They blame everyone else and tell you the only way to take care of the car is through their service department. Extremely Disappointing Experience at Quirk Ram I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Quirk Ram, and I must say it was one of the most frustrating encounters I've had with a dealership. The lack of respect and customer service I received was truly disappointing. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this dealership had a serious issue with customer service. The service department gave me the run-around, making it incredibly difficult to get a straightforward answer about the ongoing issues with my vehicle. What was even more shocking was when they attributed a vehicle problem to its color, suggesting that "it is what it is" because the car was white. This kind of excuse is not only absurd but also insulting to customers. The communication was another major problem. I was repeatedly told that someone would call me back, but it only happened after several reminders or when I visited the dealership in person. This lack of follow-through and accountability is unacceptable. Overall, my experience at Quirk Ram showed a complete lack of respect for customers and a disregard for their loyalty. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your automotive needs. This dealership's attitude towards its customers is simply unacceptable, and I hope they take this feedback as an opportunity to make much-needed improvements. Last visit was June 12, 2023. I visited this location last week with interest in a Jeep Compass Sport, drove 30 miles only to be met by a disinterested salesperson. Their attitude seemed like they valued their time more than the customer's. We were not greeted well on arrival instead pointed to the keys for a test drive. Post the drive we were asked to give an estimate and waited by the desk while they pulled some financing data. We were then taken to a desk and after a brief "take it or leave it" chat we were asked to look at other dealerships and return if still interested- In and out in 5 minutes. Peculiar isn't it? Working and building a relationship with the customer is key and that was the missed opportunity here. It is ludicrous to have a salesman/business direct customer to other competitors. I feel like I was judged on whether the salesperson's time would be productive. A friend who recommended the dealership suggested that they got a great deal and customer service. Neither the salesman nor Quirk can come this far with the same approach to every customer, so I wonder what kind of a bias this was. Quirk is a large organization and perhaps can afford to have a couple of unhappy customers and unsold inventory. P.S. I reached out to Quirk with a descriptive feedback but got no response. I see that they have responded to almost every review here and I wonder if they will choose to stay silent. Quirk- If you decide to respond, don't apologize and direct to an email ID. -5 stars This place is horrible. My wife and I bought a brand new 2021 Durango off the showroom floor July 2021. We put almost 50% down on a $52,000 vehicle. They wouldn't offer us any extras(oil changes, discount on automatic starter etc.) We chalked it up to Covid. Less then 4,600 miles later, in October, my wife brought the vehicle in for transmission problems, they fought us on a loaner but ultimately gave in, even though we had to bring it back twice for oil change and tire problem, 7-9 days later after talking to, service manager and Dodge(dba FCA) they finally admitted it needed a new transmission. After another 11-12(21-23 total) days we finally got the vehicle back. In January 2022 we brought the vehicle back in for the same issues. This time they refused to give us a loaner or reimburse for a rental and could not give a time frame for when it would be ready. They drove it for 13 miles and refused to admit anything was wrong. We then hired a lemon law attorney who is working on mediation. 2 weeks ago they requested we bring the vehicle on 04/12 at 9am for the Dodge engineer to inspect the transmission. Again no loaner or estimation of time. We arranged our schedule to make it work, at the end of the day on the 12 we get a call that the engineer won't be there until at least the end of the day or tomorrow, so they will have to keep the vehicle. Again no offer of a loaner or rental. We picked it up at the end of the day on 04/13, the service department said the engineer could not find anything. This time it was only driven 22 miles, not nearly enough to diagnose the issues we explained. This dealership promised us the world and boasted about there customer satisfaction, and claimed to be advocates for blue collar people and young families, like my wife, daughter and I. Yet have treated us like we bought a used car, with pennies, from a side of the road used car dealership. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to my worst enemy! read more

I own a 2019 Jeep Rubicon with the extended warranty. The Jeep has 23K on it. I wash the Jeep once every two weeks. I'm seeing rust bubbles on the hood, see attachment. There are no dents or chips to create this internal rust bubble. It's from the internal weld at the lip of the hood! I contacted the Quick Marshfield store. The service Manager informed me that they could / NOT help me. They only help people which purchased their Jeep from their store, due to the HIGH volume of Jeeps with rust. This is not right? What about a Jeep warrantee and extended one which I purchased. I did not see any fine print, stating that I needed to bring my Jeep back to my original dealer!!!! read more

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I made an appointment two weeks ago for 9:00 this morning. I let them know that I needed a recall done, an oil change and an inspection sticker. I drove my Ram in, careful to leave all the necessary information, including the recall announcement last night, so it would be there on time. They pulled it into the shop early and called me, telling me that they couldn't do the recall because they would have to order parts . ( They had two weeks to do this.) The woman said that she would call me, when my car was done. I called at one. Not ready. I went there at 3:45. They pulled it around. Still no inspection sticker. Somehow , while the car was in their possession, my front plate magically disappeared. No plate, no inspection. I had to obtain a new plate and letter from the RMV to get my inspection sticker.The service department was totally unconcerned. I am yet to see if any parts were actually ordered for the recall. read more

Amazing experience. I was shopping around for a new Jeep and wanted to trade in my 2010 Jeep Liberty Renegade. I first went to Lawless Chrysler in Woburn and it was a shit show there. I will make a review for them later, but to sum it up, they didnt honor their quote and that's bad business. Told them if I walk out the door I'm going to Quirk in Marshfield and getting another vehicle. They scoffed at me and off I went. Came here and was helped by Tear and Steve. Both excellent classy car dealers. While Lawless valued my trade in at 4k (absurdly low), I got a value of 7k here which was amazing. I ended up getting a brand new 2020 Compass and couldn't have been happier with it. Tear helped me finance it and get a good rate at that. He took care of all the ins and outs. I was able to drive away with my new car the same day (took a while and required some luck but it was worth it) and they even did the inspection sticker on site. It was a seamless experience and I am overy happy I chose to come here and not deal with Lawless. They are a shady dealership, avoid them at all cost. read more

