I have been to the Rainforest Cafe in Sawgrass Mills in Fort Lauderdale and it was terrible. It may have been how I first even started on this app. HOWEVER, this rainforest cafe was absolutely amazing. It's huge and as you walk through sections it legitimately feels like you're in the rainforest. I learned it is the largest one!! Our server - Ashley P, may very well have been the best server I've ever had. She was fun, attentive and soooo knowledgeable about everything. It felt like we were hanging out with a friend we hadn't seen in a long time. The food was incredible - I was able to customize my dish so it was what I wanted: the different shrimp entree. Our reservation was originally for 5:30, but we arrived about 30 minutes early and they were able to seat us right away. This was our first time visiting this location, and one of the staff members mentioned that it is three times larger than the location at Disney Springs and is also the largest one in the world. My daughter absolutely loved all of the animals and wanted to explore the entire time. We started with the Awesome Adventure Appetizer and decided to split the Ribs, Steak and Shrimp Platter. The food did take a while to come out, which was a little bit of a bummer, although we did have an allergy that they were very accommodating with, so that may have contributed to the longer wait. We really appreciated how careful and attentive the staff was when it came to our allergy concerns. The steak was a little on the salty side, and unfortunately, our shrimp was a little cold when it arrived. Overall, though, the food wasn't bad. Despite the wait and a few minor issues with the food, we still had a really enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was fun, our daughter loved exploring and seeing all the animals, and the staff was wonderful about accommodating our allergy. Rainforest Cafe has always been somewhere that brings nostalgia as I adored going here as a kiddo. I always remembered the mojo bones and waffle fries, and would ask to go here for multiple birthday dinners. I was fascinated by animals and the one in Tempe was located close enough to the Phoenix Zoo that my parents would take me to both. The perfect day for me! When I heard there was one at Animal Kingdom, I knew I had to make a visit. In January 2026, I made my first ever trip to Disney World (I'm a Disneylander), but since there was so much to see, I didn't end up making a visit to dine here. When my boyfriend (from Orlando) offered a day trip to WDW, I hoped the family would pick Animal Kingdom and indulge in my request for the Rainforest Cafe for lunch - and they did! Huzzah! Booking a reservation for five via the WDW app was easy, and ensured the hostess sat us quickly. Our server was very friendly, and even prompted before empty glasses if we wanted refills. I always appreciate when servers anticipate your needs. Service was top notch during our June 2026 visit! What We Ordered: - Amazon Bruschetta: surprisingly delicious for an appetizer. Truthfully, the Rainforest Cafe by me has average food, but this was very good! Loved the crispiness of the toast and the tang of the balsamic as it made a great pairing. The whole table enjoyed! - Python Pasta (Chicken + Shrimp): I had requested for both proteins and glad they could accommodate. Whether it was spending 4 hours in the hot, humid park or it was made well, I devoured this dish of pasta. It was incredibly delicious and ended up being my favorite meal of the day! - Mojo Pork Chops: my boyfriend loved this dish and it was MASSIVE. Easily we could have shared the plate if we both could agree on the same dish. The grill marks looked beautiful, and still shocked it came with two pork chops! This dish could easily be one, but he was happy as it fueled us to return to the parks for another 7 hours. - Various other delicious dishes ordered by family that I wasn't fast enough to snap a photo, but they all remarked how much they enjoyed. And lots of cleaned plates! It has been a week since we dined here, and I'm still throughly impressed with the food and the experience here. Heck, I even told my parents who my first trip here was with that when we return to WDW, this is a must return! If you need a great place to dine with beautiful decor and cool vibes in more than one way (air conditioning and decor), then look no further! What a wonderful birthday dinner we had here for my daughter and dad. We made reservations in advance as we had a large party but we check in and were sat on time. Our server , Aldys was very good and enjoyed conversations with my family and the birthday girl. There are so many kid options , seafood and steak and some great salads. Everyone loved the ambiance of sitting in the rainforest with all the aquariums with a variety of coral and fish. Rainforest cafe also has a retail side so you can shop for souvenirs or take cute photos in the photo booth before or after you dine. This location is in Disney Springs but they also have a location at Animal Kingdom right out front of the main entrance . I highly recommend making reservations through disney dining because we were hearing wait times of 1-2 hours. But if not, walk ins are welcome and you can always sit at the bar ( it's massive ) and chill before your table is ready. read more

