We tried Quinn's for dinner our first night at the hotel. The food was just bad. The menu is pricey, which is to be expected for a hotel restaurant, but I assume they don't get much repeat business. Our kids ordered mac and cheese and a burger. I had the blackened grouper sandwich and my wife had the Cuban sandwich. Everything arrived after would must have been a long time under a heat lamp and was swimming in grease. Our server got our drinks wrong twice and then brought us the wrong items on the check. To his credit, he did take off the grouper sandwich, but everything was still wrong. Everything. I finally just paid it so we could leave. The total was close enough. We won't be back. read more

This is the second time I have been to this restaurant and my husband and I do not understand how this is part of the Marriott. This is the second time we tried to give it a shot. The wait is always long, which is expected and not a problem with the view and ability to walk around. However, the restaurant has a general smell that is not pleasant and the bathrooms, male and female, are terribly managed. First visit two years ago was the same experience, we ended up sitting at the bar with a less than pleasant bartender and mediocre food and drinks. Second time, this time, we cancelled all together because we used the restroom and immediately both discussed their condition being the same as last year as well as the smell of the restaurant and walked away. The reason we gave it a second chance was to watch the "fire show" that was a combined maybe 5-10 minutes total, so therefore, we would not recommend and will not be back. Wonderful views, especially around sunset over the gulf. Great local craft beer selection & well made cocktails. The Seafood Boil is a great choice to get a little sampling of different seafood. While the food is decent for a resort, it has become far too over-priced for what it is. We think Marriott is funding their multi-hundred million dollar renovation through major price increases across the resort. 5 years ago Quinn's was reasonable for the atmosphere. Dinner for two was one drink each (small ice-filled drinks in throw-away plastic bathroom cups) plus a salad each- with tip it was over $65! I suggest that unless you are just too tired to go elsewhere, or can't resist the beach view, stop in. But, I suggest you just walk to Da Vinci's down the street for better food at the same price. read more

Nice Marriott resort bar/restaurant. Great views, as it is right on the beach. Limited menu, but fine for lunch or a light dinner. If you are looking for an expansive menu or elegance, then this isn't the place for you. Want a good burger, salad, fish tacos, fish & chips, etc. then you will enjoy Quinn's. Our family dined there about 4 times for lunch during our stay at the Marriott. The only thing I gad that I wasn't impressed with was the Cuban sandwich. Let's be clear and concise; Quinn's is not a great restaurant. It has a stellar location on the beach which you can easily walk to from wherever you're staying, but that is literally the only positive (albeit a big one, it seems to be the *only* restaurant right along the beach with real table service). The service, while friendly enough with the right waitress (we have been here multiple times and gotten both horrible and friendly service), is very slow to the point of frustration. Often you will see several employees doing nothing whilst you wait for service, a shame. The food is only ok, and the menu is not very diverse. Burgers and some salads. Please, somebody read this and give Marco island more choices for beach-side lunch dining. read more

Pricey, but it's in a resort. Great food and drinks, friendly service! They have a really nice outside seating area on the beach and lots of bar seats. Try the Cuban sandwich or the brisket tacos. All of the meat is smoked and cooked on site! read more

