    Pork rib chop
    Scott T.

Stunned. Corn chowder with bone marrow was a first for us and so good. Get the pork rib chop; huge portion with the fat cap on it, intensity balanced by the milder corn polenta. Also amazing were the ribeye and the sautéed mushrooms. Service impeccable, vibe pitch perfect with soul music gradually getting more laid back as closing hour approaches. Best meal I've had in Santa Fe and and 100% on our list to return next time we're in town.

Outstanding service, wonderful food, and the ambiance is world class. Love this place. Attaching a few (iPhone) pictures, which do not do this place justice, but the owners and staff really have a special thing going here with how they've architected a very warm, balanced, end to end experience without feeling too up tight or pretentious. If we lived closer by, we'd be here all the time.

I loved this place. When we walked in the ambiance was so peaceful and beautiful. The service was excellent as they have many people in addition to your waiter pouring water, clearing plates, etc. It does not have a large menu but the food was delicious. We had charred snapper, shrimp, corn chowder, etc. Before you go, I would recommend you look at the menu and make sure there are things that you would enjoy. Also, check the prices as it is not cheap. My son and his family took us there to celebrate my birthday and we loved the experience!

Our best meal in Santa Fe! Every course was incredibly good, I wish we had a spot like this in LA and am honestly surprised this restaurant isn't on more "best of Santa Fe" lists. We started with the farm greens, pork belly, and brussel sprouts. I have never raved so much over a salad but the flavors were so good I almost ordered a second one for the table. My partner and I shared the ribeye for our main and was blown away by the quality and flavor. For dessert we had the churros (which are gluten free!!) and they were so delicious. And on top of the incredible food, all of our drinks were amazing. Highly recommend!

Went here for my birthday dinner with family, dropped some serious cash, and it was worth every penny. We shared several appetizers/small plates and each had our own entree, all of which were stellar. My parents both had the flat iron steaks with red chile Demi which was beautiful. My husband got the trout, but the standout on his dish was the green chile corn pudding for sure. Get a side of that if it doesn't have to grace your plate. I got STELLAR shrimp and grits, which is saying something in a land locked state that is NOT in the south. Full disclosure I am a professional server and I've staged at R&R, so I know their level of professionalism extends to the kitchen and beyond. It shows. Don't miss out.

fried green tomatoes with a dollop of pimento cheese.

Wait staff is friendly so that would be 5 stars, food is good and above sysco quality so that's 5 stars....but they charge $14 for an appetizer of 2 thin breaded & fried green tomatoes slices. Not even a half of a tomato for $14. That is insane. By their math, an entire tomato would cost between $30- $45 dollars. Don't let the pic with 3 slices fool you, it's from their instagram page and there are definitely not 3 slices when you order- there are only 2 slices...and it's $14.

    Cocktail menu! Wow

Everything was fantastic! The waiter was fabulous the drink we had (abuelito) was one of the best cocktails we have ever had! (Trust me We've had many) we smoked dark tobacco like a Manhatten but Smokey flavor from Tabasco! Wow! Everything good drawer. The corn soup was incredible with bone marrow! Wow awesome place! I'll be back! Yay

Our first dinner in Sante Fe. The service was great. The menu was awesome and the food was stunning! And, yes, if you enjoy bourbon.... They have the one you want!!

My new favorite restaurant in Santa Fe. So many great places and for some reason we haven't been here before! You know we sat at the bar and had the best service from Ashley. The drinks flowed with amazing skill and attention. Starting with the Fried Green tomatoes with pimento cheese is a must. I had the Roasted Beet salad that had some kind of magical dressing that had me questioning having a second one instead of an entree. It was that good! I then had the trout that was light and perfectly balanced and cooked to perfection. Dan had the pork chop that was an ample portion that did not disappoint. To add to the amazing food and service, the music was the chefs personal Pandora Station that we downloaded. This restaurant has the perfect ambience to go with the perfect night! Thank you Ashley for recommending The Milk of The Poppy. Awesome bar! Radish & Rye is perfection.

