Hopefully you'll have already been deterred by the slew of negative reviews, but if not I can add another one. I was 9 months pregnant (with the flu) at the time of purchase, which should help explain why this car was purchased in the first place. We were sold tire insurance "in case we hit a curb or got a nail in the tire". I was in there today to have them look at my tire as part of my service and was told that the insurance didn't cover cosmetic damage to the rims and that I should have read my contract. Obviously I should have have read my contract and not taken your sales associates at face value, because they are a bunch of lying snakes. We've only serviced the car there a few times. One time the car was returned without the oil cap after a change. We call and asked them why it wasn't replaced and was told it wasn't them. Ok silly me, yes I must have opened the hood, removed the cap and totally forgot about doing so. Now I'm lying in order for you to replace a $5 cap. Obviously we were more concerned about the damage that could have been done to the engine. During our last visit as we were leaving the woman in service said they forgot to put the truck cover back in the car. My husband said he'd put it in and she made a big deal about putting it in herself. A week later we looked at the cover and there was a tire mark which crushed the cover. When we called we were told again that obviously it wasn't them. Again, we are lying or must be complete idiots who forgot about running our cover over. Maybe we are idiots because we did buy a $60k Jeep from these slime bags. read more

Great Dealership. They gave me good value for my trade in to help me make a lease more manageable. Some of the salesman use outdated cheesy sales tactics but for the most part are direct and to the point. My only complaint would be that they lure you in with very low advertised lease prices. Nevertheless you still get a great deal and can get in a car fast. read more

I lease a Jeep Compass from Quirk and have only been in for service on relatively standard stuff (oil change, a/c repair, etc.). But every time I've been in,I've had the distinct pleasure of being taken care of by Jen Benson. Jen's awesome. She's polite, funny, and explains issues and options in an understandable and accessible manner. Which is good, because you could fill several libraries up with what I don't know about cars. At the end of April I came in for a visit in regards to my 2015 Jeep grand Cherokee for service, my when main screen told me I need to contact the dealer as there was an emergency, I have had no function of my GPS and my clock has been changing times at random. Worried that more is wrong. Jeep dealer told me that they do not have a fix for this but they're working on it, two months have gone by. I called quirk jeep with in the last 36 hours and was told that the service manager will be in touch the following day and that has not happened. I have bought at least five new VW's from Quirk and two Fords from them as well. I have referred at least six other buyers to Quirk dealers as well over the past thirty years. But today I got the worst lying experience I have ever received at their Jeep dealership. All of these reviews are either a one or a five with most of them one's. I called and asked specifically to test a five speed Patriot and told Sam, who it turns out is a "manager". I said I would come right up and asked to have the car ready to test as I didn't have a lot of time and wanted to really check out the car. When I arrived 45 minuted later no one ever heard of me and I was told the car was requested when I called which wasn't true. Then after twenty minutes of waiting I was told the computer said the car had left the remote lot, which is less than a mile away and, "that it would be here in any minute". I was left standing there in the dealership with my car blocked by one of their their cars for another 18 minutes when I asked to have the car moved so I could back my car out and leave. While I was out in the lot getting ready to leave the car arrived and I drove it for a couple of minutes not to make the salesman who was handling this mess for Sam not have wasted his time too. All in all, an hour and a half of wasted time with no apology from Sam. Not the way to do business with me. read more

This is the worst auto dealership I have ever been to. Seriously the service is bad, whatever they say about my car needing repairs is never true. I have no idea how this place stay in business. My husband brought the jeep in because of the squeeking noise it created while driving, the dealership said it needed front calipers replaced, did that and came home with a burning smell. Then brought the car in again to have them check out a few weeks later, they said the back engine is dead and will cost 1400 to fix. I stand corrected. The manager Michael reached out to me immediately to make this right. He was very attentive to why I was upset and was determined to find the root of the problem. They got me scheduled in for the next morning, even though they were extremely busy and provided excellent service. Along with this, they were not pushy and provided good advice about further maintenance on my car. We all have bad days, but they provided great customer service and made a negative situation a positive. For that I am thankful. They certainly won me over. read more

