I took the chicken sandwich basket and a couple extra strips on the side for my selection. The sandwich was pretty good. The strips as well. Fresh, hot, tender, a juicy. Everything you'd hope for out of fried chicken. The service wasn't super fast. But it was the lunch rush and they were keeping up pretty well. And the staff were super nice and calm under pressure. Stop by this Raising Canes, after a tour at Nugget warehouse. Got to the drive-thru and ordered the Caniac combo w a coke and ordered extra toast and a jug of sweet tea. The person that took my order was nice and friendly. I love the sweet tea and that you can get it in a gallon jug, but the chicken is lacking flavor and fries were kind of soggy. I have a deep love for Cane's. I first experienced it when I went to visit San Antonio. I got to see it again in Oakland then in Vegas. Now I get to have it on a rare day that I'm in Fairfield. I stopped by Raising Cane's for lunch recently. I was going to go order in the drive thru, but, that line was too long. I figured ordering inside would be faster. I was greeted at the counter and didn't have to wait in a line. I ordered the 3 finger chicken combo to go. I sipped on my drink while I waited inside, no more than 5-10 minutes. I grabbed my meal and left. My food was food was good, everything was hot, the fries portion is a lot smaller from what I remember it to be. Then again, it's probably been at least a year since I have eaten at any Raising Cane's...maybe my memory on the portion size is off? I wasn't given any ketchup packets for the fries. At least I have that delicious sauce that's served with the meal to dip them in. Which is actually better than eating with ketchup :) The staff was nice, food was accurate and well cooked, and had no issues during my visit. I would visit this location again. I've had Raising Cane's before but this wasn't the best one. While the service is alright, the chicken tenders and fries could have been crispier. We went during lunch hour so it was busy. Busier at the drive thru though. I also think their prices have gone up quite significantly so I don't think I'll be back at Canes for some time. read more

My kid that was 8 years old. Beg me to go to get the limited edition Olympic plush. After reading the reviews I was 50/50 on going. After further thinking about it.. I went to the location in Fairfield. When arriving staff members immediately greeted me. The people in the staff was excellent, nice, very perfessional & kind..I order 2 meals & had the Ice tea non sweet..Excellent chicken hot & lightly salted & juicy. Fries was hot lightly salted which i like.. I don't care too much about getting more then I can eat.. But. I do get people saying they wanted more fries for the value .. But for me it was perfect size serving & the Bread was toasted perfect & the sauce was excellent I get the hype about cane's sauce!!! Naturally, I received two Dr. Peppers, because reading comprehension must not be part of the Cane's training manual. Now, I'm not here for the "chicken" (which tastes like it was seasoned by someone who once heard about salt). I'm here for the Cane's sauce -- that sacred nectar that makes the chicken edible. Knowing they forgot my extra sauces last time, I made sure to ask the person handing me the bag, "Hey, are my extra sauces in here?" She smiled, nodded confidently, and said, "Yes!" Spoiler: they were not. So now I'm sitting here, double-Dr-Peppered and sauce-deficient, staring at a pile of beige chicken that tastes like existential disappointment. With a Chick-fil-A literally in the same parking lot, Cane's might want to rethink their strategy. Picking up Sunday spillover from Chick-fil-A won't save them if they can't manage basic sauce logistics. I've picked up food here a few times, about 4 or so. Drive through orders every time. The workers are friendly and polite, and every time I come by here the lines are moving pretty fast. Food is served fresh, hot and orders have always been accurate! I myself am not a huge fan of their fries and the chicken fingers are pretty basic. But I will say my 8 year old and all his friends LOVE the food here! His go to is always the box combo which comes with 4 chicken fingers, coleslaw, fries, the toast and a lemonade: He never eats the whole combo so next time we'll just order the 3 finger combo. In order for it to taste good, you literally have to wrap a strip in bread and dip it in the sauce. The sweet grilled bread gives it flavor. Man what I can say... the way this restaurant run is insane to me. Only at this location. How they serve the people in the back first but the cars in the front has to wait a long time. Make no sense. Now the front of the line waiting for their food holding up the line while the back has their food and probably got cold food by the time they get back home. And mostly the right side get their food first and get going way faster than the left lane. I've been here the 3rd time and it's always the same issue here. To start off, I absolutely love Canes Chicken lol!!! I had never gone to this restaurant but I stopped in on a road trip to the Bay Area. The parking lot provide a lot of space and ease of entering and exiting which is a plus. After entering the store, there were a couple of people ahead of me so I waited to get to the front. Once I reached the front, I was greeted by this adorable older lady who welcomed me in. She was so nice and chatted with me for a couple moments. First of all...Popeyes tenders are better...a lot better. Number 1, they need to invest in better containers. While it looks shiny and sturdy, it was slick and could not secure properly. We ordered four of the Caniac Combo and it was divided into to bags. When we got home, two of the containers were opened and the food dumped on the bottom of the bag. I separated the orders but could not secure/lock the containers. The other bag had containers that were very easy to open and didn't even lock close. Same with the lids for the drinks. Everyone says great things about the sauce so we ordered 3 each for our combos...nothing special about the special sauce we could used ketchup better. Good thing we still had extra Chick File sauce. The chicken tenders were lightly breaded with zero, 0, seasoning. The crinkle fries was a disappointment...maybe it they left it longer in the fryer to make it more crispy. The highlight of the meal was the bread. It was crunchy and moist My experience with Raising Cane hasn't meet expectations and it's a "one and I'm done" experience.
