This is a casual spot where you order at the tablets and then they bring the food to you when it's ready. I got a mixed plate for lunch with Honolulu chicken, huli huli chicken, veggies and macaroni salad. Both chickens were really good, flavorful, and moist. The veggies and macaroni salad were both too strong on the spices though.

3 time back, love the food. Large portions. They honor coupons! Terrific Service. I ordered and they did the rest . Delivered to my table Will be a repeat customer.

I wanted to like this place, but omg !! This has to be the worse Hawaiian restaurant food I had and to make it worst... it's a chain, like there's more than one location? Dang. The chicken was just drenched in salty sauce like you're gonna get a heart attack eating it. Honestly, it was so bad that I threw half away. Go to Hapa food, Ono Hawaiian, or even L&L for your Hawaiian food craving.

This was an authentic Hawaiian experience and really tasty. We loved the Kahlua pork, which was tender and smoky. I also liked the Dole whip drink, which was refreshing and fruity. Service was great - quick and friendly and the island vibe was perfect. Mahalo for a great meal experience.

This was our first time to Hawaiian Bros, and our first time to this new location. Having just returned from Hawaii, we were in the mood to get a taste of the islands back here at home. To their credit, Hawaiian Bros doesn't claim to be genuine Hawaiian food. Some reviewers have been critical because the chain's food doesn't live up to the "real deal," but I think it's better to review them with how the restaurant promotes itself: "island-inspired comfort food." Keeping this in mind, I was happy to give them four stars. The ambience is not pure Hawaii by any odds. If that were the case, it might need to look a bit more "ramshackle" because the best Hawaiian food, in my opinion, is at the local, hole-in-the-wall places you come across while there. It seems clear to me that Hawaiian Bros is understanding the mainland, larger-city audience, and the restaurant looks the part: clean, minimalist, light, and bright, with a drive-thru. Service for us was friendly enough, though we did have to use the kiosks to order. We each decided to order the luau pig and were happy to see they offered a small version, since we weren't super hungry. I ordered mine with the usual sides of rice and macaroni salad, and my wife substituted seasoned vegetables for the macaroni salad for her plate. We had a coupon for a free Dole whip, so we ordered one of those swirled, which meant it included both pineapple and berry Dole whip. The first impression isn't great, as the portion size was super small at first glance--smaller than I expected even for the small size, which wasn't super cheap. But as I ate it, I realized that it was filling me up more than expected, so I wasn't ultimately disappointed. But definitely go with the regular size if you are more than slightly hungry. The luau pig was tasty, if a bit salty (but that's sometimes the case in Hawaii, too). The rice was what you would expect, and the macaroni salad was a bit more peppery than what you'd normally get in Hawaii. (For the uninitiated, nearly all plate lunches like this in Hawaii come with white rice and mac salad.) My wife enjoyed the seasoned vegetables. And the Dole whip was about what we expected, too, though, next time, I would just get the pineapple without the berry Dole whip mixed in. All in all, we weren't disappointed, even if we weren't blown away. I think it's pretty good marketing for Hawaiian Bros to sell pretty cool logoed T-shirts for only $10 each, so you might snag one of those if you like them. I'm sure I'll be back again to try one of the other entrees here. You might want to go to L&L Hawaiian BBQ or Ono Hawaiian BBQ if you want a more authentic Hawaii plate lunch experience, but if you're looking for a more "mainland" Hawaiian-inspired place to chill and eat, Hawaiian Bros might just be the ticket. And perhaps that's the needed niche that they are filling. :)

This has become a go-to spot for our family in the last few months. Everything is good, menu is to the point and explanatory, and above all... the mac salad is delicious. That's how I judge a good Hawaiian restaurant. The location at pv mall is clean and bright and decor is cute.

Got dinner to go from here and it was pretty good. I know when you rate something three stars people often think it was bad, but that's not the case here. I would just say it was average compared to other Hawaiian restaurants I've been to, both in Hawaii and on the mainland. I had a mix of the Huli Huli and Honolulu chicken and both were good with good flavor. I was looking to get the Luau Pig, but they were out of it. I later heard that it wasn't great. The mac salad had too much mayonnaise for me. The restaurant was very clean and had a cool interior. The wait staff was friendly and helpful.