Sales team is fine - the service department is very questionable. Dropped my brand new vehicle off for basic issues - left it over night. Next day came back, service order was complete and the team told me all issues were taken care of. I drove not 5 minutes down the road and recognized that nothing had been done. I went back tot he dealership, spoke with the service manager who informed me that they had in fact done none of the work they said they completed in the work order. I had to bring it back in the following week, where the bare minimum was done - I live 1 hour away and I was done with them. Later I found out while still trying to fix the issue at a more local dealership that they had claimed to Jeep corporate they had fixed the car 3x to get reimbursed, which caused me even more issues when actually trying to get the work done. If there were any other Chrysler dealership nearby, I'd go there. After paying $500 late last fall for a 30,000-mile, 30-point inspection of my car, they sent me away with my low tire-pressure light on. I didn't turn right around and go back because it was the first really cold day of the season, which normally reduces the tire pressure and isn't that big a deal. But two days later, the tire was flat. I paid them $500 to inspect my car; they looked at 30 things that were just fine and ignored the one warning light that said there might be something wrong with the tire. That tells me they don't care about the quality of their work or about my safety. Pathetic. read more

I had a appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. When I arrived, the repair coordinator asked me if there was anything else that needed to be looked at and I explained that it was ticking and idling rougher than I would have expected for a new Jeep and that the driver's window was leaking where the glass meets the door frame. He said that they couldn't look at the window because that would take three hours. Seemed like a lot of time to just look at it. I requested that all five tires be rotated and he said he put it in the ticket. From the waiting room, I watched the mechanic rotate only four tires, so I let the coordinator know and he went out to the mechanic to get it corrected. The mechanic still did not complete the rotation in accordance with the standard five tire rotation pattern, but I did not complain again as it was already an hour later. After paying the invoice, I went out to the Jeep and immediately noticed that the rear driver's side tire had a 3-4 inch gash in the outside sidewall. The damage to the tire was significant enough where it was unsafe to drive (confirmed with the coordinator and salesman). The coordinator stated that all of the mechanics had gone home, they could not help me change the tire and the mechanic that had helped me had to stay late to correct my tire rotation. The damage is noticeable from 20-30 feet away and a certified mechanic wouldn't have missed this while changing tires using a lift. I don't know if the mechanic chose not to inform me (maybe because he was late, maybe because I complained about not correctly rotating the tires, either way, it is unprofessional and potentially dangerous) I changed the tire in the dealership parking lot. With the exception of the nice salesman with a pronounced leg injury, no one offered assistance, even while I was going through the owner's manual to ensure that I was correctly using the jack and jacking point on my new Jeep. I hope that every customer that walked by me changing the tire wearing business casual clothes understood how that should reflect on the dealership's quality of service. Every Quirk employee that walked by me or watched me from the windows had an opportunity to step up and do the right thing for a customer. read more

Fabulous experience with the team at Quirk yesterday!!! I found the Jeep I wanted online and spoke to Tim on the phone at the beginning of the week. Tim kept working until he got an excellent rate for me from the bank and he helped me get all my paperwork in order from my home in Western Mass before I drove out to Braintree so that I could be in-and-out-the-door to drive my new Wrangler in the sunshine. When I arrived, Mark, the manager, greeted me like a friend with a grin and a handshake and introduced me to Tom who patiently showed me all the fancy features of my new Jeep while I ran around it, hopped in and out, and pushed buttons. We popped the freedom panels off and stowed them in the back and went for a cruise, windows down and AC blasting away the 100+ degree heat. The Quirk team also assisted me with getting my old car back to my home in Western Mass so that I could catch a tan driving my new Jeep home! There are other options. I left here feeling very uncomfortable. The rates provided were over $150.month more than the quote I was emailed. I told them the color I liked, they went through EVERY other color questioning why I didn't want that. I asked specifically when they were running rates if they were putting in a hard credit inquiry since I wasn't ready to buy yet. I was assured they would "Never" do that without my permission. Buyers beware, prices advertised are $10k less than actual price of the car. But quirk won't tell you the actual price of the car or discuss applicable incentives unless you go into their dealership in person and file a credit application according to Hilda Ormeno who responds to internet inquiries. Most people won't qualify for their incentives unless you're in the military, a realtor or recent college grad but they won't tell you that until you come in. Total waste of time. read more

