It's a great disappointment. From the service of your car, and how their service department is so quick to find that the customer is the reason there's a problem with the car not due to the technicians being unskilled at their job. Didn't put on or remove something correctly and now there's an issue. Then their so bent on making sure that they don't cover much on the car due to their error so they talk about if there was no extended warranty although the car has the problem because of the recall service that wasn't done on time or properly the customer still needs to make sure the car has an extended warranty. Anything to avoid accountability and responsibility. Then they provide you with a loaner that is 3/4 of gas then they tell you we don't fill up loaners here but you can bring it back to us in the same state. No concerns or displaying any consideration as though your expenses don't matter and you putting gas in the car the same day you got it shouldn't be an issue. Wow! It goes to show the customer that Raceway Nissan has not changed its behavior from the past reviews on this thread that are similar to the one I am writing. I gave them a 1star rating because I couldn't go lower. The finance manager called me and told me that I was approved for a no down payment auto loan. When I get to the dealership they have to "rerun my credit" to finalize the deal. Instead they shop my credit 5 times plus they ran my credit 3 times themselves, putting 8 hard inquiries on my credit file. Then they come back with an excuse that I now need a cosigner and 30% down. Stay away from Raceway Nissan's service department. Took my 2024 Nissan Kicks in for a check engine light. It was found that rodents had chewed two wires. They told me it would be a 7000-8000 repair and if I chose not to do this expensive repair my car would be red flagged by Nissan and my warranty voided. I provided them with their own literature stating that the repair they wanted to do was not recommended and they only needed to repair the two wires. After going to higher ups at Nissan they then came back and agreed that I was right and the large repair was not needed, my car would not be red flagged and my warranty would not be voided. They then said they would 'cut' me a deal and repair for $1200. I am 5 hrs away in another city so I agreed. When my daughter picked up the car and provided me with their itemized bill, it shows that they charged me over $900 for a diagnostic fee, which should have been applied to the overall repair and only $300 max, according to my conversation with service tech Yvette....it obviously was not!! I will be filing any and all complaints and documentation I can with Nissan and Consumer Protection agencies. They use scare tactics and flat out lie to you to convince you to purchase their grossly inflated repair recommendations. As a side note if the car was here where I live I could have gotten the vehicle fixed for $250. Quite the difference between that price and $8,000 or even $1,200, wouldn't you say? If you're looking to get screwed then this is the place to go. Dealt with a so-called finance manager Daniel Macias. Lie#1 when shown a paper with their non optional add-ons. He said all dealers have add-ons..Not true!. Lie # 2 To get a lower rate than what my credit union was offering he said it was required to purchase an extended warranty ($3,000) Also Not True! Did complete the purchase with their lender with the extended warranty. He did not present it to me on day of purchase. After my call to him 3 days later he emailed the warranty which shown it would expire at 60,000 miles (the vehicle already had 45,300 .Then he claimed its 60,000 extended to the current mileage Another lie (confirmed by the warranty company) so for $3,000 the warranty would expire after driving just 15,000 miles! Pedro was condescending, rude, and didn't even bother to have the correct information. He pulled out my manual from my car and started reading it to me. Once he left, I dealt with Liseth who was equally as unpleasant but without the condescending attitude at first. Until she called me and started to repeatedly explain what a tire rotation was as if I was a child. When I walked in to pick up my car she was actually reading another review about how terrible their customer service is and I could not agree more. Had to pay twice because of an employees mistake.I went to get my car up to date and I bank with PayPal the total was just over 3,000 dollars so my daily spending is capped at 3,000 dollar so I offered to come tomorrow and pay the remaining balance since we couldn't pay in full so I call my bank and they said the could transfer that amount I explained to Yvette that I have never transferred money like that and she insisted we can use her bank account so that I could take my car she does the transfer on the phone with my bank and the bank rep asks her if everything was correct and she transferred the money .The money never hit her account and I had to repay 2,500 dollars after my money went "missing "and the shop basically said bc they had me in a rental for the time being and in the end they threatened me with a lean hold if I didn't pay the repairs that were owed long story short this whole experience was traumatizing I just wanted to make sure my car was taken care of and instead I was played into paying twice. read more

Had an 11:00 appt yesterday for an oil change that took nearly 2hours. I was the only person in the waiting room the entire time and now I know why they have no business. While waiting I wasn't alone I had plenty of service people walking around clearly not busy but still 2 hours for a simple oil change. After an hour I ask the girl who checked me in about how much longer it would be and that's when things got worse. Yvette was her name. Yvette rudely told me that this was their lunch time so it would still be quite a while. When I asked why schedule appts just to have customers wait she snapped at me and said if I didn't like it to bad and she can also tell them not to give me a courtesy wash. I asked to speak to a manager and informed him of Yvette's rude comments and he was very apologetic but I have a feeling things won't change. This dealership has always had bad service but thought I would give it another try because it was under new management but it's still terrible. AVOID; Early today (2/2/22) i walked into raceway nissan in 92507 and spoke to Ryan Dimaria. We ended up make a deal (I thought) we