Close to my house and Chef Rafo will personaly make sure you are happy. Yes sometimes it may take a bit because it is a family restaurant, so just be part of the family and everything will be okay.. I order here at least once week. The kabobs are great . The pizza is even better. Even the pasta is outstanding. I've had most of the menu and have never had a bad meal. Do yourself a favor try the Quattro Formaggi Pizza I add Italian sausage it's one of the best pizzas I've ever had. read more

People, Rafo's Cafe is the best Mediterranean Restaurant/Cafe in the Burbank, Glendale area. If you ever try this food you would not order your Kebab or Pizza elsewhere. The food here is always fresh prepared with TLC from scratch, very flavorful and made to order. Anyone saying anything negative or giving this place less than 5 stars probably doesn't know this kind of food. Ever since I discoverer this little cafe, I avoid eating elsewhere; if I am less than 30 minutes from here I wait and delay my lunch or dinner just to order from Rafo's Cafe which is the next best thing to home made food. Btw, I just found out they even deliver in the neighborhood which is great for weekends since they are open anyway. Great Pizza for entertaining guests. It is better than you expect from a cafe. Very friendly staff and super reasonable prices add to the pleasure having their food; who doesn't mind paying less for more? I love it. read more

Offensive and racist. My husband has been here several times to pick up, but tonight it was cold so I called to see about delivery. They said it was minimum $15 so I said okay I would call back. We decided on our order and I called back. After he tells me our order comes to about $17 he proceeds to ask me if I am Armenian or Persian. I said, "no". Filipino? "No", I said, "I'm Japanese". He says where do you live? So after i tell him he says hold on. He comes back and says that I need to order more in order to have delivery. So I told him we would order a side of hummus which would bring our order to about $20. He says, no, you need to order more like a side of dolmas for $5.99. I told him you said $15 was the minimum for delivery. His response was "you live too far". Wow, really? Needless to say I did not order. read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible service. I don't usually review places but i felt compelled to here. Sitting here right now. Only one other person waiting when I came in. Took over 45 minutes to get a Greek Salad after they served half a dozen other people who came in after me (including two other Greek Salads!). Even then, I had to go and ask and they looked at me like I was inconveniencing them. No apology. And after all that, the food is mediocre. Never, ever again! read more

We love Rafo's! Best pizza in Burbank, and the sandwiches are large and excellent. The doner pizza is fantastic, served with creamy garlic sauce. Margarita with spinach also excellent, but the thin crust makes for a nice pie no matter the toppings. Great value! We love the guys working there too! read more

Pretty slow service , I had the beef kebab sandwich, was under cooked, took 30 min!, didn't have baguettes so they gave it to me on a pita bread, I also ask for a bit of garlic sauce on the side and of course they wanted to charge me a dollar extra for pretty much a spit of sauce, so I refused, paid my bill wich is overpriced for what they serve compared to other kebab places, never going back again, oh and it doesn't look so clean and non of the cooks use anything for hair fall protección, lady on the counter was nice, that's it! read more

Visited Rafo's Cafe today, the cook had a friend visit him and they were chatting away while I sat there waiting for my sandwich. I was the only one in the restaurant for about 10 mins and the guy was chatting away with his friend. he finally put my sandwich together in less than a minute, I asked him why it took so long an he said he forgot to make my sandwich because he was talking with his friend, no apology.