I test drove a luxury vehicle at Quirk this week. The sales person brought out the pricing/negotiation sheet and after discussing for a few minutes I pointed very clearly out to the sales person that it WAS THE WRONG CAR. He immediately told me that he had double checked the VIN number and it was the correct car, but the descriptions on their sheets were often incorrect. The manager even came out to talk to me. I brought my spouse back later to test drive the car with full intentions to purchase, but it took 30 minutes for the car to come to the front and it was the wrong car. I asked for the correct vehicle and was then told that I was right earlier in the day and they had negotiated pricing on the WRONG car with me. No offers to come to solution or correct at any point. After leaving, I received a standard email from the manager saying how sorry he was I had left without purchasing a car and asking why. I have little faith that if this is the way customer service and attention to detail goes at Quirk Jeep of Braintree of customers being taken care of and happy! read more

This was the first dealer I went to looking for a 2012 Jeep Patriot. I thoroughly researched online and spoke to a number of knowledge people and a number of dealers before coming here, as they had the car I wanted at the best price. Harold, the salesperson, was nice enough and the price seemed fair. When he hit me with a $300 documentation fee I decided to look elsewhere for peace of mind. That's when he began asking me if I had done any research and telling me that I would be stupid and wasting my time to go somewhere else. He also told me that normal people don't go to more than 1 dealership before they buy a car. Very unprofessional and it actually made me feel quite uncomfortable. After leaving Quirk I went to other dealers and told them the experience I had. Before even mentioning the dealerships name, they all said "must've been Quirk." Don't waste your time here. Also, a bit of info regarding the documentation fee. Sounds like a somewhat common (50 of 180 dealers charge $275-300) practice but something you should not have to pay. Had a good experience at Quirk this week. Went in on a Sunday to start looking at cars - we left a few hours later after deciding to lease. The sales team was good - although I did feel like we were part of some sort of script when they brought in "the other guy" to "close the deal." That being said, Sherrad Abdool was extremely helpful handling all of our paperwork and ensuring we received the best service. He recognized us when we came back to pick up the vehicle and was helpful, respectful and seemed genuinely happy for us. One area that could be improved upon was when we arrived to pick up the car. We had a 2:30pm pick up time and spent an additional 2.5 hours there waiting for the inspection sticker, plates, etc. to be done after we signed additional paperwork. It was frustrating because I had planned to only spend 30-60 minutes there finalizing everything. Lesson learned on my behalf to tell them to finalize that before we arrive. Wish I had thought of that before and saved myself the additional 2 hours. Overall I would recommend the team here. Can't wait to enjoy my new Pacifica! read more

