Worst experience ever!!! So I've been shopping around for a car for awhile and I FINALLY found one that I wanted which was here. First I go to check out the car.. no one helps us for at least 30 mins. Then we check it out cool.. So we talk to JAMES at first. So we are talking numbers and we show him the offer we got off of truecar which was about $200 less then what they asked for which was. So they basically padded the account with over $1800 worth of GARBAGE fees that we KNOW we don't have to pay for. (See image below) so we ask them to remove them because we don't want the security system or the nitrogen in our tires.. JAMES says they aren't going to and we can take it with them added on or leave the car.. literally what he said. So we insist we speak to someone and he bring his "manager" PEDRO. So PEDRO aka PETE isn't really a manager he's a sales consultant.. but never mind that.. so he comes out and says the same thing and REFUSES to remove it. We basically let him know we know the game and those aren't things we HAVE to pay for and he gives in and tells us that they basically put car prices lower to get people in and pad the account so that they can make more money and they won't remove them because they will "loose out" on money if they do.. so with the padded account the car goes from 14,921 to now it's 17800... so we leave. I really REALLY want this car so we go back in and say okay if we can knock it down 17500 I'll take it now.. then PEDRO says "no it wasn't 17800.. it was 18100" lying mfo.. so we left again.. so this time we are driving off and he speeds AFTER us and stops us and says "because I like you how about we give it to you 17800 out the door everything" mind you that's not even a deal but I want the car.. So we go BACK in and he's writing it down and my fiancé asks about warranty which is obviously not included right.. so warranty ends up being another $1300.. so now this car went from 14921 to $19,100?!?!? F@$k that.. so we leave. So two days later JAMES calls my phone and ask me if I want to come look at the car.. completely forgot we were already there. So my fiancé gives him the rundown of what happened last time and while she's talking to him he starts talking to people in the background and is LAUGHING.. you can tell he thought the phone was on mute cause when my fiancé said "are you talking to people in the background right now?" He said hold on and muted the phone so we hung up. This experience was absolute TRASH and that sucks because I was actually going to suck it up and just pay for the car yesterday. Mind you Had a check IN MY HAND to give them with no problem but with all of this happening we were just completely turned off.. their customer service is DISGUSTING and the way they operate is complete BASURA!! Taking your car to get fixed or repaired often seems like a burden and finding someone trust worthy can even be more of a struggle however with Nissan I feel like for the most part they have the customers best interest in mind. I had taken my car in for four brand new tires but within one month I had two flats with those tires. After taking them both and only paying for tax which came out to a few bucks there was no other complications, and I don't believe the flat tire issue was on them. Waiting time: This is the biggest issue I had with them this last time I took my cart in to get my flat taken care of I when in early with only have two people in front of me but somehow I ended up waiting there for about four hours. Even after they told me "all that needed to be done with paperwork" I waited an extra hour! This was, as I was told "they needed to verify things with the company, or something" Either way, over 4 hours to change a tire seems like a very long time. Coffee: I know this is the typical thing you expect to see a review for a car dealership but I just wanted to let you know that they have a new coffee machine with lattes, cappuccinos and other things... and was delicious! Brought in 2022 maxima for routine service (oil change, tire rotation etc) which I still had two more free services under my sales contract. Service Advisor didn't bother to look it up, just tried charging me for it. Then told me I NEEDED to replace transmission and brake fluids. Both these should be done around 30,000 miles. My car has 26,000 and i drive maybe 9000/year. I asked to speak to Service manager so Advisor left for a while then came back with some chart showing fluids should be CHECKED at 15,000 and 30,000 and changed if dirty. He said tech thought it was dirty. My bill went from zero to $600. My time from one to two hours. Service manager never came out to talk. They also charge 3% if you use a credit card. read more

