It was super busy, but WOW, the coffee was so good! I've tried so many coffee places, and this was honestly one of the smoothest coffees I've had. I got the shaken espresso with pumpkin cold foam, and they absolutely nailed it! The cold foam tasted so clean and smooth. Starbucks' coffee is honestly trash to me , but their pumpkin cold foam is something I always crave, and this place made one that was just as good, if not better! I really hope it's not a one-hit wonder because I've had that happen at so many coffee shops where the first visit is amazing and the next one just isn't the same. If you like dark chocolate, this one's for you! For food, I've tried the breakfast burritos with sausage, breakfast sandwich with sausage, deluxe avocado toast, and the Burrata-Plata Grilled Cheese. The grilled cheese was super cheesy and delicious. I especially loved the marinara/tomato sauce that it came with! But warning, it's a lot of cheese. If you are lactose intolerant, you've been warned! The breakfast sandwich and burrito were also good!! Nothing too special, but still yummy The avocado toast was tasty, but some of the ratios were a bit off. A little too much goat cheese and it was loaded with avocado (perhaps a bit too much for the bread it was on), but I did really love the addition of pickled onions and balsamic glaze. First and foremost, the coffee was good! I'm a coffee snob. I grind coffee beans fresh every morning for home pour-over or aeropress. I ordered their Lions Brew as a pour-over. Very smooth and rich cup of coffee. Atmosphere: cozy shop with a decent amount of seating. I came just before the lunch rush still found a table to set up and work for a bit ( I am a remote worker and always in the look for a new spot to work for a couple hours). Staff was friendly enough - a few smiles would great. Several food options (sandwiches, avo toast, etc.). I can't comment on food since I didn't order any, but 5 stars for the coffee; minus 1 star since I had nowhere to plug-in to power my laptop (think I saw one availlable?), which I get that establishments don't want people camping out, but it would be nice to have. read more

I have no notes for this cafe! The vibe isn't chaotic, it isn't completely quiet, and the music is at the perfect level of being audible but not too loud that you wouldn't be able to focus on your work if you didn't have headphones in. I don't enjoy cafes that are dead silent or boisterously loud, this coffee shop is the perfect in between. I tried their banana cream matcha and their tuscan chicken sandwhich. Both were pretty decent, the sandwhich was a little oily from the pesto and the sundried tomatoes (which didn't bother me but may not be desirable for some). I will 100% come back to try other drinks and food. They have wifi and don't have any particular rules about needing to purchase a minimum or that you can only stay a certain amount of time. I've driven by this coffee shop a few times and finally stopped by to give it a try. Being a sucker for lattes or any espresso based drink, they had a good amount of selections for espresso lovers. Somehow I was instantly drawn to trying the Honey Cinnamon Latte. I requested it to be served in a porcelain cup for the aesthetic of it and also because it keeps the drink warmer for a little longer since I take my sweet time. The latte was good. I enjoyed the bold and staring flavor of the espresso and a tasty foam. After the first few sips once you stir everything into place, you get the entire experience and flavor of the coffee. Here they have a few seating area inside and outside so you aren't forced to take your drinks for take out which is another good thing but they do close I believe around 5 or 6pm. read more

I can start off by saying the Ube latte was absolutely delicious, and definitely a solid 5. I love Ube and it's hard to find out in the wild lol so anytime it's on a menu that's what I order. Came here to meet up a friend and ended up trying their matcha. We got the strawberry and banana matcha. My friend got the strawberry with 1/4 sweetness and it was lacking. When it came to my order, no one mentioned that I could modify it so it was full sweet..too sweet. The drinks come with freeze dried fruit on top which brings some texture but the matcha does not taste ceremonial and slightly bitter. Really smooth coffee! Came on a weekday around 1pm and place was bustling and packed! There are tables and chairs for people to do work or socialize and every seat was full. This was a nice find. My mom and I wanted coffee and she has to have hot hot hot coffee. When she first received her order of a hot ube latte, it was only warm, even for me, it was a the much cooler side, as if they put the cold milk straight in instead of steaming it first. They did correct it though when we brought it to their attention. Mine was iced, much easier. You can taste ube and still appreciate the coffee flavor. I liked that it wasn't too sweet. I've been here a couple times & always liked the coffee but find myself making the drive too often. I got a text offer (which I love that they do) and I happened to be in the area so I decided to stop by and tried the coconut vanilla latte which was really good! I love that more coffee shops are embracing coconut because I love it. I've yet to get a drink from here that I didn't really enjoy :) I also tried the avocado toast which was packed with avocado, the egg was cooked perfectly. But it was really ALOT of avocado, it got pretty messy to eat. It is pretty filling so I'd recommend to get it if you're really hungry. The avocado spread itself could have used more flavor it was a bit bland/mushy and the bread a bit rough. On a next visit I'd probably try something else but if you like your avocado toast more like this, give it a try. I will say this little coffee shop can get pretty busy and there isn't a ton of seating so if you're planning to use this space to work in be aware of that, they also have some limited seating outside. read more

Shout out to Abby! I have been here several times 6-9 months back. I was with my wife and struggling with my order--trying to find something that we would both like. I asked about The Nettie and The Richard remembered my wife's not a huge fan of caramel flavor. I asked her for a solid vanilla-based based coffee and she said that the second most popular drink is the Vanilla Bean Oat Shaken Espresso. It has less dairy than the lattes but still very flavorful. Man, did she set us right! That was one of the most recent examples of me getting a drink that my wife and I both equally enjoyed!! And I have to give her some extra kudos for her customer service and patience with me during the last 45 minutes of the day. She served me like her shift had just started and was ramping up for a good, long workday. You don't always get that kind of service in the 11th hour but Abby was exceptional. I had difficulty deciding what I wanted to order at first in terms of coffee - I was between this and the Vanilla Bean Oat Shaken Espresso - and the girl at the counter helped me out by describing both drinks and recommending them by my preferences which I appreciated! The drink itself was creamy, sweet but not too sweet, and along with the espresso it was the perfect kickstart to my day. The Avocado Toast was great as well - I always love when places aren't scared of giving the customer a huge slab of bread! The balsamic drizzle over the cherry tomatoes and avocado really brought the whole thing together! There was both indoor and outdoor seating available, and since we were a bigger group (around 6 total) we were able to move some of the smaller tables together to fit us all. Our food came moderately quick for the crowd of people that had come both before and during our stay, and everyone seemed content with their food and drinks as well! The staff were all so patient and sweet even considering how busy they were. From the moment you walk in the tiled coffee sign on the floor was the first thing I noticed and I loved it! It's such a cute artistic touch. We ordered the Spanish latte with extra shots and the herbal loose tea 'The Flirt' which was chamomile and hibiscus. As well as a chocolate croissant and almond croissant. Spanish Latte was perfection and so smooth, whatever beans they used allowed the drink to really shine without overpowering it with espresso. The herbal tea did have to steep for a bit and once it did it was so flavorful!! They do come without sugar though so just heads up if you need that in your tea, ask for it. The croissants were absolutely delicious!!! The chocolate one though was probably the best I've had anywhere. We can't wait to come back to this place, they had stickers and cute merch as well! Cocoa Cream Cold Brew from RBL Staples menu: 4/5. A slightly acidic-tasting cold brew, but the cream helped tone down the acidity. It was also more chocolatey than sweet, which was nice. Kinda misleading since the cream is not cocoa-flavored like the name suggests...maybe it should be called something along the lines of cream-topped cocoa cold brew.
