We glad that there were not that many people on the line and the staff makes our orders very quickly. We ordered the Assam milk tea 25% sweetness, 30% ice with boba. Tiramisu milk tea 25% sweetness, 30% ice with boba . The milk tea tastes better than the average boba place in the Bay area. If you are hanging out at the San Jose West Field Mall, it's worthy to try out the Rabbit Rabbit tea. read more

This could be a preference but let me preface this review by saying: I like my mt on the sweeter side considering that I order my mt's at HappyLemon's or T4's at regular sweetness which to most, apparently, is pretty darn sweet. Anyway, Bf ordered the Tiramisu w white boba and egg pudding, regular sweetness, light ice, and it was only slightly sweet and hardly any flavor peeking through. I got the Assam MT w white boba and it was less sweet compared to the Tiramisu. Meh. :/ This place just isn't enough for me to come back. Btw, they dont have black boba; the cashier says they have white boba which pretty much tastes the same as the black, and it does. Can't believe there was a 5 person line here. Here was my take on Rabbit Rabbit Tea: First, the aesthetics were very cool. They had a lot of of cool names for their drinks. A lot of mixture of milk teas and fruity drinks on the menu. Also I love how they use paper cups for their packaging. They try their best to limit their plastic as much as possible. A+ for that. Drinks: So my friend and I got the Assam Black Tea and my other friend of the Green Milk Tea. All the drinks had regular sugar and ice level. We wanted boba, but they ran out. Our drinks were super tea tasting and it tasted diluted. If only that can make it more sweet. The Assam Black tasted better than the Green Milk Tea in my opinion because it tasted like perfume. It was a little difficult to finish for my friend. Overall, I would go back again to try it with boba. Since we couldn't get boba, we figure that was where the lack of sweetness came from. read more

The primary reason for their 3 star rating is that they're pretty pricey. Don't get me wrong, the drinks do taste good! You could really taste the Assam black tea in my Assam Milk Tea and it wasn't overly sweet even at 100% sweetness. The Passion Fruit Mountain Tea was also good (especially when you take a Gogi Berry packed sip!) and was already sweet enough at 25% sweetness. However, paying more than $5 for the drinks that we got just did not feel worth it. Even with their quality of tea and the utilization of a few organic and fresh fruits I don't think it justifies their price point. The fact that they were out of boba that day also does not help their case in being a 4+ star (and yes, I know that's a bit harsh but trying a boba shop's boba is essential to understanding the shop's foundation!). read more

