There is a comfortable waiting area though. Booking online is a breeze. The staff that assisted us was helpful in both keeping us updated on our wait and when it came to clues. We did "The Black Widow". It was frustrating at first because we kept coming up empty, but once we got going, we were on a roll. As a group of just two, we still completed the room with about one minute to spare! I'd definitely return to try other rooms but I'm also eager to try another location entirely for comparison!

Every great escape room must have a backstory to set the mood: You and your loyal band of Knights have been entrusted with a difficult mission: to uncover a concealed trove of gold and rescue the King from a deadly fate. His chambers are teeming with enigmas that shield his most prized possessions. Our quest is to locate the gold, escape the room, and deliver the ransom before the King's captors carry out his execution. (We considered dressing up as knights to get into character! ) Our Experience: We had a fantastic time! The room was beautifully decorated! The puzzles became increasingly challenging, requiring curiosity, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and sharp eyes to conquer them all. In the end, we narrowly escaped, saving the King just in time!

There are no padlocks to open in this room, which is very different from the majority of escape rooms that just lock up clues to puzzles. We had a great experience and would highly recommend this room for escape game fans. They use a high quality camera to take your picture and it's emailed to you later on the day. They currently have one escape room and are building out a second room.

As a four-person group, we decided to take on Poe's Chambers. The theming of this room is immaculate! Just the door to the room evokes the early 19 hundreds. Poe's Chambers really makes you feel like you're in the creative poet's home. I loved the overall feel! My fiancé and I were able to get the group through some of the puzzles, just due to our vast experience with rooms. I believe even our first-timer friends were able to see how we were making the connections and able to get their brains going too! I felt like we all really handled the room well and that it was friendly to them. There is one puzzle in particular I think E.R.A. needs to update. If it doesn't sit just so, it's easy to miss the clue. Though, everything else in the room worked flawlessly. Our game master was very attentive when we asked for two clues, though it took us a bit to decode her hints. We got out with 7 minutes to spare. I can see why this room would be an 8/10 difficulty. It's a fairly linear room, which I prefer when it comes to games. I've done rooms that feel scattered and those frustrate me to no end, lol. Took…read moresomeone here for their birthday but was running behind by 15-20mins because of some hellish traffic getting into the harbor. I was able to call 15mins before to let them know and they were very gracious about it. They didn't take any time off of our session either. I love that the rooms are just for your group because while trying it with strangers can be fun, it's def hit or miss depending on how those people vibe. We had the Batman room and only got as far as the jail cell/second room before we had to leave to make a dinner reservation. What the hell were we supposed to do with those chains !? I spent the rest of the day googling it hoping someone would spill the beans but no luck haha. I must've missed the rating while booking because apparently the difficulty was 8.5/10. I'd try it again for sure.

Titanic was more challenging so we needed help a couple of times but it was fun to play nevertheless. If we have more time, then we would have play the rest of the rooms there, but we can do that in the future. I appreciate that the location is open late at night so you can always find a time slot available. We purchased some T-shirts for the memories. We had one hour to escape and it took us 36 minutes to complete it! Our eight-year-old daughter had a blast! Another fun element is the lobby is filled with games from Connect Four to Battleship.
