I was so excited to go and was disappointed. Fast food style service. Great building. People were nice. Expected more.

Last week Friday, 04.17.2026, my colleagues and I stopped by for lunch and the ambiance was a little loud but not too loud that you can't hear each other talking. The atmosphere was like you were in a little taco down in Cali and it was super clean. The food was fresh and delicious! The service was great n attentive. I'd recommend this place!

The food is a little on the pricey side, but worth it. I haven't had a bad experience yet and everyone that I bring here has loved every bite. The staff are kind, courteous, attentive, and as always welcoming. The art was done by an employee and adds a hip vibe to the place as well. If you're into cars they are always working on exotic Lamborghinis, Ferraris, or Porsches through the glass garage door.

Rafelitos is a must stop for real deal Mexican food. Family friendly service and fare prices for the food. Their Jamaica is one of my favorites.

I came in at about 1:00pm and placed an order in house with a margarita. My order of carne asada with one chicken came out promptly but the food was cold. The margarita was amazing. I didn't complain about the food b/c one of my co-workers warned me. With me being out of town I still figured I would give it a try. I was very disappointed with the food. I would only go back for the drinks.

Sopas so good. The masa was delicious. I was craving my auntie's sopas and this compares to how she makes her masa and cooks it up.

The food is very very good. The flavors were right on. And actually appreciate the location.

Rafelitos was the 2nd stop on our impromptu Black Friday, bar crawl. We arrived a few hours before closing. It was my first time visiting the space since Fire Island Bakery AND my beloved Vib Cycle departed. The fence in the parking area seemed petty but, I know how busy the surrounding breweries get, so I get it. To call the interior eye catching, would be an understatement. The cultural murals in this space seem to almost tell a story. The tiles in the bathrooms are also not to be missed. Love the overall decor and vibes, for sure. Rafelitos reminds me of Originale (pay and tip before food + drinks). They had one margarita that was wine based, we got a few of those and enjoyed them. Different, yes, but tasty and satisfactory. Most of the Rafelitos menu is a la carte. Expensive, but I was here for the experience...and to yap. I ordered 3 seafood (salmon, shrimp, halibut) tacos, and their key lime pie. The tacos were fresh, and had great presentation. The key lime pie was fresh out of the oven. All the staff were kind and accommodating. My friend and I yapped till we were the last customers in the building. The staff didn't seem to mind. I can't say that I would go out of my way to come here again (when there are places like Serranos and Las Margaritas), but my first experience definitely went without hiccup.

I really enjoyed Rafelitos! The staff were friendly, the tables/floors were clean, and the food was delicious. I had the 3 tacos - chicken, brisket, and carne asada. All were great but the carne asada was amazing! I will get 3 of those next time. The tacos are definitely small but there's a lot of meat on each one. I do wish they gave you more than 12 chips with the order. For the price you're paying, you should at least receive a small basket of chips. I still left decently full, but I can see how plenty of people could eat that and leave hungry still. I would come back just for the carne asada tacos. They were heavenly!

Amazing Mexican Food at Rafelitos in Anchorage! I recently visited Rafelitos, a fantastic Mexican restaurant located on W 91st Ave off King Street. They serve authentic traditional Mexican food, and the atmosphere is modern and inviting. The restaurant also has a small bar area with a few beers on tap and delicious margaritas, perfect for unwinding while waiting for an order. I ordered food to-go and decided to try their guacamole and chips, along with a variety of street tacos since they had so many tempting options. While waiting, I enjoyed a fantastic margarita at the bar. When I finally got the order, I could not wait to get home to taste the tacos. Let me tell you, I was blown away! My absolute favorite was the Pastor "El Jerry" Taco, the combination of tender pork, adobo de la casa, and pineapple was out of this world. The flavors were bold, balanced, and incredibly satisfying. The service was top-notch and the staff was eager to answer any questions you had regarding the menu. If you're looking for amazing, authentic Mexican food in Anchorage, Rafelitos is a must-visit! I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu.

Found this place thru tik tok and it did not disappoint! I had the al pastor quesadilla, green salsa was ok but the mild red salsa was extremely good. My husband had the al pastor burrito which was equally good! Will definitely be back!

A great spot to try but not return to. First off the ambience is great. Outdoor seating, garage doors and vibrant art. The place is a real gem. Urban, cool. Kind of small inside. Service is alright, not bad but also not extraordinary. The food is mostly good with the pork belly tacos being a real highlight. Horchata is refreshing with a pleasant taste of real cinnamon. Tripas tacos are not worth getting and I say this as a tripas fan. Carne asada is good, nice and crisp with a great greasiness. Al pastor is awesome and you can see it cooking in its traditional upright fashion. The Señor corn is sweet but not at all like a normal elote and I think it's lacking. Overall the place is good it's just incredibly pricy. $8 for a pork belly taco and $7.50 for a single tripas taco. For two people and a total of four tacos, corn, chips & salsa and two non alcoholic drink with tip came to $65 It's a cute place but not worth the price tag for tacos.

3 tacos, rice and beans. Modelo beer.

I had to wait an hour for my food. The food was super tasty but the wait was a long and had the same promotional video from TikTok playing over and over. It was late so they didn't have music playing to create an ambiance. The place should have more indoor sitting for when the weather is bad outdoors.

    Great ambience!

They kept not coming up in the IG search results...weird. I initially was worried they went out of business because it said their IG page was down. I warned the birthday girl that maybe that had suddenly closed and joked "unless I'm blocked, lol" to which she replied "they blocked you!" So weird and so sad. Never in my 267 brewery reviews on Yelp has a brewery blocked me from their IG. (that I know of, lol) My only interactions with them on IG are to re-share their reels so my friends know what beers they have on tap or what food truck is out front. I guess if I had to guess it would be that my 3-star review about their being the only brewery in Anchorage that doesn't allow you to taste their beer first must've struck such a nerve that they researched to find what IG account is connected to my Yelp account, and then blocked me. Really disappointing, I always thought the owner/brewer seemed cool but I guess he has thin skin. Their Anchorage-style Pilsner is still one of the best beers in town, hopefully I'll get a pint tonight. Last night I had a west coast IPA and a Cold IPA. Both were good. The fact that you have 3 different IPAs on tap combined with a 3 drink limit by the state of Alaska...really speaks to why tastes are helpful. Still the worst name of any brewery.