    Fried Green Tomatoes

I've eaten at quite a few exceptional restaurants in Santa Fe so my expectations were set fairly high. We started with the southern fried tomatoes and corn chowder. The tomatoes tasted more like fried pickles. The shredded pepper garnish had more flavor than the tomatoes and the batter that they were coated in. The corn chowder was probably the best dish I tasted that evening. Good consistency, mild richness, a little sweet and the smoked bone marrow complimented it well by adding a savory touch. For my entrée I ordered the lamb rib chops. I was disappointed because I expected better quality. Every bite was excessively fatty, while the whipped feta and lemon potatoes accompanying the lamb were overly tangy. The sharp lemon flavor in addition to the tart feta overpowered the lamb. While my companion enjoyed his pan-fried trout; to me most of the flavors that evening were unbalanced and the poor quality of my lamb was off-putting. I don't think I will be returning. Pros: - Server was very attentive - Best for dinner with friends Cons: - This is supposed to be a southern style restaurant, but I couldn't find the southern influence in any of the dishes I had that evening. - Ambience was nice, however we were sat at a table that was awkwardly placed in the main aisle (felt like I was sitting on I-95). Every time a server walked past; I was constantly getting bumped. Be sure to request a table along the window.

Kentucky butter cake and buttermilk ice cream

Amazing! Southern food but very refined...we pork spare ribs and fried green tomatoes as appetizers were both good but ribs were the standout. Blackened sea bass and chicken and waffles for main, outstanding. Sides of duck fat roasted potatoes and collard greens which were stars in their own right. And don't miss dessert! Kentucky butter cake was moist s as nd delicious and was great paired with buttermilk ice cream. Service from being seated through to the end was top notch. Lovely decor and big bonus of having a parking lot!

Amazing food--I ordered the beat salad and snapper with butter rice and blue crab. It was divine. The service was on point; friendly without being intrusive. The ambiance is great with bourbon barrels used throughout the restaurant. Great bourbon list. Highly recommend while in Santa Fe. Was able to walk over from my room in the Historic plaza.

My husband ordered the Guajillo Braised Boneless Short Ribs, which were cooked to perfection--tender, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. In my case, the scallops were slightly overcooked and a bit tough, and the corn purée was a little too spicy for my personal taste. The fry bread and the Picuris salad were excellent and truly memorable. The restaurant is located inside the beautiful Hotel Santa Fe and offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere, with a wood-burning fireplace and a very friendly staff. The décor is artistic and thoughtfully curated, honoring Native American culture, which I deeply appreciated and which gives the space a unique and special identity. Happy New Year!

Also make sure to check the bill and if anything seems off, ask there! Thankfully the restaurant was able to explain the bill after we had left where there were errors (we were charged the $75 teepee fee plus a 20% service charge that included the teepee, drinks, and food). Overall though the food was good. We had a newer waiter that was unfamiliar with the process so that was aggravating but overall the food was delicious. We did the set $90 price fix menu. The quail was the best part. My fiancé was upset because his entree was cold but at least the other three of us had warm food. I do recommend if you want this experience to go just make sure to double check some items !

I started with what I thought was going to be a plain Caesar salad, but when it arrived, it was served like a sushi or lettuce wrap. It was very creative and tasty! It made it much more fun to eat than the average salad. It was rich and topped with anchovies, like a true Caesar salad. I then had the peppercorn Elk tenderloin. I asked it be served as the chef recommended, which is medium rare. I am sometimes wary of medium rare, but this tenderloin was DIVINE! It was so moist and bursting with flavor. I loved it. The cocktails were creative and just as enjoyable as the meal. Other options for dinner apps include: cornbread, ahi crudo, mussels, and bison carpaccio. Mains: scallops, pan roasted Branzino, toasted masa gnocchi, grilled Maine lobster tails, duck leg confit, and a pecan coffee rubbed prime flat iron. I'm sure all of them would be amazing. Reservations recommended. Please note that the rooftop bar does not take reservations and is not on the same system as the restaurant. Can't recommend this restaurant enough.