Ugh! Why do I keep falling for it. I mean, great for younger kids but mine are 16-30. Everyone wanted to go, including me, as we have fond memories from a decade ago. It is just overpriced, very middling food at wildly inflated prices. Think Applebee's at a 300% markup with some mildly amusing animatronics and a light show in the rainforest. Service was sloooooow. My mom used to tell me about how cool the Rainforest Cafe was when I was a kid and unfortunately most of them have gone out of business, so when I saw they had one at the Wild Animal Kingdom we had to get a reservation for lunch while in the area. The ascetic in this restaurant was unmatched. The entire place is like you walked into the rainforest. There are jungle vines, misting, and animals all over the place. Some of the animals were animmatronics which brought the show to life. There was also an aquarium inside, and a large gift shop. Every now and then thunder storms would kick in and it would rain all around the restaurant. It was such a cool experience. Our server Gabby was incredible, so sweet, so attentive and friendly. She made sure to check on us often. The Korean style chicken lettuce wraps were incredible! I could have eaten that as my meal it was ao good. I got the blackend fish tacos and those were really good as well. I would go back again in the future! read more

We had a day planned at Animal Kingdom but arrived too late for breakfast so we decided to try brunch at the Rainforest Cafe. It was good. The atmosphere is what you'd expect at a Rainforest Cafe. We had reservations and arrived about 1/2 an hour early, but they were able to seat us almost immediately. The service was quick and friendly. The food did take a while to come out, but it was warm. I had the chicken and waffles and my husband had the avocado toast. Both dishes were good but seemed to be lacking in some seasoning. Portions were generous. The pricing was reasonable. We might come back and try something else on the menu. It's a great option when you're at the park and need a little escape. One thing we weren't crazy about was the sales pitch for their restaurant club bonus thing. Our waitress pushed it kind of hard throughout the meal. The review can't be given 5 starts because of Receptionist at check-in, Lola, who was rude and not willing to make appropriate recommendations for our dilemma.We were early for checkin at 545 for a 6:15 reservation. We were concerned coming from a day at Animal Kingdom with a stroller rental and the park closing at 7p. She abruptly and rudely informed us that the reservation was for 6:15 and stated we could not be seated and that we should leave and return the stroller! When we left to return the stroller the Rainforest entry staff advised they could assist us by handling the stroller return so we would not have to leave the restaurant as long as we removed our belongings. If Lola was more knowledgeable about hospitality, like most of her colleagues, she could have advised the same. Otherwise, after a full day exploring Disney's Animal Kingdom, we wrapped things up with dinner at Rainforest Cafe--and it was the perfect transition from park adventure to family wind-down time. The atmosphere is always a hit, especially with kids. The immersive rainforest setting, animated animals, and occasional "thunderstorm" effects kept my grandson DJ completely entertained while we relaxed and refueled. It truly feels like the adventure continues even after you leave the park gates. The service and food were awful. First we waited for our waiter. He never came. We had to ask another server for help. When our server, Jesus, did arrive he messed up food orders and drink orders. 1/2 the table got their meal while the other 1/2 waited. When their food did arrive, it was wrong. The food also wasn't good. We asked to speak with a manager. She came over to help but as we were talking you could tell she didn't care. We went to the location at Animal Kingdom for lunch. The service was amazing, the portions generous and food delicious. It's so much more affordable than eating in the park. Since my husband and I ate at the peak of lunchtime we decided to eat at the bar. The servers were super friendly and attentive. We also each ordered a draft beer. My husband ordered the larger one, which looked almost the same size and cost almost twice as much ( Mine was $10, his $17), so that was a bummer. He ordered the lettuce wraps and I ordered the