Top notch! Mark replaced the fan, hard drive, and battery in my aging laptop (5 year old Toshiba Satellite). Let me add my 2-cents worth about the great service, great prices and great end results coming from what was a VERY FRUSTRATING problem with my Windows 10 desktop that I spent 3 days trying to fix on my own before I came across Mark. The mouse pointer disappeared overnight. That mouse worked on my laptop and the working laptop mouse also didn't work on the desktop. The DT keyboard continued to work so I had some "control" and could attempt the fixes I found when researching the problem and the suggested fixes I was able to find on the laptop. Nothing worked! I found RAD Computers and within minutes of contacting them, Mark texted me with his phone number---I called him immediately. After explaining the problem over the phone, he said that was becoming a common problem with the latest W-10 update and he'd been working on several others already. We talked price and shop location and I was convinced that's the place to go so the next morning I dropped it off. After going over the problem and potential solution(s), he recommended a Solid State hard-drive replacement that made sense and that he would set up the current large capacity but somewhat flawed HD as an internal back-up that could also be used to back up the laptop--my go-to business device. I brought the lap top in the next morning and by mid-afternoon (1) the desktop mouse pointer problem was solved, (2) the solid state hard-drive was installed, (3) the "old" hard drive was configured to be the back-up to the DT and laptop, (4) the two devices were synced and OF COURSE, (5) all my files, documents, bookmarks, etc. were right where they needed to be--all done in about a 24-hour drop-off to pick-up time-frame! I hope I won't need his services again BUT I know where to go and who to recommend to anyone needing reliable, trustworthy, reasonably priced computer services! read more

Totally saved my butt on a lazy Sunday. I was having some issues with a power supply and knew it was about to go, then as I was getting ready for a day of football, gaming, and beer...my PC totally shut down and I heard a POP! He backed up an original paid for clean up when my desktop did not perform properly after his work on it. He took the computer back and determined that the hard drive was weak and the cause of the after clean up problems I was having with it. mark is great. i told him what i was looking for (a comp to run fallout 4) and that i was oblivious to tech and he hooked me up big time. i also gave him my partner's comp to fix up as a gift for her so that it would at least run skyrim. firstly, i wasn't embarrassed to be a computer noob around him. secondly, he explains loads of stuff to me, which i love. furthermore, i travel and work a lot and mark works around my schedule. he doesn't pressure me or make me feel uncomfortable if i'm taking a while to get back to him due to money or being out of town. likewise, i made sure he knew he could take his time and had no need to rush, but in the one case i needed him to turn something around ASAP he did it within a couple days as promised. he also responds so quickly. when the comps were done he also installed windows 7 and upgraded to 10 at my request in addition to installing all of my steam games, which was sooo convenient for me. mark also prowls for used/sale parts if you want so you can save major bank on your final product, especially if you're patient/not in a hurry and can wait for the juiciest opportunity. i come to him with all of my vaguely tech questions now. mark is super friendly and also hooked me up with the first diablo novel and the original manual + PDFs of the books because he found out i was into blizzard/video game lore. overall, more than i ever thought i'd when prowling on yelp for computer services/help. read more

So I called Mark, who immediately explained what the problem was, over the phone, while remotely checking the settings and age of my computer. He and his assistant Britney, came for an in home repair, and had my computer running better than I knew my computer could run. I have to take my computer back to fix it. Nick fixed it but it stopped working maybe a month later, something related with the hard drive. Nick is not there anymore, he sold it to Mark who used to work for him. I must say that he is carrying Nick's good business values. He listened to what I had to say, he offered to fix it at no cost. He offered a new hard drive, an Internal Solid State Drives (SSD), he ordered it and I paid the amount he was charged for it plus he offered to upgrade the old operating system my computer had to W10 at no extra cost. He took the time to explain to me why a SSD would be a better option than the old one. He also offered the option of fixing the hard drive Nick installed, at no cost. I decided to go with the SSD, best decision ever! My computer is super super fast!! I must say that I'm very happy with the service and professionalism that Mark and his fiance showed. They went above and beyond making sure that I was happy. I am very happy. My computer is fast and is working perfectly. It's a six year old one running like a brand new one. His fiance who is a comp tech as well, called a few days later to check if everything was going fine and that if I had any question. This a local business that you can 100% trust. It's a good feeling knowing that you are not being ripped off and/or taking advantage of if you are not computer savvy. I highly recommend this shop. I highly recommend Mark and RAD Computers. From beginning to end with my repair needs, I felt I could trust him, and his performance and interactions with me validated my intuitive sense. My 2011 HP Pavilion laptop had stopped booting properly, and I needed to decide if I should sink money into a repair or upgrade to a new laptop. Mark was very understanding and personable as he diagnosed the problem for free (failing hard drive), clearly explained how a solid state replacement drive would fix the problem and be quicker and more reliable in the future, quoted me a very fair price for the part and labor to fix the issue and get everything ported over to the new solid state drive ($225), and answered my questions so I could make the decision. He stepped thru and took good notes of everything that needed to be saved from the old drive, offered to upgrade the operating system to Windows 10 (yes, please!), etc. Great communication (email, text, phone), too, about repair status though that was hardly needed as he got the job done in just a couple of business days despite my telling him I was in no hurry at all (as I only use my laptop when traveling, which I was not doing again for another 3 weeks).