Why I bought another Toyota. After I retired, I decided to take my 2009 Toyota Venza to Raceway Nissan for regular maintenance because it was walking distance from my home. After several years, and taking the car in as scheduled for regular maintenance, I once received a call from the service department telling me that the fuel tank drain was "cross threaded" and the tank would need to be replaced. Without thinking, I told them to proceed. Later, it occurred to me that the only people working on that car for some time (several years) were the service reps at Raceway Nissan. So, I called the dealership, the service manager, the general manager, and the owner over the next several weeks and no one ever returned my calls - in fact their voice mailboxes are full and not taking any messages. So no one there cares to talk to a regular customer. Recently, it was time for me to replace my car and I bought a Toyota because the proximity of Raceway Nissan does not compensate me for the total lack of concern shown about this "mere" $320 issue. Service departments are a profit center for dealerships, but this dealer won't get my business for new cars or service because they have proven that they don't care. I liked the service people, nice clean place, but when I arrived the car I went to see had a dent by the tire and a bubble and they didn't offer to work with me based on that, also reeked of cigarette smoke. Would have taken the dented car, but they refused to acknowledge that in their asking price, also the price online, the price labeled on the car, and the price they asked me for when I sat down in the office were all different. Not trustworthy people. They purposely leave certain cars with seemingly good deals online to lure you to come into the dealership. They'll then say it's now deemed unavailable to sell (without reason) and offer you a different car. These people just want to get the most money out of you and sell you cars that you haven't done the research on. The less you know, the less room you have to bargain. I live over an hour away so I had confirmed the day before that the car is still available for my appointment to test drive. Despite knowing I live far away (and probably because I'm young), they still lied about its availability to trick me into buying a more expensive car. No respect for my time especially when today is Mother's Day. Even after telling them my distress in person, the best they could do was offer me a used car for the same price as the new car I was looking at. How ridiculous! If you can't even tell the truth about a car's availability, how am I supposed to trust that you're not trying to rip me off? I recommend not doing business here. I had an appointment at Raceway Nissan to view and purchase a used vehicle. After first contacting the dealer over the weekend, I made the 2 pm. appointment the following Monday. I was told that the vehicle was still available. I made the hour long drive to the dealer only to find the vehicle was sold earlier in the day. This place does business HORRIBLY, their customer service is even WORSE the managers attitude and quickness to blame the customer is astonishing. They sold me a car and within a week a for repoed from an error on their end. It took me a week to get the car back and when I did it was crashed. I feel if my bank didn't step into help me unwind this deal they would not have undone it. The corrupt service department added 3,000 more miles to my car just to get it out of warranty. I came in with 34K and they tampered with it to bring it up to 37K. How does my odometer go up 3,000 miles in a matter of minutes?! My 2022 nissan Sentra battery died. It kept saying system malfunction so i took a photo of my dashboard and my mileage read 34,162 (still under warranty) i have photo evidence of this and my car sat there until the tow truck came. I got it towed the 5 miles to the dealership thinking ok great it's still under warranty so whatever the issue is it'll be paid for. My car gets dropped off and the service advisor liseth calls me and says that my car is no longer under warranty and a battery will be $375. She tells me that my odometer is reading 37,361 ! I told her she's incorrect and that my miles are only at 34K. I come up here to speak with the manager Marcos to show proof of that and he doesn't know how this could've happened. So now my car is out of warranty and we know these stupid Nissans are expensive to maintain. The manager offered to give me a free battery and of course he would since I'm sure his people are the ones who messed with my mileage so that i can be out of warranty. I also got a text from the sales department to sell my car since it's high mileage right now this place put 3,000 miles on my car in a matter of minutes and no one knows what happened. This review is way over due! This is the most crooked, scummy, dishonest and low down filthy group of garbage peddlers in all of the I.E.!! Avoid going here, let alone buying anything here or don't you dare say that I didn't warn you!! I told them that I was 100% positive that it was a mechanical error and so he made me sign a paper saying that I understand it won't be covered if it was liquid (coffee/soda). Long story short, this was a factory recall that they were denying so they wouldn't lose money! I then made the stupid mistake of listening to the sales Mgr who told me she felt bad and wanted to try and make it up to me by giving me a "great deal " on a new car. I decided to give them a second chance...BIG MISTAKE!!!! Long story short, the brand new Altima HAD THE SAME PROBLEM!!! Not only that but another BOZO tried all of the same tactics AGAIN!! When I got my car back the electrical started going crazy! I took it in and they said it was my