For the fees you charge, the floors and counters should have been clean when the workers left. Floors, carpets and dusting were the items I emphasized when we first spoke and I was clear they were my primary concern. Dusting was done with a feather duster, instead of a damp cloth, so the dust became airborne and settled back onto the floors. The floors were swept, then mopped, creating a film of dusty mud, as the pictures show. I remopped the floors. If I can get them clean, your workers should have been able to as well. I lifted utensil holders and items on counters to wipe the counter underneath. I cleaned the corner counter in the kitchen, where nothing was moved or cleaned. I moved chairs and mopped behind the kitchen table. If the counters were wiped, they would have been clean. If the floors were vacuumed and mopped, they would be clean. Swirling a damp mop over a dusty floor just makes mud. Beds weren't made. The refrigerator and windows weren't cleaned because you charge extra for these services, so there was no reason counters and floors weren't clean.
