Sighs long.....aesthetically, beautiful but we don't eat aesthetics! Presentation is decent but lacking in quality and technique except for the pillowy bread. That is divine! The Skirt Steak is thick, tough and chewy but seasoned ok. Should've been tenderized, at a minimum. The Beet salad was also underseasoned and underdressed. The Beets needed at least a sprinkling of salt to bring out their flavor, instead of tasting like waterlogged gourds with none. The Goat Cheese Pesto style dressing should've helped but didnt. Again, NO FLAVOR! Not even the Goat Cheese, which usually, at least, gives a tangy pop but nothing, flat! SEASON EVERYTHING!!! WHO PUTS TOMATOES & ROSEMARY in Mac & Cheese! Everyone needs to stick with the basics because a "pine" scent & "fruit" DO NOT BELONG in Mac & Cheese! PERIOD! Especially when you use mild cheeses. Hubby's grilled Lamb Chops were good. Service was swift, efficient and congenial, as we had food to go. Now if they only got the food right, it would've been perfect.

I've been coming to Vidanta for over 20 years and Quinto is by far the best dining experience I've had at the resort. Located on the upper level of tower 5, the restaurant space is modern, inviting and offers great views of the surrounding areas from most of its tables. The food here was excellent. We dined during a week-long special menu event that featured a slightly altered menu including signature dishes from multiple celebrity chefs. Everything was unique and perfectly executed. The steak-tip chicharones and oysters were standouts for us and we could not get enough of them. The octopus dish was tender and some of the best-prepared I've ever eaten. Our steak came out a perfect medium-rare with an insane char from the wood-fire grill. We finished everything off with avocado ice cream which really blew us away. Cocktails here are expensive but creative and delicious. The wine list is solid. Service is friendly and attentive. If you're a foodie staying at the resort, this is the place to hit for an elevated experience.

Ate here three of seven nights of our stay. We fell in love with Enrique and the mashed potatoes! Steaks were delicious (order one temp up, if you're from the US). And yes, the mashed potatoes do taste nutty! They have cashews in them and they're amazing! Wines were great. Servers were all amazing. We had a great time with Enrique and enjoyed all our conversations with him. Very attentive and willing to let us linger - after all, we were on vacation. And you can't beat the view from the top floor of the building. Super lovely atmosphere.

Was in Nuevo Vallarta staying at the Grand Mayan & helped a friend of the family celebrate her birthday! Quinto is the perfect special occasion restaurant & best restaurant we went to while at the resort! Everyone enjoyed their meals. I started with the bone broth soup, then had the rack of lamb with creamed spinach. The bone broth soup had an impressive presentation with a bone in the middle of the plate & the broth poured over it once they brought it to the table. It truly was just broth though, with a few small pieces of beef. The creamed spinach was drowning in cream, which is not the way I am used to eating it, but the spinach was tasty. The rack of lamb was the real star! It came sizzling on a hot mini griddle! Not sure if that's the wisest thing. I was very careful not to hurt myself while eating because it stayed sizzling for a while! The lamb was perfectly tender & seasoned well! They also give u complimentary bread, which was so tasty! A tip: When you enter the restaurant, sit on the left side. That side has a bridge that is lit up at night & a beautiful view of the mountains & bay! The service was also good! It's worth dining there at least once!

Outdoor restaurant - Located at P floor of Tower V of Grand Luxxe of the Vidanta Resort (same area where the infinity pool is located). We requested a seat to be able to watch the sunset and we were seated accordingly. Food - we ordered the Grilled Marrow for our appetizer and it was delicious and flavorful. We requested the flambé option on the 8oz filet mignon which they agreed to. Unfortunately, it did not significantly change the flavor of the steak - no liquor taste at all. The lamb rack was great. I think because they are served on a charcoal plate, it continues to cook, therefore, it was medium by the time i was half way through it. Side of baked potato was cooked right (not overcooked/dry). Service - servers were attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Ambiance - upscale restaurant with an amazing view especially during sunset; Reservations highly recommended. This place is excellent, time and time again. Everything I try- I love. Year after year. 10/10 I recommend. I don't care for the majority of the food at the resort but this place is a MUST! It's got a stellar view and delicious food. Service is also great here, everyone is very nice. you need to make a reservation, and it's worth it!

