Stressed out? Angry? Having a bad day? Then I recommend you try Ragescape and break some stuff. Location is in Oceanside not far from the 5 freeway In a little strip mall with some other businesses and restaurants. Parking was easy and convenient. They recommend getting there 15 minutes before your start time to fill out the waiver, watch the safety video, and put on the safety gear. You don't want to eat into your scheduled rage time. They also have escape rooms and paint rooms in addition to the rage room. Staff was friendly and helpful. The safety gear included helmet with a visor, gloves, overalls. You can use your phone to take videos and photos, and hook up to the speaker so you can play your own music. The basic package is 20 minutes and you get to break 12 bottles And 6 ceramics. It was plenty of you go slow And break 1 at a time but you can buy extra breakables if need be. And there are tires that you can bang on if you run out of breakables. There are a plethora of weapons to use to destroy the breakables (shovels, bat, crowbar, mallets, pipe wrench, etc). Photos and videos attached. read more

Loved my recent experience at Ragscape! A friend and I wanted to let loose and just be kids again so we booked their Paint Splatter Room. What an absolutely fun experience! 10/10!!! The staff and owners are so friendly. They really love what they do and it shows. You get coveralls, a clear poncho, goggles, and shoe covers to help protect your clothes and hair. Highly recommend wearing clothes you don't mind messing up just in case, but the paint is washable. And another tip is to fill out the waiver before you arrive. That makes check in a breeze. You are given several buckets of neon colored paint that glows in the black light of the room. And you can just paint everything you see!!!! The walls, the mirror, the chair, people, the door. I loved that we could bring our phone inside to capture the fun moments. You also get to be your own DJ and connect your streaming music to the rooms Bluetooth. There is also a cardstock canvas you can paint and take home as a keepsake (the paint takes a while to dry). We blasted music, danced, sang, painted our hearts out. I kept turning to my friend saying "this is SO much fun!" The paint is "gooey" and on EVERYTHING in the room, so that's just a heads up in case textures bother you. After we were done, we threw our coveralls in the hamper and walked away! Didn't have to clean up a thing! We had dinner at the Peruvian restaurant in the same shopping complex. Had a fun time here on an afternoon with a group of ladies. Staff did a great job explaining the rules, safety precautions, what to expect, how to know when our time was up, etc. Love that they made it easy to play and change our music while all suited up in the gear and gloves by providing a protective case for the phone, and a stylus for easy control. It is a pricier activity but it makes sense when you consider the operational costs. Would recommend for a special event group outing! The room was a lot smaller than I expected. Six people was a lot for the room we were in so I'd recommend a smaller group so you don't have to be as careful about getting in someone's way. We held back and were a little cautious wielding weapons and all had to take turns throwing glass at the wall and smashing items and whatnot to avoid accidentally hurting one another. The package we purchased included a few cases of mostly beer bottles, wine bottles, and liquor bottles, but we did get to each pick two items from their more premium item cabinet that had more delicate glass like teacups, wine glasses, and dishes. They have an optional video add-on so you can watch back your rage experience as well! read more

We went for my son's birthday, and he and his friends had a great time! We paid for 3 medium size add-ons which were bigger items than I was expecting. It was our first time at a rage room so we didn't know what to expect, but the whole place was well planned out to make for a great experience - thorough safety video, plenty of sizes of protective gear, pick your own music and even a stylus to use your phone while wearing the big gloves, offers to take your group's photo etc. We'll have to go back so my younger son can try the paint splatter room since he wasn't old enough for the rage room. read more

Drove all the way from San Diego because we wanted a place that specialized in rage rooms. This place definitely does that! The customer service was a bit lacking and we started our experience about 15-20 minutes after the reserved time but they were also super busy that day, so I guess it's okay. Their online add-ons are worth it. They explained the instructions well (although unenthusiastically). It definitely seemed like it was the end of their day. Great experience! They are very well organized and love the set up. I would definitely go back again. So worth the money and experience! We got to play our playlist and the room was spacious. We had enough room to swing and get out of the way. We also could set up our items where we wanted in the room. We had one big item and many small items. This place is so great! If you've never been to a rage room before, I highly highly recommend it. We brought our 12 and 14 year old nephews here and it's so much fun to just have a safe and fun place to let go of all the pent up frustration etc that we all walk around with all day. It is such a fun, healthy release of emotion and it definitely makes great family photos/videos. We've been to another Rage Room in San Diego, which was also fun but Ragescape had a couple of advantages - the location is great and parking is easy. The staff was available to answer questions and really friendly/helpful (Thanks Leo and Tyler). Also, the sessions here can either include stuff to break or you can bring your own OR BOTH. Love that there is a rage room in north county! My friend booked us a session to let off some steam. The staff were so welcoming and nice! We got 12 glass bottles to throw and 3 points to pick from the closet (I chose 1 plate and a keyboard my friend chose 3 plates). They make sure to cover you all up with gear so glass does not hurt you. It gets really warm once you're inside! We had a blast with our 20 minute session.
