1st time here in years. Fast friendly, place is clean... food is hot and fresh! General chicken combo good!

Sesame chicken and pork fried rice, chicken lo mein (no vegetables)

Ordered food through DoorDash. First time ordering from here and receive my food ridiculously fast. Followed my special request of no veggies in the lo mein. Pretty good. Ordered sesame chicken, chicken lo mein, wonton soup and chicken teriyaki. Wonton soup was ok. Didn't care much for the chicken teriyaki but otherwise it was pretty good.

My food was so good love everything about this place the sweet tea is amazing and the egg rolls are my favorite chicken is cooked to perfection

I don't know why, but Mom wanted to have Chinese for dinner and "quick-order" Chinese to boot. Mom went with a chicken and broccoli. She's been here before so she knew to ask for the broccoli "well done" since it's usually rather crunchy. I ordered a simple pork lo mein, sticking to a classic that they would have no problem preparing. And yes, it was done nicely with plenty of pork in there and the pork fried rice with it was excellent. A little hot mustard and we were at perfect. The restaurant isn't fancy and it isn't somewhere to look for "traditional" or "authentic" Chinese but it is definitely classic "Americanized Chinese" and that is perfectly okay.

This supposed to Mongolian beef. It looks like MONGOLIAN ONIONS.

Ok so Covid household so we ordered door dash and picked rainbow garden for the 4.7 star reviews. We had sweet n sour chicken. My dil and granddaughter had this but for $11 the serving was small. My son ordered Mongolian beef but it was 1 pound of white onions, a sprinkling of green onions(had to look for them) and maybe 4oz. of beef. SERIOUSLY! NO LIE! We had to look for the meat! It should be called MONGOLIAN ONIONS! The wings were crispy but really small. Normally Chinese restaurant wings are huge. These were small. $8 for 4 small wings. The hot n sour soup was good but had no meat(pork and chicken strips are a mainstay) and no tofu. Flavor was good. There were plenty of wontons in the wonton soup so that was nice. But for $51 it was DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT! Chinese food has always been affordable but this was ridiculous.

Our Chinese spot close by the house! Always very clean inside with fresh, cooked to order Chinese. They have a clean flavor profile and always hits the spot. The family special is a great option that will leave you with plenty left over. They also have a diet menu. Overall, if you want a clean establishment with fresh takeout (or eat in) Chinese, this place won't upset you. Definitely worth a try.

Beware...this METAL shaving was in my lo mein. It' 1.25 inch long.

Never again. Got house special lo mein. Tasted good until I found myself chewing on a 1.25" metal shaving. Had I swallowed it, it was sharp enough to lacerate my esophagus, intestine, etc. I have reported this to the health dept. Eat here with CAUTION. Picture has been uploaded as proof.

There's nothing but nasty bland over cooked rice, onions, and 4 pieces of Chicken. Chicken Fried Rice ladies and gentlemen.

I've only been to the Chesapeake location, and I love their food, so this was my first time trying the food at the VB location. I was quickly greeted as soon as I walked in and was seated right away. I loved the clean and modern decor of the restaurant. My server was super friendly and brought over the menu. I knew I wanted the Wonton in Hot Chili Oil but I also wanted to try the Dan-Dan Noodles here, because I wasn't a fan of them at the other location, so I ordered both of those along with Salt & Peppered Prawns. The food was served fairly quickly. I started with the Wontons but there was something in the chili oil that made my mouth extremely tingly and numb. I normally get a slight tingly feeling when I eat them but this was intense. I couldn't even finish it. The Dan-Dan Noodles were incredible though! They had the perfect amount of flavor and spice. The Salt & Peppered Prawns were good, but I probably won't order them again. The flavors were great but the seasoning is only on the shells. I found myself rubbing the de-shelled shrimp on the seasoned shells to give them some flavor. I did attempt to eat them with the shells on but I wasn't a fan. You really can't go wrong at Judy's! The staff were incredible and the food is good!!! I still prefer the Chesapeake location but I'm glad I was able to stop in and try the food out at this location as well.

Well, I had an incredible lunch experience at Wang Jiang Lou that made my day! It all began with the warm welcome, followed by incredible service table side and even as I left the team made me feel good (More later!). Whoever designed this restaurant knows something about creating an escape from the world experience. The paneling, table settings, lighting, and every inch of the dining area allowed me to take a deep breath escaping from a hectic hot and humid Virginia Beach weekday hustle! The $16 lunch is a bargain! Offering several impressive entrees plus soup. I am extremely particular about Hot and Sour soup and this bowl was delicious with a subtly of flavors and a pleasant silky texture. I consumed every last drop and returned a clean bowl! I chose Yu Xiang Pork as my entree, which my waitress said was one of the top two favorites along with the pork belly. She said she would give the Yu Xiang Pork the edge. She was right because I loved this dish! I like heat and this offered heat. I like varied texture and this had a range of textures. I want flavor that makes you eat everything served and this delicious lunch offering succeeded. For the price I was so impressed with the variety of mushrooms!! The cherry on top for this visit (No, I didn't get an ice cream sundae.) was the warm thank you's PLURAL that I received from the people up front as I left. Their smiles were beaming at me and they genuinely made me feel like they were happy I came in for a $16 lunch. I said with a wink that I was going to the kitchen to see if they would provide the same smiles of thanks and was told that they would (No, I didn't go to find out.). Clearly a great team serving delicious food in an awesome setting made me wish I lived in Virginia Beach but then I stepped outside into the heat, humidity and hectic world that this FIVE STAR restaurant named Wang Jiang Lou made me forget about for an hour.

The onions added a nice flavor to the beef, and the chili oil on the table paired really well with it. My family and I (5 people) came in to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday dinner and there was nobody but us in the restaurant. The first thing I noticed was the server. He was dressed in jeans, hooded sweatshirt, a beanie and had a toothpick in his mouth. A bit out of the ordinary but to each their own for proper attire in what I would deem a upscale-ish restaurant. The real issue was him taking our order, seemed rushed. As we were deliberating and figuring out what we wanted. My girlfriend was talking about the scallion bubble pancakes. He came over and said, "I overheard you said the scallion pancakes, did you want to put in that order?" My girlfriend said no, she wanted everything to come out all at once. He said ok and then we walked off. Next thing we know, the pancakes came out WAY ahead of everything else we ordered. By like 15 minutes at least. When my girlfriend said something about it, the waiter said, he said outright " I never heard her say not to order them, she never said anything, and they are out right now". No apology, no I'll go ahead and fix that...nothing. When we we on the way out, we talked to the owner about the experience and the only thing he mentioned was that, the server was new and it's hard to find good employees because they revolve so quickly. Which wasn't really an answer at all. It was definitely a 180 degree turn from the first experience we had here which was 5 stars all around. I think given the experience, we unfortunately won't be coming back