I went here on the last night of my trip to the hotel. I ordered the Lobster Mac and Cheese. The lobster is a fried lobster placed on top of the Mac and cheese. I took it off for the picture provided. The Mac and cheese itself was deceiving. It looked really good from the melted cheese on top. The actual sauce for the Mac and cheese is similar to velvetta. Not what I expected for the price of the meal. My partner got a filet, baked potato, and grilled veggies. He got the butter with chili flakes sauce for the filet and the restaurant gave him chimichurri sauce. He really liked the chimichurri sauce. Said he would get it again if he went to this place again. The veggies were good. The baked potato has a lot of potential. I think the potato needed to be baked for slightly longer and it would have been great! The bread was a nice touch. It was good. The server we had originally was really busy so another waiter stepped up and assisted him. the second waiter we had was sooooo great! The restaurant itself is nice. The overlooking of the city lights is great. It is calm and there is even a nice litter bar area. I hate to sound too picky but I wish there was slightly more or a stronger light on the table. It was so dark when we got our food I had to readjust the light in order to see what I was eating.

My wife and I came here on our honeymoon, and everything was phenomenal. We were served a complimentary cauliflower dish and butter rolls, which were excellent. For our appetizer, we ordered the baked brie with honey and dried fruit--a wonderful combination of flavors. For dinner, we had the fried lobster mac and cheese, octopus with potatoes, creamed spinach, and ribeye with chimichurri. Everything was delicious, and the service was outstanding. We were also seated with an amazing view of the sunset.

Atmoshere is fantastic. The restaurant is on the roof of Tower 5 Grand Luxxe. Great views of the resort and the bay/downtown. Food was okay. Good quality but lacked flavor. Service was good. Honest, not sure if I will return.

This restaurant meets and exceeds many mid grade steak houses experience I've had traveling the world. The service was on point from start to finish. At one point, we had 8 servers at the table for a party of 8. Drinks included signature cocktails, beer and wine. Appetizers included wedge salads, beef steak tips served with guacamole and salsa. Entrees included a 20oz cowboy ribeye, salmon, and pork belly. I had the outside skirt steak....I seriously hope I can find this cut of meat in the States. Cooked medium temp rendered the fat perfectly in this piece of meat. Sides are presser per person and are a la carte. I enjoyed a side of asparagus and cream spinach. Desert was given at no charge to the birthday girl of the group. Pricing was to be expected of a medium grade steak house and was not a surprise. Excellent service, very tasty food, great job!

At the top of Grand Luxxe Tower 5, they have an exclusive pool with a great view of Vidanta, and this is also where you can dine at Quinto. There are plenty of tables and the view is fantastic. The service is friendly and the food is pretty good too. We came for lunch and I ordered the sandwich. It was a good amount and it was fresh and tasty. They also gave us some chips to start. They have a good variety to select from on their menu. They also have a large bar so that you can order drinks. It was very pleasant up there and there's a bit of a breeze to keep you cool too. Only those with wristbands for Grand Luxxe Tower 5 are able to use the pool up top. But you can still go to enjoy the view and eat at Quinto.

Ok to get to this restaurant is definitely an adventure. It's located inside Vidanta and you must leave your ID at the gate and then proceed to the valet area, then ride a shuttle to the right building. Once you're finally at the restaurant the view is breathtaking, Quinto is on the penthouse level. The food was all superb, lobster Mac n cheese, ribeye, catch of the day, margaritas and banana dessert. Hands down the best fish I've ever had, it was a sea bass perfect charbroiled the seasoning was awesome. It also came with a pepper sauce on the side that was spicy but good. The Mac n cheese was decadent and a nice portion for an appetizer. Highly recommend the El Patron margarita perfectly prepared. I was too full to try the dessert but my husband and son enjoyed it.

Ahh this has an amazingggg view. We got to enjoy the beautiful sunset and delicious food. They were very attentive to us. I got lobster mac and cheese, grilled fish, and a chocolate banana dessert. My step dad got this berry sorbet macaron dessert which was incredible as well! The sorbet was so refreshing. I got to try my sister's appetizer which was an empanada. It was huge!! The beef inside was flavorful and juicy. Highly recommend. I liked the empanada more thab my lobster mac and cheese. We were stuffed by the time we got dessert but we had the meal plan so we could not let it go to waste.
