I left messages just to inquire about the job it was after 10 pm and expected they would respond by early morning but instead i was surprised that the boss Bert was still fielding phone calls at this time . My 14 year old garage door was extremely loud and old and I want to see how much a new one would cost to be installed. I contact SQ Garage Door and Sergio came over that same day and showed me different options. He quoted me and I told him that I would shop around and get back to him. I got two other quotes and the level of professionalism that Sergio ( and Bert, the installer/co owner) showed was better than the others. I contacted Sergio again and we were able to make a deal on the installation of a new Clopay premium series garage door with Bonded Polystyrene that was 1-3/8" with a new Liftmaster 8355W Belt Drive opener. On the day of installation, they were suppose to start between 9-10am but due to a miscommunication on their part and traffic, they didn't start until 1130am approximately. It was okay because I was off of work but their quality of work made up for them being late. Bert, was the installer and co owner, and he was quick and professional and a pleasure to talk with. Bert and his son did the install and they made sure everything was working, aligned and properly installed before leaving. They cleaned up and I paid on his cell phone and a receipt was emailed to me. Bert informed me that I have a one year warranty with them and he left me his business card and also advised me to buy some garage door grease after a year or so. I would recommend Sergio and Bert from SQ Garage Doors for any of your garage door needs. Excellent service and fair pricing! The field technician, Humberto Rodriguez, is professional, friendly and kind. Had my garage door opener replaced by him, which I was very happy with. A few weeks later I started having problems with it sending error codes. Mr. Rodriguez came out again and discovered the ball bearings were beginning to push out causing the opener to display codes and stop working. Fixed it there and then and recommended also replacing the wheels soon and had me listen to it to understand the issue. Will be replacing them next month and again using R&Q. Sergio replaced both of my garage doors. I was going to purchase garage doors from either homedepot or lowes but Sergio turned out to be the better option and price. Sergio came right away and gave me a free quote. He knew exactly what we needed and what he had to do. He worked with our budget and showed us multiple options. He was quicker and cheaper than lowes or homedepot. As soon as my garage doors came in he installed them in one day. My only critique is that he should had caulked and used adhesive on the side garage door seal/gasket and He should had checked on the nails to make sure they were not sticking out.