After well over a week of car searching and being referred to Quirk by a friend who'd already sent two other friends to buy cars there (successfully), I ended up working with Thomas Cintron the salesman and Sam the sales manager at Quirk to lease a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I spoke to Sam several days in advance over the phone before driving all the way from Boston. I told him what I felt fair pricing for the car was, what I was looking for, and that I didn't want to waste any time. When I came in I was greeted by Thomas, who (besides being a very nice and cool dude), was knowledgeable about the car and not at all pushy. They were aware that I was shopping a bit above my budget and was trying to come to terms with that, but no one gave me any grief about it. They didn't have the color I wanted on the lot so they called over to their warehouse for it and had it over in a couple of hours. Between Thomas, Sam, and the finance manager Sean, we had the deal wrapped up in a couple of hours (on December 31, no less) and I drove off the lot with the car, which was my goal for the day. It was the end of the month so I got a very solid price on the car and a fair enough price on my trade in, and I'm absolutely thrilled with both how the car drives and the tech package it has. Although the car buying process can only ever be so "easy", I felt that my interaction on the day of purchase was overall one of transparency and diligence on the behalf of the sales and finance teams. Three things to also make note of: 1. One might not immediately notice this about dealerships in general, but usually there there are back offices where the sales and finance managers hang out so as to provide a degree of separation between the sales team and the guys who make decisions (and by virtue of doing so isolate the customer in the hands of the salesman). However, at Quirk Jeep they have designed the dealership differently, with no back room sales or finance offices. Instead, all of the sales and finance managers and associates are out in the open at a large desk in the rear of the showroom. I was able to freely go over and interact with the finance manager and sales manager throughout the course of the deal, instead of having the salesman running back and forth for me (generally a hallmark of any car purchase, but not the case here). 2. From what I understand Quirk has some sort of foothold on Chrystler/Jeep vehicles coming through the Boston area, which is what I am told allows them to give the best prices. This appeared to be the case but I am also relying on info given to me by a third party unrelated to the transaction. 3. Although everyone involved in the transaction did their part well, I would like to emphasize again that it was Thomas Cintron, the salesman who worked with me, who most successfully made my purchase at Quirk Jeep a positive one. If you're looking for a Chrystler or a Jeep, I highly suggest you give him a ring. When my mom's lease is up on her Audi A4 I'll be sending her to see Thomas to test drive the new Chrystler 200. read more

The sales manager tried to trick me by rolling in my trade-in car value toward the lease payment, and the actual final lease price was much higher than the price without the trade-in. After failing to trick me to sign the lease, they grew angry and was very rude. I will never deal with this dealership ever again, and will never recommend anyone to do business with them. I went to this dealership for a repair to my car. This is my first and last time bringing my car ever to Quirk. My car had to be towed and I was driving another car. I parked in the parking lot that only had 2 cars present at the time. Instead of a polite salesmen greeting me, I was immediately interrogated about whether I was there for sales or customer service. I was rudely told to move my car to the customer service area. After I moved my car, I saw the salesman again watching to see where I parked the car. Did I mention that salesman couldn't even bother to greet me with hello before the questioning of why I was there. I bought a jeep once, you would think a salesman would be polite and try to keep a jeep owner loyal to the brand. I will never go back to this place just because they act this rudely over a empty parking lot. How about saying excuse me ma'am, are your for here sales or customer service. If I say customer service, try using a simple word like "please" first instead of immediately ordering me to move my car. I know my next car will be a jeep but I rather fly down to Atlanta, Ga to purchase it there again. The dealership in Atlanta was beyond polite and respective. I can't say the same thing for this establishment. It does not matter if the repair is done properly. My first impression was wow this guy is a major jerk and I know I will not come back. This was all before I stepped into the customer service area. I also declined any additional repairs besides what was absolutely needed to get my car drivable out of the that lot because I had no desire to give this place anymore of my money. read more

Mark Lucia helped me and he was amazing. He showed me many different models and educated me as much as possible on the wranglers. He helped me with my decision in the end and I am more than pleased with the service. He made sure everything was done quick and efficiently so I did not have to make many trips to their location. There has been less than one handful of times where my husband and I had acceptable experience at a car dealership. My husband and I do not look our age and most sales rep ignore us assuming we are not serious or capapble in purchasing a vehicle. It almost felt like that walking into this Quirk dealership, but things quickly change once we were set up to work with Thomas Cintron. He was friendly and ready to help us. We test drove a Grand Cherokee Limited and during that process, he supplied us with information to compare a few other available vehicles offered by Jeep. Tom did not waste our time during the price negotiation process and we ended up agreeing on a price. We picked up our vehicle the following weekend and Tom was very thorough in explaining how to use the amenities in the vehicle. He made sure all our questions were addressed before we left. Hopefully with this being a new vehicle, there will not be a need for any kind of service soon. When that time comes, I hope the reviews regarding the service department is not true or improving. read more
