Very was. very good food, our waiter's service was excellent and the ambience is Green Valley's best.

So we are not locals, and I saw Raggazzi's, I thought good can this place be in Arizona. Boy, I was wrong. Great food, service (Nick & Jerry), and atmosphere. We always enjoy dinner here. Great, attentive waitstaff. We had reservations so quickly seated. We have enjoyed the shrimp/asparagus dish, the lasagna, lobster ravioli and many of the chicken and veal dishes. Ambiance is nice for a dinner date. Overall a good restaurant in the Green Valley area. read more

I'm from out of town and have visited twice. First for dinner and then this last for a Sunday lunch. Dinner was served in the bar area and was really wonderful, service was good, the waiter was charming and attentive, a bit distracted (which was expected) when it got busy. Food was delicious and the Prosecco was refreshing. My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and looked forward to coming back. The next meal was lunch in a Sunday afternoon. We sat in the main dining room. The ambiance was less than spectacular, but service was good, portions appropriate for the meal. My mother loved the shrimp scampi and I liked the pette de pollo Marsala, which was just a tad overdone but flavorful. The limoncello cake was delicious ii, by the way, so thank you very much for that. Overall, I enjoyed each visit. The staff is always professional and friendly and the food enjoyable. read more

Just so darn good! I ordered the Asparagi E Gamberi , Shrimp sautéed in a white wine sauce over fettuccini. Nicholas was our waiter. So impressed with both the service and food. I was in the restaurant business for many years. read more

My wife and I had a birthday dinner there over the weekend. The food and service was impeccable! The staff was attentive without being intrusive. And the food was to die for! The restaurant was very busy and ambiance was like eating at a big dinner at a close friend and family's house. The tiramisu is the best I've ever had but I can say that about everything that we ordered. read more

From the linen tablecloths, the friendly and prompt service and the excellent food, Ragazzi is 5 star dining all the way. There are other Italian restaurants in Green Valley but they cannot hold a candle to Ragazzi. Whether eating in the restaurant or taking out, the quality is amazingly mouthwatering. We have been there eating at this restaurant for the last couple of years. We have notice the following: 1. It seems like the wait staff is constantly changing. You never see the same faces. Either the working conditions are horrible, or the kids are not interested in waiting tables. 2. After being a customer for a couple of years, we made a reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Upon entering, we were met by the owner and I told him that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. I assumed that since were were there as returning customers, and there for a special occasion that the owner would present us with a small desert on the house. But no. No desire to appreciate customers who chose his restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. 3. Most recently, my wife and I went there in the afternoon on a Sunday. Outside the main door was a sandwich sign that advertised a specific bottle of wine for $25.00. After being seated by the owner, I requested this bottle of wine. He said, "oh that's our happy hour price, happy hour is over. I guess I should have brought in the sign." I said, "you're advertising that price and that's what I would like." He said nothing, stared at me then walked away. 4. The menus are dirty, as well as the oil and vinegar dispensers. They feel oily and greasy. So, It makes one wonder. Is the back of the house (kitchen) as dirty as the front of the house? So, a couple of things you can expect. The owner doesn't value long term customers. Further, he and the rest of the staff lacks friendliness and customer service skills. And finally, I believe he is money hungry and very cheep. read more

Dining room was stuffy and smoke filled for lunch! Hostess attributed it to because they had been cooking all morning! LOL! Fortunately we were seated near the bar in a corner with a ceiling fan that was working. Server was very prompt and polite. Food arrived quickly. Regarding lunch for a group on July 26. I tried mailing a letter of complaint to 2 addresses listed on their website. Both returned with USPS "return to sender" yellow label. Addresses are also correct per their business license. Did not want to resort to social media, but since I can't even post an independent comment on their Facebook page, I am resorting to this public post. See photo of letter regarding 3 of 10 meals being served after the others were finished eating (and one was an appetizer which was served absolutely last; charging for broken V&O decanter; and dirty/oily V&O decanters. 2 stars instead of 1 because the food is always good here. For several people in the party, this was their first visit. They will not be returning. read more

The place feels like a dungeon. We looked at the tattered menus just long enough to have dried out bread plopped on our table. The menu is typical Americanized Italian. When I noticed the spaghetti and meatballs was $18.95 I laughed. Ridiculous. What seemed may be palatable ran $22-28, but there was NOTHING I couldn't whip up at home with simple ingredients. I'm not cheap, but for their prices I should get an ocean view. Nothing on the menu looked good enough to bother ordering. We left immediately in search of tacos. read more

We had scallops and shrimp in a spicy romanesca sauce - it was wonderful! Service was good - the server was friendly and very knowledgeable. We have had this several times now and love it. However, the last time we went it was listed as a special - I failed to check the price and the server didn't mention it when we asked about the special. I do enjoy eating here and so I brought five friends to experience a nice meal in Green Valley. I heard no complaints about the food. Great as always. My go to dish is the cioppino with the egg plant parmesan as back up. Rayna was gracious as ever. However my friends did comment about how many times she came over with another report about how customers said Ragazzi's this or that was the best. A couple of examples is plenty. Too many and I tend to avoid coming as often as I'd like. Don't get me wrong. She's a precious woman and I love the food there. read more

Wow we found this little Italian place while walking around in the Farmers market on Wednesday , what a nice quiet and calming atmosphere that was inside. It was worth the wait. Even though they take reservations, we still waited close to an hour. Met some very nice people while waiting. They claimed they were short staffed. The hostess was also waitressing on her first night but she seemed to be very efficient! Once seated and waited on , service was pretty good. Didn't matter, we were in no big hurry. We enjoyed the absolute best Chilean Sea Bass we''ve ever had. Service was spot on, servers were attentive without hovering, atmosphere was great...it felt like we were in an old Italian Bistro. Ragazzi's has been a family owned business for 25 years. Mothers Day was busy but we didn't feel rushed, we had an awesome experience and will definitely be back. We avoid Italian restaurants as a rule. Too many trips to Italy have spoiled our pallets regarding Americanized Italian cuisine. This establishment is the real deal. We have enjoyed the Osso Bucco, Linguini & Clams, Veal Piccata & more. All simply delicious & could be served in Italy with pride. Highly recommended. read more
