. The dishes were essentially brought out to us with a quick "enjoy," rather than being prepared and presented directly in front of us with an explanation of each selection. I also found the menu structure a little limiting, as each of the restaurant's four sections seems focused on its own specific offerings. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and thought the quality was very good, but for a future omakase experience, I'd probably look for somewhere smaller and more intimate where the chef interaction and presentation are more central to the experience. TIP: The Hiya Izakaya section was a decent place to get a cocktail in advance of dinner.

It was really popular that evening, so the three of got squished at the table meant for two, but we didn't mind. The menu is pretty extensive, offering ramen, udon, tonkatsu, rice bowls, grilled fish sets, and more. We ordered pretty quickly, but with how busy it was, it took a bit for the food to come out CHILEAN SEA BASS - 37 As I scanned through, my eyes immediately fell on the miso sea bass. Despite the price point, I knew I had to go for it because sea bass is hard to find around here. This set came with rice, house salad, miso soup, and cold tofu. The sides were pretty standard -- no compliments, but no complaints either. On the other hand, the sea bass was wonderful. Super creamy and soft, with a strong miso sweetness that packed so much umami upon each bite. I would definitely splurge on this set just for the sea bass. My friend got the ramen and didn't love it, so I'll probably avoid that during future visits. The katsu curry that the table next to us ordered looked and smelled amazing. Overall, food was delicious and homey. I'd definitely recommend!