shook hands and stated man's word. He told me and my significant other the "dealer fee" was going to be the warranty for the car ($2500) and that GAP insurance was necessary. Ok agreed on $335 monthly. Got sent up to finance and gentlemen tells us its going to be about $380 with warranty and gap. Ok we did not agree to this. Its okay he was dishonest like a lot of dealers. Thats fine we'll keep looking so we left. 2 hours later he called my wifes number that texted him her paystub and asked to talk to me (all on speaker) to harass us for not buying a car from him and leaving this honest review on yelp he requested. He ended a call very immaturely by stating we will not find a better interest rate and hanging up on me mid sentence. Very rude and disrespectful, my significant other startled up over a simple car buying experience. It is unfortunate Nissan has a man like this working and representing the brand. So this is my second time taking my Nissan Cube in. Both times have been surprisingly pleasant. This time I worked with Sam. Sam was friendly and knowledgeable. Once I dropped off my car I got a call back within 30 minutes giving me the prognosis. I was able to use a coupon that Nissan had recently sent me so it helped some. The girls at the cash register are friendly and efficient and the waiting area has a TV and I believe a vending machine. They also provide coffee. The sales manager, Ricardo, is a jerk...As I don't want there to be any potential legal action, I'll refrain from posting the exact term to describe someone who engages in this kind of behavior, but I am sure you can figure it out. It all started with an email. I made an offer on a Titan that included tax, title, and registration with no add-ons. The offer was accepted and I made an appointment on Saturday to test drive the truck. The night before, Ricardo emailed me to say that the truck was in the shop to have some scratches buffed out and would not be there for my appointment. He suggested rescheduling for Tuesday the following week. As the dealership is quite a distance from my house, I told him that wouldn't work. Saturday was the only time I had available. At this point, I was just disappointed as I had cleared my Saturday schedule to potentially buy that truck. I decided to go anyway as they had a couple of other trucks I wanted to look at. I was very clear with the salesman and Ricardo in every conversation we had about price. I restated throughout the negotiation. I stated it to Ricardo. I stated it several times to the salesman. It was the bottom line number including tax, title and registration. When I got into finance, the loan was over $3k higher (without tax, title, and registration). I was livid. Ricardo backpaddled, essentially called me a liar and said that was not what we discussed. I have bought numerous cars and trucks. I never discuss monthly payments, interest rate, or anything other than the price out-the-door. Ricardo, you are a disappointment. People coming to your business deserve better. Brought in 2022 maxima for routine service (oil change, tire rotation etc) which I still had two more free services under my sales contract. Service Advisor didn't bother to look it up, just tried charging me for it. Then told me I NEEDED to replace transmission and brake fluids. Both these should be done around 30,000 miles. My car has 26,000 and i drive maybe 9000/year. I asked to speak to Service manager so Advisor left for a while then came back with some chart showing fluids should be CHECKED at 15,000 and 30,000 and changed if dirty. He said tech thought it was dirty. My bill went from zero to $600. My time from one to two hours. Service manager never came out to talk. They also charge 3% if you use a credit card. read more

I did not realize until I left that the fuel on the car was almost empty. I also realized they had not done an oil change on the vehicle. They sell you a bs add-on for an interior protectant but they only clean the top surfaces. When I got home, I noticed it was dirty on the sides so I took it to get cleaned. Opt out of these add-ons, they are optional!!! When it's your first vehicle and you are alone they will tear you down. Take someone knowledge with you. Vulture Aguilera will speed the signing process so that you do not get to see what the documents says. PLEASE read them; SPECIALLY where it says that add-ons are optional. When you see this tell them you don't want them and he has no choice. These are professional and legal scammers. Luis seems sweet and helpful but remember these vultures survive on numbers and selling as much as possible, regardless if they screw you or not. Why I bought another Toyota. After I retired, I decided to take my 2009 Toyota Venza to Raceway Nissan for regular maintenance because it was walking distance from my home. After several years, and taking the car in as scheduled for regular maintenance, I once received a call from the service department telling me that the fuel tank drain was "cross threaded" and the tank would need to be replaced. Without thinking, I told them to proceed. Later, it occurred to me that the only people working on that car for some time (several years) were the service reps at Raceway Nissan. So, I called the dealership, the service manager, the general manager, and the owner over the next several weeks and no one ever returned my calls - in fact their voice mailboxes are full and not taking any messages. So no one there cares to talk to a regular customer. Recently, it was time for me to replace my car and I bought a Toyota because the proximity of Raceway Nissan does not compensate me for the total lack of concern shown about this "mere" $320 issue. Service departments are a profit center for dealerships, but this dealer won't get my business for new cars or service because they have proven that they don't care. Worst experience ever!!! So I've been shopping around for a car for awhile and I FINALLY found one that I wanted which was here. First I go to check out the car.. no one helps us for at least 30 mins. Then we check it out cool.. So we talk to JAMES at first. So we are talking numbers and we show him the offer we got off of truecar which was about $200 less then what they asked for which was. So they basically padded the account with over $1800 worth of GARBAGE fees that we KNOW we don't have to pay for. (See image below) so we ask them to remove them because we don't want the security system or the nitrogen in our