I've always been a big fan of this place but my last few pizzas have been different, not sure if it's due to covid and the ingredients they use are different due to availability, a different chef or just the quality had to change to compensate for this economy but 2 pizzas for $50 are not up to the quality they used to have. I would love to give them a 5, but sadly, they make mistakes on our orders 2 out of 3 times. It's very sad. Their food is delicious. From the sandwiches to the pizza to the calzone and wings. Great food! But....I no longer feel like I can order sandwiches because they get every order wrong on the sandwiches. Items are left off of orders of pizza or calzones. Just this week we had company over and ordered from Ramona Lisa. The pasta was supposed to come with salads. No salad in our bags. Too long a drive to go back. Simon just made me some "Jelapeno Poppers" ($7.55). I like to make my own but do purchase them speratically. From the first bite after dipping them in the "House Ranch" dressing (ok), I am a very happy man! Very happy. Love these. So much so I don't want to pollute my mouth with peppercini that I also really like. This place is under new ownership as of last month (July 2016). Heard about this little mom and pop shop from some friends who live in the Ramona area. Was craving some good pizza so decided to take the drive up from East County to try it out, and boy did it not disappoint. The amount of options they have is amazing - honestly something for everyone. The crust on the pizza was the perfect thinness that I could enjoy all the toppings. We got fries raviolis they were so hot and fresh, we finished them just on the ride down the hill alone. The entire staff was so welcoming and eager to help, which is such a nice change compared to other business during COVID. You can sense the family owned atmosphere in the air. Yes it's a little bit of a drive but it was so worth it and I will most definitely be coming back! 5 starts for sure and I hope everyone tries it out and supports small business during this time! read more

Ordered one of their cook at home pizzas doesn't come with the right directions but when you try to take the pizza off the paper plate it's stuck to it I live four minutes from the restaurant and I refrigerate it until I cooked it it wouldn't even come off the plate in the rolling it up and making a Stromboli out of it don't recommend at all read more

We ordered delivery from our Riviera Oaks resort and racquet club because the restaurant was recommended by the front desk. We had a medium pizza with half sausage and mushroom and half Canadian bacon and pineapple on regular crust. The pizza was covered with toppings and super delicious. We also had the Eggplant Parmesan served over spaghetti which came with a side salad and garlic bread. I had just came here for a slice of pizza with my parents. Guy was nice at the counter and we were the only people there, which is always a warning sign to me, but looked past it. Took about 10 minutes to heat up 2 slices of pizza, by this time a few more costumers had come in which put me at ease. Our food came and once the guy headed back to the counter, began to argue with his co-working about scheduling issues. I know this because they were arguing that loud that I could hear them over the other customers conversations. This had gone on until we had finished our meals, and I had to interrupt their arguement to say thank you for the food and service. The order was right but it wasn't as good as the first time. Reminded me of Little Caesar's. Little Caesar's is $5, I paid $17 last night. With that said, you can guess whether or not I shall return. I have heard that this place is run by the same people that run the taco shop next door, the place that charges you $1.50 extra to utilize the salsa bar after you pay about ten bucks for many of the combo plates. I'm just visiting the city so I'm not sure if there are other nearby pizza places but this one was the closest to our resort... APPEARANCE: the place looks better in person than on Yelp pictures. Here on Yelp it looked like there were no TVs. So we did carry out but when we arrived the place wasn't bad and they had two TVs and one was reasonably big. Bummer we didn't know that beforehand we could have watch the game there. PARKING: okay space for the area. CUSTOMER SERVICE: good. No complaints. We ordered over the phone and it was hot and ready when we arrived we were in and out in less than 5 mins. FOOD: mozzarella sticks were so delicious. Hot wings were okay. They were meaty but a lil dry and they weren't hot which was fine for me. The pizza had big slices but the pizza was far too salty and the cheese texture was way too thick and dried up. But the crust was so delicious that I ended up eating just the crust. PRICES: $30 for 1 large pizza, 6 mozzarella sticks, 10 piece hot wings. But bc I didn't like the wings or pizza too much I'd say it's a lil over priced. This place is pretty easy to find since it's close to the San Diego housing development and is included in the Village Shopping Center on San Vincent Drive (on the left coming from Ramona). The pizza was decent, that was about it though. The customer service was nil. The gentleman who took our order didn't seem very happy we came in while he was watching Olympic figure skating. Unfortunately, he came off a bit rude when taking our order even though we only ordered one pizza to go. Not to mention, the cost of one pie will be having you regret coming in anyways.
