Last night I went there with my girlfriend for the first time, we tried the r burgers and they were really good, the bread had a unique taste, it had lots of avocado and the meat was huge, probably 1/3 pounder, also the fries were those nice thick ones that looked homemade and it had seaOsn saLt, plus it was a big serving size, we had an ice tea drink and it was also fresh brewed so it was a plus. Prices werent bad at all, paid 20$ for both of us, also they have really nice deals for like family packs or little meals like a burger fry and 2 tenders for 5$ or so and it's really cheap and fresh food. Their food is good it's just the service. I was in the drive through trying to place two orders but they said they couldn't do it, I understand some places don't do it. When it came down to pay I was trying to pay both with cash and card because I had limited amount of money on my card. When I gave them both cash and card the guy told me he couldn't do that. I use to come here when it was Gus Jr and I'll say that I thought Guys Jr was good, now that it's R burgers and I've tried their food, I'll say Gus Jr was not that great and R burgers is soo much better. Their chicken salads are really good and they're a good size with a decent amount of chicken. The chicken tenders are crispy and come with a heaping amount of well seasoned fries. The R burger is my go to burger when I'm craving one. The avocado is always on point and it has bacon, need I say more. I deleted my first review because the picture of the chili cheese fries that I added did not show up and I couldn't figure out how to edit and I really wanted to show them off because they were the best!!.lol..My boyfriend and I have been there twice, the first time we both ordered the $5 combos, he ordered the fiesta combo that came with two beef tacos with the most delicious, crunchiest corn tortilla shell and a bean and cheese burrito. We upgraded for onion rings instead of french fries for an extra $1.79 which was a steal because those onion rings were delicious and they were also huge. My boyfriend absolutely loved the beans that were in the burrito and the flour tortilla was outstanding, it taste homemade. My burger combo included a huge burger with a delicious beef patty that looked like they hand made it themselves because it taste very fresh. It was a single patty but it seemed like it was 2 because it was that big!!..lol.. I added cheese for an extra 60 cents which again is a steal. The burger combo also came with fries and two big chicken strips that were a very high quality and also amazing! They also serve you 2 generous sides of ranch. I can't emphasize enough how big the portions of food you get, my boyfriend and I were definitely full after those combos. Today we ordered the pastrami combo and we upgraded for chili cheese fries, again I can't tell you enough how delicious the food is here! The chili cheese fries were to die for and the pastrami was incredible, I loved how they toast the bread. Jack Jr. burgers in Moreno Valley used to be my favorite spot but now this is my favorite burger joint. I work at the Lowe's nearby and that's how I found out about R burgers because a lot of the employees go there for lunch. I also purchased the chicken strip combo today for my daughter and she instantly fell in love with the food herself! We will not be driving to Menifee to go to raising cane's anymore because these chicken strips have definitely won my heart. It is a bit pricey, combos starting at $10, but the portion size is worth it. They offer burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, tacos, nachos, burritos, shakes, and serve breakfast all day. First of all the burgers here aren't the thin patties like most burger stands. I would say a single patty is at least three times as thick as the things patties. I understand why they use those patties.but these burgers are way more juicier. Secondly, the portions are big. I only can speak of the double cheeseburger combo. 9.99. Came for breakfast, it's been awhile since our last visit. It's quiet and clean. Breakfast was good, not great, but food arrived HOT and not overly greasy. A lot of places, ur lucky if ur food is warm when u get it, lol. Coffee was HOT and they have vanilla creamers...I luv it!! Is it weird that they don't have salt & pepper shakers at the tables??? Good quality food and really made fairly quickly. I got my order faster than I have at some chain fast food places. For my first visit, I had a Big Texas chili burger which was excellent but a bit over priced at $6. Keep in mind I get a decent chili burger at Tommy's for less than half the price, but this was a better and bigger burger. I split it with someone who was trying the biscuits and gravy, which were also quite good for restaurant biscuits at $4.25. There was some confusion about the side of bacon as the girl at the register told me it was $1.50 per piece of bacon, so I reluctantly agreed to pay $3 for two pieces of bacon but was pleasantly surprised to open the box and find 8 very large strips instead. So obviously, it's $1.50 for a 4 piece side of bacon. (Actually I went back the next day and found out $1.50 is to add 2 pieces of bacon to any sandwich. A 4 piece side is $2.75. Oh well, that just means I got free bacon on my first visit.) Next on my to try list is the BBQ bacon burger, which appears to be a version of the Carl's, Jr. western bacon cheeseburger, minus the cheese. Again at $6 I find it a bit pricey, but I only get the comparable Carl's burger when they send out a BOGO coupon, so I've been spoiled. (I actually went back and reordered the chili burger. It was too good.) They also have fairly decent prices and portions on their breakfast that is served all day. Overall, I look at this place like a little diner with fair prices where you can get burgers, sandwiches, breakfast and some Mexican food any time of the day. Their burgers are delicious, the fries were seasoned and based on the quality of the burger, it's fairly priced. My wife is very picky when it comes to cleanliness in restaurants and was very satisfied.
