Pulling into the familiar parking lot, we towards the entrance passing a sea of rocking chairs. Once inside, its a mixture of Halloween and Thanksgiving Decorations. I want to buy everything. We stopped in today for lunch. Normally, I'd get my standard fried catfish plate but walking through the lobby planted a subliminal message, I feel like Thanksgiving? Most of their 3‑ and 4‑star servers are gone, and you can feel the difference the moment you walk in. The water glassware has that sour smell that tells you the dish machine isn't doing its job. The bacon came out half cooked, which is something Cracker Barrel never used to get wrong. You now have to ask for biscuits or other breads instead of them automatically bringing a basket, which makes the whole meal feel stripped down. They're charging $3.39 for unlimited coffee refills, and I only drank half a cup this morning because it wasn't worth it. As a single customer they placed me at a table with a surface so distressed I honestly thought it was an antique. The whole restaurant needs a complete makeover because the decline is obvious in every corner. read more

My husband and I had the best breakfast meal today. We're not sure if it was due to the weather or quick service but it was delicious! I am glad they have Impossible Sausage now, as it paired well with the shredded potato, pancakes and fruit. Some cool Apple Juice helped to wash it all down. My husband enjoyed pancakes, regular sausage, bacon and ham with a Dr Pepper (I still don't get why some folks drink soda in the morning). We took the biscuits home for later. Ordered New York Strip steak cooked medium rare for the 3 of us for pick up on the evening of March 28, 2026. We were staying at the marriott across the parking lot. Since the store was about to close when we placed out order we could not dine in. What we got were pieces of rubber that we could not cut or bite or chew. The service was great! David was on his A game. The gravy was really runny and weak tasting. The biscuits were small and dry. It was very loud this morning, not Cracker Barrel issue there was a large party of 25. I would rate this location as 6 out of 10 compared to other Cracker Barrels. The food was pretty good. 8/10 (eggs mediocre) If I'm being honest, it took me an entire day to gather my thoughts and write this review. It's been a rough week for my family and personally, myself. Of course, our server "LIA" would probably not know that because she was pretty flustered it appeared and did not ask how we were doing. Instead, she walked up with a condescending demeanor and forced grin, airing her grievances about how the next host doesn't arrive until her shift ends and how the servers are having to seat people and serve. You poor thing.. anywho. I was with my Aunt and Little sister. My aunt is dealing with a spouse who's terminally ill by the way among everything else and I felt like she was treated the worse. My patience was tested but I tried to maintain my composure for the sake of keeping things peaceful.. my order was not correct and when I told my server, she went back and forth with me even after my aunt also told her, "No, she did ask for a side of hash" No accountability but she ended up getting me a side at no charge. I was reluctant to eat.. I was worried something could've been done to it. The server was a bit patronizing so I couldn't read if she was being genuine.. honey this, sweetie that. An apology would've sufficed but whatever. My aunt asked to make sure the pancakes were fresh and hot, not sitting but made last so she can eat her food together. The server went back and forth with her also insisting that she was doing the right thing by bringing the pancakes out right away so they're hot. Man was I excited to have Cracker Barrel again after not having it in years, a nice warm home cooked meal for a long days end...Nightmare material for many sleeps to come. Placed my order online for pickup and was told it would take 20 min. 25 minutes later I arrived and due to past experiences of delayed pickup services, went inside to ensure my order was claimed. I was then told that they were still working on the order and would have it out shortly, around 20 minutes later, the order still wasn't out. I went back inside and was told it would be ready soon. A few minutes later, I got it. Got back excited to begin, took my first bite, cold as the grave after the sun just set, that is to say not hot, getting pretty cold...after an hour. We went in here Saturday, they were slammed but we were seated after about 10 minutes. We ordered and got our drinks. The food took roughly 20/25 minutes to come out and then when they brought out our food they gave it to the table beside us they started messing with it the waitress took our food back from them and set it on our table. I'm not sure what exactly is going on with this Cracker Barrel, but this experience did not meet expectations. First, the wait was longer than usual, and if you have ever been to Cracker Barrel, they have a store in the front end because the wait is long. And, on Sunday, even longer. Well, this wait made the usual Sunday morning wait look like a McDonalds drive thru wait. Crazy long. Finally they called us, and I knew something wasn't right when they had 2 people at the hostess desk with no stars on their aprons (aka New Hires) and there was no silverware at the station. We were