Once the price was agreed on I called Quirk Dorchester Sales to close the deal. They put me into a sales manager who stated he couldn't sell the vehicle for that price. I said I have the price it in writing form Quirk Ram Dorchester; he stated again that he couldn't't sell the vehicle for the price provided. He wanted to charge me over %5K above the quoted price. I drove from the cape yesterday to quirk Jeep in Marshfield Ma. I made a deal with them for a 2020 wrangler that they had on the lot. I signed all the paperwork and gave them a check for $3000. I was picking up my new Jeep on Tuesday May 26th. Spent about 2 hours there finalizing everything. I had been going back and forth by email with Steve Barry for about 2 weeks to get this done! I was very excited that the deal was finally done! I was on my way home back to the cape and received a call from Steve Barry saying that quirk Jeep in Braintree had sold the car and that the deal was dead! I have never had anything like this happen to me before. I would like to warn anyone else thinking of making a deal with them that you might not get your dream car after you sign the contract! After that experience I am very nervous when it comes to scheduling car maintenance appointments. My Jeep Compass needed an oil change, so I scheduled an appointment at Quirk Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Marshfield. Over the phone I emphasized how I only wanted a regular oil change.... After the service, I received my bill and there was an additional $30 on it for a tire rotation!!! This dealership completes extra work to your car and then convince you that it was YOUR fault for this confusion. When you try to explain that you did not request this work, they try to "help" you and sell you a maintenance package to pay for the "mix up". After my oil change at Quirk Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Marshfield, I am discouraged about getting future oil changes. Do not put your daughter, sister, wife, and/or niece through it. read more

The service department is hands down the best I have ever experienced! I called because I was having an issue with the installation of my Jeep soft top. Matt in service suggested I come in and he would help me figure it out. When I pulled in, Matt came out immediately followed by 3 or 4 Technicians. Everyone was SUPER professional, friendly and most importantly helpful! One of the Technicians (also named Matt) worked on my jeep and did not stop until he ultimately fixed the problem. The ad turned out to be very misleading offering a cash price that was purely unattainable on any vehicle and the tool for trade value was only off by 7k. The salesman was decent enough and was honest that the deal wasn't to be had. I did However catch some lip from one of the managers on the way out that finally pushed me over the top. The funny thing is I've had the best experience buying a car than I've ever had from the same company different product different location, carvana offered 38k for my 2021 bronco the Quirk originally offered 37 until I showed up and that changed to 30. Navigation started malfunctioning on my 2015 grand Cherokee Overland purchased new from Quirk now with 65k miles. System display would occasionally show vehicle not where it actually is; off as much as a mile. Reported to Quirk Marshfield while car was in for scheduled oil change. Service department reported there is a software update available that may fix it but may also break the head unit and if it does then I'd need to pay $1k for a new head unit because car is out of warranty. I declined the update and instead googled 'navigation issue 2015 grand cherokee' and quickly found many reports of the same problem and suggestion to try factory reset. Holding climate up and down simultaneously gets you to factory reset option which fixed it. Quirk service personnel should have known to try this its not rocket science. read more

Fantastic experience! Buying a car is one of the least favorite things I think a person can do. (me anyway) I always feel I could have gotten a better deal. I went with my son last summer when he bought his first car. Scott the salesman was very polite and informative. He didn't pressure us in any way. Any questions we had he was ready with a detailed answer. My son bought his car and the experience was so positive that 7 months later when I needed a new truck I switched from Fort F150 to a Ram 1500 Rebel. I met with Scott and we made the truck I wanted on Dodge website. They didn't have my exact truck anywhere within 500 miles so Scott ordered it from Dodge. It took a couple of months but Scott kept in touch and kept me up to date on the progress. The Truck came in last week and we went in and signed the paperwork and was ready to drive it the next day. It was a stress free purchase. Could I have saved money somewhere else? I honestly don't think so and Scott is such a nice guy I highly recommend if you want a Dodge to give him a call. We've bought two vehicles from him and now my wife wants a Jeep. Nest spring I think I'll be seeing Scott again. Good luck whoever wants a new car and it doesn't hurt to check out Quirk. read more

I've only ever taken my Jeep to have it serviced at this location for the last 2.5 years of me owning my '15 Cherokee. I last changed my oil with what this dealership told me was synthetic approx 4 months 5k miles ago. I moved, and just had it serviced at Sears Auto. They showed me the condition of the oil. Being that it was so poor and black and full of crap they Rec. engine flush. Doesn't seem like this service dept at this dealership has been honest about the type of oil they've been using or if they were really changing the oil to begin with. read more

First, my wife and I walked in and ALL 6 or 7 of the sales people were sitting there on their phones and computers. Not one looked up until I said "excuse me". They were completely disinterested. Then we drove the car we were interested in and attempted to come to a deal on it. Their used car manager took a look at our trade and offered us a lowball number. He then tried to say that he "was concerned about a ticking sound and it could need a new engine". What!?!? the ticking he heard is the fuel injectors which is TOTALLY normal in BMW M Series engines. Was he really this clueless or was he just trying to screw us? They also refused to budge on their asking price of the car we were interested in which was way higher than any comparable cars I've seen in my research. Needless to say we left and will not be going back to Quirk in the future. There are PLENTY of car dealers who actually want our business. read more

Then they will come back with a new higher price and refuse to negotiate.
