I recently went into Raintree Cleaners to have a purse strap cleaned. It was a canvas material with leather on both ends, so my usual cleaners declined to clean it because they said the leather dye may seep into the lighter canvas during the process. Nick at Raintree said the same thing, but did a quick steam clean and was able to remove the stain completely. We have used Raintree Cleaners for 15 years, but recently, they have returned high quality business slacks and button shirt ripped, quite a lot, in most visible places. They told me that they have received it like that. That is difficult to believe because it would've been obvious and impossible to wear in public. It has happened once before, and, although surprised, I let it go. Now, it happened again. I spoke with Nick, the owner, and he issued a partial credit on the account which doesn't cover the cost of these high quality slacks and shirts. The very next time, after we settled, I picked up the newly cleaned items, and one of the button shirts was significantly ripped at the wrist and elbow! The brand new shirt was destroyed! Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere. When I explained to the new dry cleaners the situation, and we inspected every item, we found one of the pains stitched in two places! We didn't even know about it. That means Raintree Cleaners must've ripped and fixed by stitching, without informing us. Poor customer service and dry cleaning service. My clothes were damaged during the dry cleaning process causing my shorts to rip and on a separate occasion they lost a button on my jacket. I realize that they handle many items daily, but I don't expect them to lie about damaging garments. Nick, manager, lied about not damaging items and suggested that I pay the tailor to fixed them. I requested to review the items with another manager and she finally omitted that the dry cleaning service caused the fabric to rip in my shorts. This cleaners is very expensive and should take better care of the clothes. Both managers need an attitude adjust and customer service training. Additionally, it is virtually impossible to speak with the owners, which is a shame. They should be aware of these important issues impacting their business. Raintree Cleaners has no Integrity. I have used Raintree for many years. Not cheap but who does cheap dry cleaning? I have used their tailors numerous times. Very expensive, at least to me, but always good work. I wear a lot of polo type cotton shirts. I need them shortened and have the side vents stitched back in. Last time I was there for that, I believe it was $32 per shirt. I tried De Leon and they charged $30 but we had dry cleaning to pick up, so off we went to Raintree today, to pick up and have some shirts altered. My wife went in and was told each shirt would be $65. And the guy wasn't too nice, either. My wife took the shirts back and we drove to De Leon. Each shirt will be $35. Raintree is a sham and an insult. I will never return and I hope you don't either. I hope they go out of business. read more

Came here to launder seven dress shirts and walked out paying over $40. They claimed four shirts were "too small" for their press and required special hand service. These were normal Banana Republic dress shirts (size medium) - and exactly the same as the other three shirts which didn't require special care. I've also never had an issue laundering these shirts at any other dry cleaner. These guys are crooks - stay away. read more