grain bowl with chicken. His wraps were delicious and my bowl had deliciously prepared chicken. The bowl had broccoli, black beans and carrots, which was an odd selection of "root vegetables " in my opinion. Long wait over 2 hours!! Don't come during peak hours or join the queue early. Food and service were good! Was serviced by Tanya she came by to check on us a few times while we were there. Had not been to rainforest in years perhaps a decade or maybe even longer. They closed the one they had at downtown Disney in California. Anyway once we got seated service was friendly and food was good just like I remember. Prices are high not like I remember. Restaurant is decorated like if you were eating in a rainforest and animals are scattered around. About every 10-15 minutes they do a small show (growl and move). Madison was our server. She was pleasant and hardworking and made sure we were good. Food here is okay. Ambiance gets 5 stars from the kiddos. Decor could use a good dusting as we noticed dust covering the greenery along the walls. Soon after my allergies started rolling in and the sneezing began. The food here is expensive and arguably not worth the price. However this is a tourist hot spot. There wasn't an empty table on the night we went, the servers were running back and forth and super busy. We ordered a sampler appetizer, shrimp trio and my kid had the shrimp trio. Everyone enjoyed their food, though I can't say it was worth the walk all the way from one end of Disney springs to the other after a long and busy day. Would I go again? Not willingly. Here we go again, with another bad experience. Party of 7 including 3 kids who had never been here before. They liked the atmosphere but not as much as T-Rex. Our server was friendly and quickly got drinks and took our order. When food arrived my husband looked at his salad and discovered no ham and lots of Bleu cheese. Took us awhile to find our server and learned she thought he said one salad when it was the other. She would get the correct one for him. The 6 of us ate our entire meal and then she brought his salad and stated the kitchen was busy. Nope...first priority should have been given for the error. Now my husband felt rushed to eat because the kids were antsy and we had lightning lanes booked in the park. This place should be able to do better, but they just don't. Had lunch here while visiting Animal Kingdom and forgot how interactive this restaurant is. If you have small children that are afraid of lightning / dark I don't recommend you bring them as the rainstorms happen every 30 min or so. Our server Teresa was terrific, she got our orders perfectly, kept our drinks filled & napkins stocked. I ordered the Rasta pasta & the salt life drink (which comes with gummy candy) and the Rasta pasta with shrimp. The portions were hefty. Our food came in a timely manner and was perfectly made. The food is just OK here I like the theme but it's a little outdated and a little old but it's great for kids and for families that wanna have a nice quick meal before going into the park or after the parks it's owned by Landry so they accept the Landry select club, which is great to get a quick reservation and sit really quickly. Also, you can accumulate points for $25 gift cards for your birthday and for your next visit with the Landry's rewards program so that's a great perk if you're looking to get some food it's a little overpriced for what it is but great with Landry select club if you go here I recommend seeing Kadu. The inside is beautiful, super touristy and kid friendly! Without a reservation though, there were long wait tines for tables. It was however easy to find a spot at the bar to grab lunch. We were greeted by the bartender immediately with friendly and kind service. FYI, they allow minors to sit at the bar here so for us was a plus! Our food was the down fall ..48 minute ticket at 1140 am for a salad w chicken and half rack ribs w fries. And, it was not just us it, most patrons who ordered food were questioning their ticket tines. The bartenders were empathetic and would follow up with the kitchen, however no manager acknowledged the issue. The asian chicken salad was tasty though and my son sure did enjoy his ribs! My daughter wanted to visit for her birthday. We hadn't been in 19 years. The hostess was not super friendly. We had a reservation, but were a few minutes early. She said we had to wait. Once our time came, she was busy, but once we walked up again, we were seated but with breakfast menus instead of lunch menus. Once we were seated, the customer back to back with me was really loud, so we asked to move. The other hostess was very nice and allowed us to move. Izabela was our server and she made our day amazing! We have never had better service anywhere. The food was also excellent!! She recommended the salmon and coconut shrimp. Delicious!