tires.. JAMES says they aren't going to and we can take it with them added on or leave the car.. literally what he said. So we insist we speak to someone and he bring his "manager" PEDRO. So PEDRO aka PETE isn't really a manager he's a sales consultant.. but never mind that.. so he comes out and says the same thing and REFUSES to remove it. We basically let him know we know the game and those aren't things we HAVE to pay for and he gives in and tells us that they basically put car prices lower to get people in and pad the account so that they can make more money and they won't remove them because they will "loose out" on money if they do.. so with the padded account the car goes from 14,921 to now it's 17800... so we leave. I really REALLY want this car so we go back in and say okay if we can knock it down 17500 I'll take it now.. then PEDRO says "no it wasn't 17800.. it was 18100" lying mfo.. so we left again.. so this time we are driving off and he speeds AFTER us and stops us and says "because I like you how about we give it to you 17800 out the door everything" mind you that's not even a deal but I want the car.. So we go BACK in and he's writing it down and my fiancé asks about warranty which is obviously not included right.. so warranty ends up being another $1300.. so now this car went from 14921 to $19,100?!?!? F@$k that.. so we leave. So two days later JAMES calls my phone and ask me if I want to come look at the car.. completely forgot we were already there. So my fiancé gives him the rundown of what happened last time and while she's talking to him he starts talking to people in the background and is LAUGHING.. you can tell he thought the phone was on mute cause when my fiancé said "are you talking to people in the background right now?" He said hold on and muted the phone so we hung up. This experience was absolute TRASH and that sucks because I was actually going to suck it up and just pay for the car yesterday. Mind you Had a check IN MY HAND to give them with no problem but with all of this happening we were just completely turned off.. their customer service is DISGUSTING and the way they operate is complete BASURA!! They'll then say it's now deemed unavailable to sell (without reason) and offer you a different car. These people just want to get the most money out of you and sell you cars that you haven't done the research on. The less you know, the less room you have to bargain. I live over an hour away so I had confirmed the day before that the car is still available for my appointment to test drive. Despite knowing I live far away (and probably because I'm young), they still lied about its availability to trick me into buying a more expensive car. No respect for my time especially when today is Mother's Day. Even after telling them my distress in person, the best they could do was offer me a used car for the same price as the new car I was looking at. How ridiculous! If you can't even tell the truth about a car's availability, how am I supposed to trust that you're not trying to rip me off? I recommend not doing business here. I liked the service people, nice clean place, but when I arrived the car I went to see had a dent by the tire and a bubble and they didn't offer to work with me based on that, also reeked of cigarette smoke. Taking your car to get fixed or repaired often seems like a burden and finding someone trust worthy can even be more of a struggle however with Nissan I feel like for the most part they have the customers best interest in mind. I had taken my car in for four brand new tires but within one month I had two flats with those tires. After taking them both and only paying for tax which came out to a few bucks there was no other complications, and I don't believe the flat tire issue was on them. Waiting time: This is the biggest issue I had with them this last time I took my cart in to get my flat taken care of I when in early with only have two people in front of me but somehow I ended up waiting there for about four hours. Even after they told me "all that needed to be done with paperwork" I waited an extra hour! This was, as I was told "they needed to verify things with the company, or something" Either way, over 4 hours to change a tire seems like a very long time. Coffee: I know this is the typical thing you expect to see a review for a car dealership but I just wanted to let you know that they have a new coffee machine with lattes, cappuccinos and other things... and was delicious! This place does business HORRIBLY, their customer service is even WORSE the managers attitude and quickness to blame the customer is astonishing. They sold me a car and within a week a for repoed from an error on their end. It took me a week to get the car back and when I did it was crashed. I feel if my bank didn't step into help me unwind this deal they would not have undone it. The issue was 100% on their end and the manager spoke to me as if I was the one at fault when I also lost out on a car. The corrupt service department added 3,000 more miles to my car just to get it out of warranty. I came in with 34K and they tampered with it to bring it up to 37K. How does my odometer go up 3,000 miles in a matter of minutes?! My 2022 nissan Sentra battery died. It kept saying system malfunction so i took a photo of my dashboard and my mileage read 34,162 (still under warranty) i have photo evidence of this and my car sat there until the tow truck came. I got it towed the 5 miles to the dealership thinking ok great it's still under warranty so whatever the issue is it'll be paid for. My car gets dropped off and the service advisor liseth calls me and says that my car is no longer under warranty and a battery will be $375. She tells me that my odometer is reading 37,361 ! I told her she's incorrect and that my miles are only at 34K. I come up here to speak with the manager Marcos to show proof of that and he doesn't know how this could've happened. So now my car is out of warranty and we know these stupid Nissans are expensive to maintain. The manager offered to give me a free battery and of course he would since I'm sure his people are the ones who messed with my mileage so that i can be out of warranty. I also got a text from the sales department to sell my car since it's high mileage right now this place put 3,000 miles on my car in a matter of minutes and no one knows what happened. Decided to sell my Tacoma after I had purchased a new vehicle , so I had no need it at the moment.