fault! After they did their diagnostic they had to admit that they were at fault. So I scheduled an appointment for 4 weeks later. I arrived but was told that someone forgot to order the parts! Three weeks later I show up but someone had sent the parts back to Japan! I returned again four weeks later and guess what/THEY HADN'T ORDERED THE PARTS YET...AGAIN!!! Six months later the car was finally fixed BUT I WAS IN SHOCK AT HOW THEY GAVE IT BACK TO ME!!! BUYER BEWARE. They advertise a car below market value, then they add an unneeded package of features to get you to the price they really intend to sell the car for, once you are there. It's a dishonest, click-bait advertising system to get people to drive to Riverside to try to force features no one asked for, in efforts to equal the true value of the car. The SUV we were interested in has THREE accidents (2 minor & and 1 moderate). The accidents obviously were not listed anywhere when you check the listing. It made sense that the car was priced 2.5K below value, given the accidents! Despite that, we were willing to take a look as some accidents are cosmetic and if fixed well, don't matter IF the car runs wells and price is FAIR. The sales person, Mark, is very professional and kind. They then get you to the point of test driving and during the ride, they casually throw in the fact that they have a "package" that comes included at a cost; an anti-theft system, nitro in the tires and seat treatment protection. AKA - the con is on. The salesperson then hands you over to the "manager" who is polite & smooth talking, and asks if he can make the numbers work, will you drive out with the car. We had a trade-in, our answer was - if the numbers work, yes. The Manager goes back and forth a few times talking to who knows who, then comes back talking about being "honest" about the package and how it comes standard and will try to get it reduced in price.... then at one points returns with a print out of the the bluebook of the car they are selling - assuming it has ZERO accidents.... low and behold the value is around $2.500. more than what they are selling it for. How much is their "package" which was all of a sudden was non-negotiable?? $2,300. Go figure. If I am going to buy a car at market value, I will buy one with ZERO accidents. To top it off they low balled the trade-in claiming cars over 100k are higher risk - I wondered if they really thought we don't get the fact that blue book value INCLUDES and considers the mileage in it's estimated trade in value (you think people are fools and it looks bad on you). He asked us to increase our ability to pay or extend the loan to 7 years to make it work. As they saw we weren't buying the BS they kindly told us to kick rocks and were pretty much done with us. Pedro Perez was an absolute nightmare. I tell him that I'm there for the oil change special that comes with a tire rotation and that I also wanted to check out one of the sensors that flickered randomly. I explained to him that this problem happened the last time right before my car cut off in the middle of the freeway and I was afraid it was going to happen again. Guess what this guy tells me... He asks me about my mileage and I tell him 38 thousand miles. He said "You need the 30k second maintenance for your car. It will fix that issue." So I say " You're telling me that the maintenance package that is made to maintenance the vehicle that is two years old is going to fix an ELECTRICAL PROBLEM?" So I just decline the service and he then tells me to pop my hood.. I'm confused. He places it back and I'm assuming he's thinking the same thing because he didn't say a word. Otherwise that probably would have been his "IN" to reiterate that I needed 30k maintenance on the car. Amy was able to find every way she could to squeeze a penny out of me. She sold me 2 security systems I later found out after reading the paperwork. Ive asked her to give me the information about the security system at the dealership and she failed to do that. Then I've called and asked her and another man to send me information about the security systems and I still don't have any information on them. This dealership is full of swindlers! When the car showed up therw was paint scratches on the hood and front right bumper. Amy said that there was pictures taken of it and I will be able to get the scratches touched up. Our car was burning oil. Raceway was suppose to fix the problem. A few weeks have gone by, check the oil and there was barely any oil. My husband checked the oil after it was serviced and topped the oil off. The car is definitely still burning oil. They either didn't do the work or diagnosed the car incorrectly. I have been calling for the service manager and the general manager neither one returns calls. I get the run around when I call in letting the person answering the phone know I need to speak with one of them. We paid quite a bit of money for the repairs. Anyone who deals with the dealer knows they are expensive. It pitiful we can not trust Raceway to be a honest reputable company. We have been dealing with Nissan for many years. The manager (probably not the same one) use to walk around asking customers how their service experience has been.
