Since it's not too far from the interstate, this Costco gas station is in a fairly good and convenient location. Costco is popular and busy in general. The Costco in Duluth is one of the busiest Costco stores I've visited anywhere. This Costco gas station has the most pumps I've seen at any Costco gas station that I can recall (or perhaps tied with the most I've seen). It has 18 pumps. There are six lanes with three pumps per lane. Costco's fuel pumps are designed so you can pull up to any pump, regardless of which side your gas cap is on. The pump hoses are long enough to reach over or around most vehicles. Like every other Costco gas station I've been to, this one offers only two types of Kirkland Signature Gasoline: Regular 87 and Premium 93. Costco gas prices always beat the competition, so if you want the lowest-price gas, Costco gas stations are the place to go. Just note that Costco gas stations are strictly for filling up only, nothing else. There's nothing to wash your windshield, no air for your tires, and no convenience store. Costco uses Top Tier Detergent Gasoline and you can tap to pay with your card or phone. Fill-ups are fast, efficient, easy, and low-cost. This Costco gas station is open Monday-Friday, 6am-9pm and Saturday-Sunday, 7am-7pm.

Many customers have not yet noticed that each pump has a corresponding pump light that can be seen by all drivers waiting in line. When a pump is actively being used, the light turns red. When a pump is not actively being used, the light turns green. When it's green, the next customer waiting in line can drive forward to the next open pump in the line he/she is in. In order to use the gas pumps at Costco, the customers must have a membership card (which can also be a Costco brand credit card) that they have to scan/insert at the pump to begin the transaction. Cashiers and baggers started throwing my food in the cart. I pay good amount of money for my food and i don't want my fruits to get bruised or packages to open. my eggs have broken while they were putting them in my cart. These people in the electric department are so lazy. they just stand there and when asked to help, they are so reluctant. I literally asked about the product and he basically told me I could just order online rather than buying at the store. he just didn't want to do any work. There are some nice staff too but a lot of them just look like they don't want to be there and don't want to work.

I brought a cookie with writing on it to the counter and asked if it could be completely iced instead. The first lady kindly explained she was about to clock out and no one else usually handled that, but another team member immediately stepped in and offered to help if she could just be shown which icing to use. Not only did they both take the time to fulfill my request, they went above and beyond by decorating the cookie with a July 4th theme. Their teamwork and willingness to help truly made my day and my husband was thrilled with his fully iced cookie. This is exactly why I keep coming back to this store. The customer service is always outstanding, and today was another perfect example of how much they care about their customers. Thank you so much for making our holiday treat extra special.

However, the staff at Customer Service are not that friendly professional or helpful. They are unwelcoming, inattentive and dismissive. If you ask for assistance with an item, the response is a no or yes if they have it stocked and they will not ask if they can help you locate it. The Customer service staff need basic training on how to provide customer service to customers. They seem to be deficient in this area. I believe the staff could be better trained to ensure a welcoming environment. I enjoy shopping at this store, and I hope to see improvements in employee friendliness. I ate one that appeared fresh, but the next morning I opened the second container and found several strawberries heavily covered with mold. Visible mold on soft fruits is a food safety concern, not just a cosmetic issue. Mold spreads microscopic spores, and contamination is often present before it becomes visible. That's why food safety guidance generally recommends discarding moldy berries rather than picking out the bad ones. When I returned the moldy container along with the empty container from the berries I had already eaten, the refund was processed, but the manager's primary response was to tell me that empty containers would not be accepted for refunds in the future. The bigger issue wasn't the refund policy. It was the lack of concern that I had already consumed strawberries from what appeared to be the same compromised batch. I expected someone to ask about my well-being and inspect the remaining inventory, not focus first on the return policy. Whole Foods has built its reputation on premium-quality produce. I hope this store strengthens both its fresh fruit quality control and its food safety training for customer service staff.