seated and ordered. When we placed our order, we were asked if we wanted the biscuits and gravy then? Or, did we want to wait? We chose to get them at that time. When the server brought them, we asked for silverware. Recurring theme here. As we waited for silverware, our coffee ran dry and our biscuits got cold. We were later asked if we wanted more coffee and we said that silverware would be nice. The server brought coffee, and still no silverware. After an apology about the silverware, we were told that there was a huge backup in the kitchen and food would be slow. UUGGHH! After about 20 minutes, food came out, but still nothing to wear with. I pushed the cold biscuits, covered with now crusted over gravy out to the edge of the table as a hint, but that didn't work. Finally the server came back out with more coffee and asked if everything was good. Again, asked for silverware. FINALLY...the elusive fork and knife arrive. The food order was not what we expected. The Grandpa meal comes with eggs and either 2 pieces of bacon or 2 sausage patties (sausage ordered). It came out with 1 piece of bacon and 1 sausage patty. The server put the plate down and says that she doesn't know why. Now, why, in the name of wrong Burger King drive through orders, would they even bring it out if they knew it was wrong? My wife's order came with 3 pieces of bacon, of which one was barely cooked, and probably shouldn't have been consumed, as it states on the bottom of the menu. Pecan waffles were delivered without pecans. I guess this is their way of cutting costs. Just eliminate some of the ingredients. Okay, I guess that's enough. The bottom line is that this location has a staff that is entirely new. If you're going to go here, I would wait for all of the snowbirds, traveling back to Florida, to train the staff. read more

This Cracker Barrel is tucked away behind the Fairfield Inn, and I'm glad we found it! I love most CB's... they are consistently pleasant, have good customer service and serve good home Cooking! We went for breakfast and our meals were served hot and efficiently! My eggs came out Perfect, and I'm picky! I order like Meg Ryan in You've Got Mail, and they didn't bat an eye! I love their pancake with real maple syrup and I even enjoyed my first pumpkin spiced latte of the season there!! The grits are creamy and smooth, served with real butter and the biscuits & gravy are delish! All good in the neighborhood! I can understand the staff needs to multitask. However, I placed an online order. When there should have been 3 sides, only one was received. My belief is that servers who prepare pickups should be responsible for the completeness and accuracy of an online order. Waited forever for a table for 6. There were numerous tables open. There as a large round table open and several side by side tables that could have slid together. They made us wait while they "cleaned" up a huge chocolate milk spill at the table they wanted to sit us at. The hostess said that she was doing that and checking people in. While we were standing there waiting, we noticed a very prevalent ant infestation on the candy and soda bins. When we finally got seated there was a puddle of dirty water n the chair and the table top was soaked. Our waitress never checked back until our food was gone. When she brought our bill another person was going to refill our coffee. Our waitress stopped her and said "they don't be no more coffee-do you?" A refill would have been nice earlier for sure. So disappointed. We were seated and sat there for 20 minutes while we watched at least 4 other tables be seated and receive their drinks & bread. I was ready to walk out. Finally we saw the manager and someone came and helped us. She forgot my coffee. Gave my husband decaf. She fixed that and our meals came out. Needless to say my French toast was very hard (talk about break a tooth) I didn't even taste any cream cheese, I was disappointed to say the least. Took my wife and family here for dinner on her birthday and it wasn't the best experience. Understand the place was busy but I've been to other busy Cracker Barrels and didn't receive this kind of service. We ordered two appetizers only to find out later that they were out of the cheesy potatoes. Then when it was time for the food to come out they brought out my daughter's full meal and one side dish for everyone else. It was another five minutes before everyone else received their full meal except my wife. Our dinner was great and I even ordered French toast for breakfast. We were rv parking boondocking overnight on our way north. No other RVs were there (first sign) got woken up at 1:00 am with screaming we saw 2 guys behind our rig then someone from the Marriott behind us started yelling at them. This place is horribly mismanaged! I went in today (Sunday) to order 2 meals to go. It took an hour and 15 minutes and while I waited, 5 pick up orders before mine were wrong or missing items. I spoke with the manager. It still took them multiple times to get mine right! I was missing one side order and two other side orders they gave me were not what I had ordered. I never got the biscuits I asked for. Corn muffins in an unsealed bag were garbage when I got home because gravy soaked them because the bag was open. The kitchen needs a Quality Control person checking each order before it goes out...and the manager is incompetent. What a mess!
