What bliss. An absolutely perfect Colombian cafe. The cappuccino had thick foam and was hotter than hot. I recommend the plate of chorizo, plantains, black beans, salsa, and avocado. It's lovely when the late afternoon light hits the wooden table and chair and the brick walls. read more

The greatest empanadas I've ever had. I think about them all the time. We've tried almost every empanada flavor and they are all so amazing. My favorite are the mushroom, tomato, and sweet (guava) ones. The empanadas also come with the greatest pico de gallo I've ever had. Espresso drinks are made with a cool giant espresso machine. I came here because I had an e-certificate I needed to use before leaving Maine and I wish I had come sooner! The atmosphere is very cozy and friendly with lots of food options primarily for lunch or a snack. I ordered their special with fried plantains, carnitas, avocado, cheese, and lettuce and it was delicious-- would definitely get again! I also had a rojo smoothie with beets, berries and chia and it was different but very tasty and refreshing. Not sure where the good reviews are coming from. Maybe it was an off day but the quesadilla had zero cheese and the chicken inside was flavorless. The food was all lacking love. Quesadilla fell apart and came with four chips??? Burrito was sloppily put together with huge chunks of meat and boring flavors. No spice at all. Empanada super dry and came with no sauce. Better off at sublime or even chipotle. Real let down read more

Loved this cafe! We ordered the blanco smoothie, Rosado smoothie and a Carmel latte. It was beyond phenomenal. Everything tasted so real. You could tell every drink had a Columbian twist to it which made it better. The lady who was making out drinks looks a little over whelmed but once more poles walked in she got help. Only think I really didn't like was when we walked in there was a weird smell that ruined my experience at first. The place is decorated really cute. read more

This a great find! Husband Wife team serving great food. We came all the way from portland to find baked empanadas. I saw the youtube video of the owner/chef Carlos making the empanadas and was really impressed. We tried the pulled pork, spicy sausage, beef, queso, mushroom spinach ones. The come with a little tomatoe salsa on the side which was LOVELY. I dont know how they got so much great flavor in it. We also had the guacamole which was on point. The also have a bunch of spicy sauces which i enjoyed! Alejandra took our order, brought us the food, made our drinks and cleaned our mess. She is a hard worker with a happy disposition. I went here for the first time last week and it was amazing! They do baked and fried empenadas. The fried ones are corn so they are gluten free. We got a bunch of baked ones and 2 orders of the fried. Also tamales and some guacamole. It was all some of the best I have ever had! My kids loved it too!! We ordered so much that they forgot one. When they brought that out they also gave us another flavor on the house! We didn't even get to try their smoothies but I am sure they are just as good as the rest of the menu. The baked empanadas were excellent. Not sure how to describe the cuisine but it seems to that they're trying to make their offerings more "American" but by doing so I believe they dilute the flavor of their dishes. It's no longer truly Spanish food, it's Spanish lite? As an example, my wife ordered fried plantains, they came with a dollop of sour cream and some kind of grated cheese on top. Never in my life have I ordered fried plantains and gotten them with sour cream, who does that? The sour cream is not mentioned on the menu (they think it's normal I guess?) nor did they ask if we wanted it. We sent the fried plantains back and requested them, without the sour cream and they were super delicious and sweet. So, my takeaway is when ordering you should ask how they prepare the dish to make sure that it's consistent with what you want, especially if you're hispanic and are looking for truly Spanish food. read more

Went here this morning with a friend after reading a previous review on the gluten free options they had here. Everything was phenomenal-- ordered the Cuban sandwich with Patacon instead of bread, the veggie Patacon, a red smoothie, a mango smoothie, and an iced Americano. I cannot say enough about how delicious everything was! Service was incredibly friendly, they were more than happy to swap out the bread, and the overall atmosphere of the cafe is relaxing and bright! This place has been such an exciting addition to Biddeford/Saco. I go frequently for lunch. All of the empanadas are juicy and delicious. The food always tastes so fresh, and homemade, like your friend made you dinner! The staff also treat you like you are family. They are so kind and will answer any questions that you have!
