I need to remember that the white Zinfandel here is more of a fruity blush and not something I enjoy. We were also surprised to learn they won't give a split check due to credit card fees, but we figured it out. I'm sure we'll be back next time we're in town.

First thing to note: they have a good happy hour menu. Check it out! I started with the crispy Brussel sprouts, from said happy hour menu. Yum! Add some protein, and that could've been my dinner. Upon my server's recommendation, I ordered the rigatoni and sausage... was it good? Well, I was pouted for about 20 minutes when I realized the leftovers were left behind on the hotel room fridge after I checked out and was halfway to Denver. Yeah. Saucy, a lil creamy and top notch Italian sausage. Yum. It started pouring rain as I was about to leave, so I pasted time by splurging on some tiramisu. Was it the best I've ever had? I don't think so, but I finished the whole thing, so it was clearly still quite good. All in all recommend!

We wanted Italian food and definitely were not disappointed in our choice. It was very busy and outside dining was not a choice because of rain. We were flexible and took a seat along an area by the bar. Our experience didn't suffer as a result. Our server was very busy; however, she was attentive and took time to answer our questions and check on us during our meal. We started with cocktails. My dirty martini came out perfectly dirty and with the three olives I requested. Once we ordered, it did not take too long before our meals arrived. They were perfectly hot, generous in proportion and very flavorful. My Linguine Fra Diavolo was spiced nicely and surprisingly had many shrimp. My partner ended up bringing some of her ample meal home (hotel). We were honestly too full to get dessert, although the options sounded delicious. An odd thing for us was the lack of bread to accompany our meals. We could not think of a time when an Italian meal wasn't served without a bread. Nonetheless, our meals were great. Was the meal a little pricey? Yes. Was it delicious? Yes. Would I go back if I was in the area? Definitely.

Solid menu, lots of tasty offerings, many restaurants would be jealous. But your name and your decor are yelling "Pizza!", so tighten it up. 3 apps, 3 salads, all the pizzas, 1 page. No flipping the menu to the backside. One side, that's confidence in your kitchen. And put those Detroit Pizzas right in the middle in bold! Get rid of the pasta (let others do that), get rid of the sandwiches. I love a meatball sandwich just as much as the big boys, but it doesn't belong here. Maybe as a weekend lunch special, off the menu, for locals only. You feel it? Alright, that's food. Drinks...you have a solid bar setup, a good long lineup of beers. Pizza and beer, doesn't get better than that. So why are $5 margaritas getting the marketing attention? Have you had a margarita with an excellent slice? No, cuz that's not where margaritas shine. Pizza and beer, trust the combo. The dudes running the joint when my lady friend and I showed up as the only diners were good fellas. Charming, funny, the right amount of interaction to be additive, not annoying. Good tunes (Johnny Cash). Choice of old school Maradona Argentina soccer or Tyler Perry's Madea on the screens. Ok. My $10 tip ended up being about 26% of the actual bill. The service was good, and I'm happy to tip for good service. But how much I tip should be my choice. If suggested tips are based on the pre-discount total, that should be clearly disclosed instead of presenting it in a way that can mislead customers. As for the food, everyone has different tastes. The bison was perfectly cooked and completely out of this world. The side dishes were excellent as well, and our waiter took great care of us throughout the evening. There was a large party at the bar, and it became so loud that we practically had to yell just to have a conversation. Another disappointment was the bread service. Compared to other steakhouses, it really fell short. Hopefully Legends improves this in the future, because everything else was fantastic.
