Dear customer: it was a rainy day on Friday when you ordered the delivery, right? We told you that it was 35 to 40 minutes, right? You call us 20 minutes later to urge us to deliver the delivery. The dish was great!! I thoroughly enjoyed my dish. I ordered house special and it had taste and I was surprised to see it had fried egg in it which I loved. The flavors were perfect as it didn't need any extra sauce added. Order was correct and quick the reason they get 4 out 5 is because they didn't give me a napkin or fork with takeout. Poor quality ingredients. Avoid the rice. Avoid any spring rolls - they aren't much more than fried soggy cabbage. This place has some pleasant staff until you have any issues or substitutions. Then they are vicious and highly reactive. They called the cops on me for asking to switch out my vegetable fried rice or just get my money back to grab a snack elsewhere. I merely told them that yellow rice with broccoli isn't my idea of vegetable fried rice, and kindly asked her to help me find a solution. BOOM -- this lady went ballistic. So to keep the storyline moving here... the cops showed up and I got 13.60 cents back which was half the value of my meal and less than worth dealing with an irate restauranteur. OK So to put it bluntly this place is decent not great but not too shabby. it is family run and the price is right for the picking. One of the appetizers you can never go wrong on is their fried wontons they are delicious make sure you order them not too crispy. The family are really nice people and genuinely care for their customers I will have to try their dinner specials soon to give this a more detailed review but overall it isn't too shabby overall. This rating is not based on the food, it is based on the service. In my dinner order one of my main dishes was forgotten to be placed in the bag. When I arrived home to South Salem and unpacked the dishes I discovered the missing item. I called the restaurant and complained. They were extremely apologetic and drove the missing item to my door. South Salem is at least 20 minutes from Bedford Hills. The dish arrived promptly and warm. Most places would have credited me the item, Rainbow Panda went out of their way to make me, the customer happy. Amazing service and the food was good too! read more

This is without question the best value to quality ratio Chinese in town. Is it a super fancy Chinese restaurant, no of course not, but it's high quality, incredibly reliable, and fantastically delicious take-out Chinese. The best for many many miles. read more

I have no complaints about this Rainbow Panda. When I have ordered delivery, it's always come pretty fast and the food is great. I usually order the same things, and the quality and taste is consistent. Never had any issues with any of the food just wish they gave more fortune cookies lol :) I definitely have to recommend this place. BUT, I have never eaten there for their lunch or dinner service, only take out, so I don't know how good the service is, sorry :) read more

I have been a customer of Rainbow Panda for the past decade, but after tonight I will not be returning. I ordered one appetizer 10 minutes before arriving and had to wait another 20 minutes there while they filled the order. The entire time one of the cooks was screaming at the top of his lungs, fighting in the kitchen while there were 3 small children within earshot. I complained to the owner and she turned around screaming SHUT UP to him at the top of her lungs. When I told her the screaming shouldn't be allowed around customers (especially small children) she seemed annoyed and non apologetic. Love this dependable local eatery. In fact, Rainbow Panda is THE BEST Chinese takeout in the Mt. Kisco, Bedford area. Nothing fancy but the combination platters are a great value, and the food is fresh, freshly prepared and tastes great. From black bean shrimp to chicken and mixed vegetables, very good spareribs, wonton soup, and delightful vegetable eggrolls, if you're looking for a clean, great tasting, ever ready Chinese takeout restaurant look no further. Not sure what the other reviewer's issue was with the food. I ordered the shrimp rolls, which admittedly pretty greasy, but very good. The hot and sour soup was one of the better takes on that dish that I've had from a Chinese take-out, and the sweet & sour shrimp was a good value with huge shrimp and lots of the them. More than I could eat. My two complaints were with the service - the guy at the counter was kind of surly and distracted talking to another customer, and they didn't give me any condiments like soy sauce. I didn't think to check before I drove off to my hotel, and wasn't inclined to go back. Without the soy sauce, it was a little bland - but probably healthier! I'm going back tonight, a week later, so it's convenient, reasonable, and edible. That's all I expect. read more

I would give no star if I could for this Chinese restaurant. The food was terrible, every single dish I ordered. Went all in the garbage. Would never order again from this place. Save your money and health. read more