Love the milk tea here! My go to order: green milk tea 25% sweet 30% ice I love the green milk tea here with their non dairy creamer! It doesn't taste like only milk like a lot of places but you can actually taste the tea! Their milk tea hits the right balance of having that creaminess to it and yet also having a strong enough tea flavor while also being light and refreshing! And in no way does it taste watered down! Rabbits Signature Fresh Fruits Iced Tea $5.75 + $0.50 for lychee jelly: I'm not quite sure what fruit flavor this is, but it was really good! I never know what to choose for ice and sweetness level so I just say regular. Seeing it printed on the cup sticker this time made me realize that means 100% for both. I would definitely get 30% ice next time and try 75% sweetness. We were lucky to visit on the last day of their Chinese New Year promo and got a free red envelope (no money inside though) and a pig nose sticker. I didn't even notice the sign before we ordered so this was a surprise for me, and surprising me with free stuff always improves my experience. Final thoughts: I hate that this is at Valley Fair as I rarely come to this mall. Hopefully, they open more locations (Oakridge please!!) so I can come more often. Stopped by to grab a drink for the long line at Ramen Nagi. I ended up ordering the mojito drink (forgot the actual name) which came as a large for $5.75. I personally found it a bit expensive considering I got mine without toppings. It tasted pretty light and refreshing and I liked how there were orange and lime slices inside (the tea tastes better if you crush those up with your straw). Unlike most other tea places, I thought the sweetness level here was perfect! I was worried that the drink was going to be too sweet as it only comes in 100% sugar but that wasn't the case at all. I do wish there were a stronger tea flavor though. There is quite a long wait though so be prepared for that. Ultimately, rabbit rabbit is a decent option for drinks at the mall. Got thirsty after some shopping in Westfield so decided to try the Rabbit Rabbit Tea. I ordered the Assam milk tea with boba, 50% sweet, 30 % ice. The milk tea was very refreshing, not super strong tea taste but after I sipped on a couple of sips, I felt very calming...wonder if it's the special effects of Assam? I was really surprised with the boba. The boba was soft and chewy, not very honey flavored but because it was so soft, it tasted like fresh homemade boba. Another boba place in San Jose so I came with small expectations. My first visit was greeted with a long line, but I figured it'd be the worth the wait. Tried the japanese buckwheat milk tea and an iron buddha milk tea. Both were kinda lackluster but the boba was great, probably one of the best in SJ. However, seeing the reviews I had to come back and see what I was doing wrong. Next tried a sulley's cloud which yeah looked nice and tasted all right but nothing that seemed to warrant the 4 stars they currently have. Out of curiosity my friend and I decided to experiment with their options as we didn't believe that a shop could have good boba but not good drinks. And it worked, using fresh milk (+50 cents) instead of their non diary creamer makes the drink a lot better. The taste comes out stronger and sweeter just the way I like it. My go to is now a Japanese Buckwheat milk tea 100% sweet/100% ice with boba and fresh milk. The taste between not having fresh milk and having it is super drastic and you won't want to go back to their creamer after having the fresh milk. As such, one of my favorite spots now, not much lines on weekdays and usually easy parking in the nordstorm garage. The one caveat I have is that fresh milk is an extra cost, as well as ice only being 100%/50% and no 75% option which sucks as 50% makes the drink not cold enough, whereas 100% ice forces you to finish the drink quick or it ends up giving you a diluted drink. read more

The tea here is priced accordingly because the quality and flavor is on point. I was seeing the reviews that the line can be long, but I saw no one on a tuesday late afternoon. Our drinks were really bitter like the tea was over-steeped or something. Recently, the same friend that I went with said that she wanted to try Rabbit Rabbit again after seeing/hearing better reviews about it. I happened to be at the mall the next day so I decided to give it another try. I got the iron buddha milk tea and it was actually really good! Perfect balance of sweetness and tea. I'm actually craving it right now... For a milk tea place inside a busy mall, I'd say it runs pretty smoothly. I stopped by on a sunday evening, with somewhat of a line, but it went by really fast, and I got my drink within probably 5min or less, which is pretty quick. This is a long overdue review of rabbit rabbit tea. I first came here for their grand opening and I remember telling myself that I would never return after that initial visit. I decided to come back on labor day, since I was at the mall, was thirsty and heard from others that they thought rabbit rabbit tea was good, so I gave this place another chance. DRINK: I ordered the golden jinxuan milk tea with brown sugar and no boba. The tea tasted a little bitter and bland, it was not very sweet (i got 100% sweet) and on top of that I also got brown sugar which is supposed to be one of the sweetest toppings for milk tea, but I barely tasted any brown sugar after mixing the drink. When I stabbed my straw through the cup, I realized they used paper lids instead of plastic. I might have been forceful but the paper lid ripped more than I expected. It's nice that they're being environmentally friendly with the paper lids though. SERVICE: I received my drink shortly under 2 minutes after I had ordered, good job for fast service. PRICE: The price was 6.06 for a cup, which I say is pretty pricey, for the amount I'm paying for a drink... it should be better quality. But this place is tucked away in the mall, a perfect place to jack up food/drink prices. LOCATION / AMBIANCE: This place is in valley fair located in the second floor, near Nordstrom and North-face.I will say that the presentation of the drinks has a nice concert and is aesthetically pleasing for those who like Alice in Wonderland and bunnies like me. Wow I'm shocked how good a mall boba stand could be! According to my friend this brand is from Taiwan, but what boba place isn't nowadays. This place surpassed my expectations! I got the Iron Buddha milk tea which is a roasted oolong tea. One of my go to type of teas when I'm trying a new place. Rabbit Rabbit's iron Buddha milk tea is exactly what roasted oolong should taste like. This drink had a strong tea taste and wasn't overly milky, just the way I like it.
