The food is good. Prices are little high and I have an issue with them getting my order right or forgetting things I ordered.

I could have sworn I had done a review on this place previously. Maybe even 2. I used to live near this building and they were incredibly fantastic. Things have changed the more construction they did on the outside it seems. It's almost as though the more they built the less quality went into their food. This most recent order was mediocre at best and both pizza's I got had minimal amounts of sauce and cheese. They used to put so much cheese on these pizza's that there would be pools of grease from the cheese alone. This last order, and the previous one, left a lot to be desired. My biggest gripe would be the lack of sauce. Well I guess that and the amount of cheese has vastly lessened. They have a fast and efficient ordering process and the dish was made within the time frame specified. They also have an abundance of very easy negotiated parking and are connected to a store I believe are owned by the same person and the manager runs both businesses if I am not mistaken. We had our event catered by Ramona Lisa and it came out wonderful. We got chicken Alfredo, chicken Parmesan, spaghetti and meatballs, three different salads with Garlic bread and all the fixings and a ginormous pizza. It was a huge hit. The wait for our takeout order seemed excessive especially because our order didn't include pizza. They were very busy, but had plenty of employees. When ordering spaghetti, I asked for no meatballs and the cashier said, it would be no problem that it would just be pasta and marinara sauce, but it was smothered in cheese. I probably should have asked specifically for no cheese, but it seemed misleading. The spaghetti was supposed to come with a side salad, but it was missing and they forgot to include napkins. I also noticed other customers coming back because of incorrect orders. When ordering fried zucchini, they said it came with ranch and marinara and I asked for only marinara due to a dairy allergy. I wound up with 2 ranch dressings and 1 marinara. The spaghetti pasta was chewy and the marinara was marginal. The zucchini was dry and tasteless. On the plus side, the greek salad was very good and included plenty of greek olives. Also, the employees were cheerful and pleasant. read more

Good grub in the sticks.. Actually San Diego County Estates is a very nice housing development, but it's way out there. After a day of looking for homes we were quite hungry. We drove by this place and saw a big banner stating lunch specials..Sold! dishonest, rude, manager, ripped me off, came here after I had a wad of cash on me since I just got off work. the rude manager told me it was 35.50 for a pizza and I asked him again "35.50"? he clarified and said yes. I go home and check the menu and it says 29.50 mind you I am 17 so he probably thinks he can make some extra money off of meso I had my mom call and ask the same thing this time he says the real price. mind you this is 20 minutes after. so I take the phone and tell him he charged me 5 dollars extra then he goes on a rant completely classless and disrespectful something like "oh you want your 5 dollars come get your 5 dollars". I show up and I have voice recording of the whole thing he mentions "why do you have your mom and stuff call me just tell me" and I mention how I had to drive all the way back down here and 5 dollars isn't going to cut it, I am talking completely respectfully and he points to his head and asks if I'm okay. absolutely terrible service pizza was cold and I am never going back here ever again. this was never a situation about the money it was the principle of the situation which is why I am left shocked this place is still in business. read more

A few years ago the pizza here was just okay. A few months ago we tried Ra-Mona Lisa again, and we were thrilled by the results. This is some great, great pizza. Love the Spicy Hawaiian. The toppings are generous, and the crust is fantastic. I like that they don't undercook the pizza, either. What's got me writing a review, however, is something we didn't expect - how much we also like the food that ISN'T pizza! On a whim we ordered from their larger menu and discovered the best french fries we've eaten in years. The Philly Cheese Stake sandwiches are awesome. They even do ribs. Sometimes we'll just pick up an order of those fries when we're in the mood. It's a little pricier than I'd prefer, but I think the quality is much better than anything in town, and worth the extra few minutes to drive here rather than settle for something less! read more

Getting food to go is a big treat for us the last few months. I noticed on the front door all the information on wearing mask. As I walked in I noticed one man waiting with his mask hanging off his ear . Then I looked at the cashier and she had her mask off. Then a man at the counter with no mask on. He was holding his mask in his hand. I went outside and waited till the man at the counter walked out. I did ask a girl at the counter about having the signs on the door and asking people to put their mask on. She just looked at me . I think if you hold a sign up saying please put your mask on. I am very glad that they are here in the San Diego Country Estates. We have very few businesses that are a short drive. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a bargain shopper. Pizza, which I love, is something that I revile against overpaying for. So I was very happy to find their daily carryout specials. They are on a seven day rotation. We typically get either the Monday or the Wednesday special at least once a week. Cons: Their website is a little clunky, but not bad for a small local business. Not all of their pizza toppings are even on the list and you can't split half and half. So I always have to type the ones I want in the comments. It is good, but not necessarily "epic". Definitely a nice change from the 3 pizza chain stores in town. Pros: Beyond their daily specials, I want to say that their staff is always friendly. Everyone seems genuinely happy to work there. How someone handles a problem always tells me a lot about them. Once they got my toppings wrong. When I pointed it out they immediately offered to remake it. When I declined (I just wanted to get home) the owner or manager pulled another pizza that had just come out of the oven showed it to me and said, can I send this one with you as well? Off I went with an extra free large pizza. Aside from the pizza, we get the lasagna as a part of the Wednesday special. It is very tasty. I'm not sure that I would encourage someone to drive out to SDCEA just for Ra-Mona Lisa's food. However, if you are out here, I would certainly recommend having some. read more

I must have called to ask questions in preparation for a large order at least 4 times and each time, I spoke to a new person and each person was nice and patient with me. We ultimately ordered 5 XXL pizzas. I needed them to be cut more than 12-pieces, but none were which ended up being okay but it didn't happen when I requested. Stayed in a nearby hotel for Valentine's Day weekend, by the time we got in it was so late our delivery options were limited. We tried Ra-Mona Lisa's because they were nearby, open, and delivered. We did NOT expect we would be getting some of the best sandwiches either of us has had in years. She requested mushrooms and olives on one half only (I hate those) using the standard half moon shapes. The pizza we received had mushrooms and olives on the whole pizza. The onion were raw, like the put them on after the pizza was "cooked". Most of the dough was raw except for the thin middle. This is not the first time this has happened.
