Probably the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. The place we usually order from was so busy we couldn't get through, so we decided to try someplace new. Big mistake. The hot and sour soup had a layer of oil on the top. The egg rolls were over fried. The chicken and string beans had virtually no chicken and the string beans were overcooked and lifeless. The beef chow fun had 3 pieces of beef and about 1/4 of the dish was onions. Add to that when the deliver guy arrived he didn't even ring the doorbell to let us know he was there. The food is dynamic I ordered chicken wings. That was fried nice and crispy I also tried the chicken with broccoli with the sauce on the side. Executed very well. The service was also kind and the food took ten minutes like they said when I ordered. You can sit down in the place but it is small . I took my food to go. With all of the things going on with our food supply being contaminated in the news lately, you think people would do better. But NO! I walked in to place an order. As I was waiting, I observed one of the cooks take his bear hand and wipe sweat off of his forehead with the palm of his hand. He then went and retrieved a container of food from the refrigerator. He then proceeded to take his bear hand and scrap the food out of the container into the wok. I guess cooking utensils are a no go?! I immediately canceled my order and left. Way too much sugar, moo shu had big gloppy regular mushrooms rather than woodear mushrooms, broccoli with garlic sauce tasted like ketchup and sugar, hot spicy shrimp was not at all spicy and there were hard olive green peas that tasted like frozen peas with diced carrots, probably from a mixed bag of frozen peas and carrots, the shrimp were over cooked and were not fresh tasting rather fishy. Worst Chinese restaurant I have ever been to I ordered sweet-and-sour chicken and when I took my first bite I noticed I was chewing nothing but dough!!!! all of the chicken dumplings that are in that dish I found a minuscule size piece of chicken in each dumpling they had to use not more than a quarter of a thin sliced chicken cutlet to make a dozen of these dumplings you're eating nothing but dough the only person that benefits here is them. I think it's the worst Chinese food we've ever had. The Scallion Pancakes were ALL heavy batter not light and fluffy with nice scallions. The mixed Wonton / Egg Drop soup was almost orange in color. The steamed Dumplings , no flavor. Wasn't expecting 5 Stars but it was surprisingly bad. read more

Horrible customer service. Called to place an order for pickup & when I realized I didn't have my wallet on me, called back to make it delivery. I knew I didn't have an order worth atleast $10 so I said I would add to my order. The woman told me they "don't deliver." I've never heard of a Chinese restaurant that doesn't deliver. This is the only place I go for Chinese food. It is good. Albeit, it has gotten pricer since the new owners took over years ago.

After reading some of the dated but irate reviews and low ratings complaining of poor service, no delivery, staff not speaking English etc, I feel compelled to lend some justice here and leave them 5 stars. This is not a Michelin restaurant so please interpret the 5 stars accordingly : the staff speaks adequate English, they do deliver via Grubhub etc, they have a special Grubhub pickup window, so fact is at least in 2021 they do have delivery service. There is a $10 min on credit card which is not a wrong, so I am not sure why some complained about this issue. And service is generally good and they do have a stream of customers who may not be yelpers, but obviously there would be few customers if this place is as bad as some of the reviews here may make one think. Now on to the food: I have tried several dishes, some are actually surprisingly authentic for a fast food place, some dishes betters some of the same fare that you order in an upscale Chinese restaurant in New York City, but of course the price here is much lower. Its an open kitchen and you see the cooks working, and I dont notice anything that would make me concerned about their hygiene either, at least not on my recent visits. The 5 stars here means that this place meets or beats one's expectations on all counts: food, service, price for this category of food. read more
