I ordered the Grapefruit Green Tea. It came out within 5 minutes. It tastes a bit sweet at 25%. It has an artificial grapefruit taste to it. The rainbow jelly tastes like sugar. Parking is more challenging at this plaza since adding newer sections with more businesses and reducing the number of parking spots. The interior is small and narrow. I got the King's Tea - a slightly gingery oolong. I thought it was not super special but decently good tea flavor. My husband has been coming here for a long time but they recently changed a bit, including the points system, so he was no longer able to redeem his points which would've gotten him a free drink. The staff was professional about it and helpful in introducing new drinks, but it was a little disappointing that we couldn't do anything about all the lost points. read more

Molly Tea and Chi Cha San Chen are nearby, and their teas are pretty mind-blowing. I've gotten Ten Ren twice over the last couple of months, and they're still A-Tier, but it's not as bomb as I remember. Let's just say...I miss the old ten ren, the one where you can smell the tea eggs before walking in, the one where there were only 4-5 stools to sit, the one before the renovations, etc. I've been coming here for 10+ years and always get their jasmine milk green tea and it never disappoints.. until recently. Not sure when it started happening, but it was pretty close to when they changed the cups. BUT if you're changing the cups from plastic to paper (which is awesome), shouldn't the taste be the same? Kinda like "new look, but same taste?!" Not in their case . I always get their jasmine milk green tea with aiyu jelly and regular sweetness. Super tasty and my go to drink. But the recent years I've gotten it, my drink was like SUPER BITTER. I'm not sure if they changed management with the new look on the inside or what, but their drinks are not the same as before. I also used to get their mango milk tea with aiyu jelly and 25% to 50% sweetness, but i've only had it once where it was perfect with the old cups.. which tells me that they don't measure and basically free pour when they make the drinks. Long story short, ten ren used to be a favorite, but has gone downhill in a short period of time. I don't ever waste milk tea, but the one I got yesterday was really hard to finish. Don't waste your money coming here, there are way more and far better boba places within a 5-10 mile radius. Very disappointing! read more

I liked their green mango but I think it got discontinued. Last I went, the interior was closed and you could only order from outside. Their prices are great too--only about $6 for a large cup, while most other boba shops charge $8-$9. The staff is friendly, efficient, and consistently provides excellent customer service. The only downside is that they use creamer for the milk, which contains high fructose corn syrup, so it's something to be mindful of. I admit the oolong tea flavor is strong which is great, but I thought it lacked the milkiness and cream of a milk tea. Would not order again. Jasmine Milk Green Tea with pearls: very good tea flavor, strong floral notes. Better than the 913, but still not our favorite Jasmine milk tea in the area. I finally decided to write a review for one of my favorite boba places if not my most favorite boba shop in the Bay Area. The parking is super spacious in the cupertino village plaza. You wait in line and the drinks are prepared quickly usually within 5-10 minutes depending on the crowd. The drinks here are around 6 dollars. My personal recommendation to anyone for their first time here is their roasted oolong milk tea (50% sweet and less ice). If you like fruit based drinks I also recommend the strawberry milk tea. I love how strong the tea flavor is on their drinks are. They maximize the tea flavors with their loose tea leaves. This causes the milk tea to have a strong oolong taste which I like. I love how the flavor isn't too overpowering having just the right amount. I highly recommend ten ren if you like strong tasting teas that isn't just sugar bomb. Also, get a little higher sugar if you don't like bitter tasting teas. The quality is consistent and high standard. One of the best boba places in the Bay Area. read more

They have the option to sweeten tea, but I went with the High Mountain Ooloong zero sweet with boba just to see what it was abt as a baseline. Good tea, very warm and chewy soft boba pearl. I was curious about the mung bean as a topping; the gal at the counter was kind and offered me a sample. All in all, good spot! They usually have a line, so when they had a short line, had to try them out! If you're in the mood for some really solid tea, this is definitely a good place to start your search. The shop is still operating in a primarily COVID-oriented posture though so window browsing only (not allowed inside, they take orders at one door and you pick it up at the other). Being in the Apple Park / Cuptertino Village, parking is plentiful but might take some effort to land an open spot. Orders can be placed in person or online via doordash or farebites. Ten Ren as a tea company out of Taiwan has a pretty good reputation for tea quality, so it's happy to note the teas you're getting (boba tea or otherwise) reflect that penchant for quality. I ordered a 913 King's Oolong hot milk tea (+pearls and grass jelly) and I can tell you it was quite the lovely treat. The oolong *really* comes through strongly in it's full aromatic glory so you're not just tasting sugar/milk. Pearls were also soft and chewy deliciousness, though fairly minimal on the syrup front (I'm more akin to less sugar anyway). Definitely a solid spot to hit up the next time I'm in the area. read more

I'll start by saying that the tea flavor is VERY STRONG, you have to be fully aware of what you're buying. A lot of places have a hint of tea flavor in their milk teas but this place stays true to the name of MILK TEA. I got a jasmine milk tea, and I will say I've had better but it was decent.