By far our favorite food spot on Marco. It's on the beach and I don't think I've ever had a bad meal here. A little pricey, but expected since it's tied to the Marriott. This week we had the typical burger, which is huge, but in the past we've had their wings, churasco steak, and grouper. All were well prepared and served fairly fast. We used to love Quinn's. My wife has been coming here since the 1980s as a kid with her parents. We had our wedding reception dinner here. Things were good. Then the prices just started going through the roof and the quality of the food was lackluster. The view of the gulf is amazing BUT tonight my wife got pretty pissed. Here's why. We have three boys 9,4 and an infant. How often do you think my wife and I get to sit and enjoy a cocktail while enjoying a beautiful Gulf of Mexico sunset and listening to Frank Carrol on the steel drums singing Brown Eyes Girl? Never. We don't ever get this. So we arrive a Quinn's and are asked "indoor or outside?" Outside. We didn't drive for 8 hours to sit indoors here. It's an hour and half wait. No big deal. It's season. Now here's where the wife about loses her sh*t:::: they call our name and since we've been here about 400 times by now we have noticed that when you bring kids, the automatically seat you WAY at the back around the corner where you can't see anything and can't hear any music. Wife says loudly "they better not have open beachfront tables and pass us right by them and take us to the back as usual, just bc we have kids." And what do you know?! Two tables are open on the beachfront and where do we get sat? In the back around the corner with literally, every other parenting couple with children. Wife:: "no no no, there's a perfectly good table right there on the beach. I want that one tonight." Hostess "sorry it's beachfront. " "exactly that is why I want it." "You can't have it." "Why the hell not?" "It's a *mumble mumble* thing." "What?!" "Its like a different wait thing." "Bull shit." "It's already been taken." "There is no one at that table or the one next to it. And they are cleaning off a third. We can take any of those." "Sorry-" walks off. Wife is pissed. Announces loudly to the "kid tables" "and this is where they stick you if you bring your kids to Quinn's." we paid $150 for a sub par dining experience (the food has turned to just bland nothingness lately. The grouper? Eh. The Jalapeño crab poppers - I could hardly finish one. The kids mac n cheese seemed ok) so yeah, $150 for crappy food, crappy "view," and couldn't hear the "band." The Hilton is not nearly as ritzy as the Marriott but the 560 restaurant at least has good food and they dote on our kids and don't treat us like a bunch of jerks who dared to bring their kids out to eat with them. It's worth going to Quinn's if you dont have any kids in tow, and be sure to put your name on the "beachfront table" wait list (even though it doesn't exist but just make reallllly sure they know what's up) and just drink wine and beer and order the two things we do like- coconut shrimp and buffalo wings. (And plan on paying $100 minimum which is totally the norm in this area of Florida.) read more

We were sitting on the beautiful Marriott Beach when someone pulled up in a mini Quinn's on the Go vehicle and asked if we'd like lunch. My husband had a Cobb salad with shrimp and papaya salad dressing which he said was delicious. Being a mango lover, I had the tropical mango salad with mango slices, peppers, Slivered almonds, banana croutons (a first for me) which were delicious, and grilled chicken with a mango vinegarette. It was outstanding. Tomorrow while sitting on the beach, I'm going to order the same salad. The restaurant itself had a larger menu but I loved the convenience of having it delivered to my chair. Awful - unfortunately the ONLY restaurant with a view of the ocean at the Marco Marriot while it is under construction. We waited 1 hour for a table - and were tucked around the corner. I jokingly said now your not going to forget about us back here - they said no someone will be here shortly - and once sat we were NEVER greeted with water or a waitress. After 20 minutes and other tables being served I walked up to the seater & they apologized and had forgot to 'assign' a waitress to us. So another 10 minutes later were greeted. This type of serve was totally unacceptable - and disappointing for a grill at what is a JW Marriot or at least that was what they told us when we booked this hotel a year ago. The food was average bar food - the only nice touch was the fresh crumbed blue cheese on the dressing for the jerked wings. Other then that - it was fair at best but we visited the restaurant -3 times while at the hotel hoping this first experience was a mistake - but it wasn't we repeated regretted coming back. Not too happy with Quinns. The location is excellent, right on the beach (part of the Marriot), and they allow walk ups. Charged me $10 for a virgin daiquiri. Yikes! $4.25 for iced tea. Yikes! Ordered the Cobb salad and it was missing the bacon and avocado (as listed) and had to pester the waiter for these items from the kitchen. He didn't even know what the menu said was in the salad! The shrimp in the salad were cooked well, however. $19 for fish and chips! You are paying for the great location here, food and service not so much. This is a hike through the marriott and down at the end of the pool. We arrived just after sunset so there was no outdoor seating. The bar had long communal tables where we were promptly seated and quickly served. Ceviche was good but chunky. Cobb salad had plenty of shrimp and crab. Fish tacos were also a hit.