After seeing this brand around town I thought I would give it a try. They offer a few ways to order which is the norm these days for fast food concepts. I chose to go inside and use the self service kiosk to order. The inside was nice and clean. Timing of food to come up was fine. The interaction with staff was pleasant. I got the Honolulu Chicken and the Luau Pig plates. I also grabbed a Dole soft serve. I got that mostly because it was dairy-free and I wanted something cold and sweet. All of the food was tasty and fresh.

I had this place for the first time today, my husband loves it. From the jump, this is not the kind of food I normally go for - but I got to spiciest chicken w mac salad and rice. The chicken was great - no "gross" pieces, flavor was great tho def not a 3 flame heat, the mac salad was peppery and nice, and the rice was fine. My husband had a coupon for a free dole whip from the last visit but they said the coupon wasn't found in their system so wouldn't honor it - didn't love that customer service. Overall, it was fine...I'd eat it again

What a great addition to the PV. Hawaiian Bros Island Grill was a pleasant surprise. This is my second time eating at this concept. Food was fresh and delicious. Quick drive-thru service, too. The establishment is new, so it is clean and neat. The first time, I had a buy-one, get-one-free coupon. The second time, I substituted the awful macaroni salad for veggies and the pineapple skewer. Two meals (Honolulu Chicken and Huli Huli Chicken) and soft serve cost $30.70 (I had a coupon for one free soft serve). Pricey, but everything is high. Highly recommend.

I recall visiting my first Hawaiian Bros with my sister this past year when I was introduced to Hawaiian BBQ for the first time. Imagine my surprise when I noticed over the last month that one was opening near my area of town. Every day, I would watch when driving by to head to work and see if they were closer to opening. A few days ago, I saw cars in the parking lot after work and realized it was the staff being trained and preparing for the opening. I met a visiting trainer Miss Love at the door, who gave me a postcard inviting me to try a free meal (yesterday or today) and then information about Monday's grand opening. Today, I stopped by Hawaiian Bros for lunch and ordered a dish to go. I selected a mixed plate that included both Huli Huli Chicken (marinated teriyaki chicken grilled fresh) and also Honolulu Chicken (savory chicken infused with fresh garlic, green onions, and sesame). It came with a scoop of white rice with some extra teriyaki sauce and a side of macaroni salad. I added on a skewer of pineapple. I thought I also added on a side of vegetables (which normally I would substitute the vegetables and pineapple instead of the rice and macaroni salad) but I must not have clicked that when ordering on the kiosk. Everything that arrived was delicious! I knew I'd enjoy the Huli Huli Chicken but the Honolulu Chicken was a surprising dish which certainly competed with the Huli Huli Chicken very well. I didn't decide I liked one over the other so I'm glad I got a Mixed Plate. I also received a small Dole Soft Serve of strawberry and pineapple (fat-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, and low calories, also delicious!!) and a small drink. This particular location has a large indoor seating area and a nice patio with additional seating. There is a drive-through for ordering along with a second drive-through for online orders specifically. This will certainly motivate me to order online if I am taking it to go. There also was a merchandise stand inside and additional kiosks to order food. I enjoyed chatting with the employees who also genuinely seemed happy to be about to open up. There was also a spinning wheel with prizes after writing a Google review. When I spun the wheel, I won a "mystery surprise" which ended up being a gift card...hooray!! I look forward to coming back on Monday for the grand opening. While I won't be able to make it to the opening at 11 AM where the first 100 customers in line get a free gift card valued at $25-$500 and a t-shirt, they also get a chance to win free Hawaiian Bros for a year. I certainly encourage anyone interested in Hawaiian Bros to join the rewards program where you not only earn points but also earned a Dole Soft Serve. The website for Hawaiian Bros is https://hawaiianbros.com, where you can also order food online. I'm looking forward to coming back again and tasting another two dishes in a mixed plate. Yum!!

This past Sunday, Mother's Day 2026, I stopped in around 3:45 to pick up dinner with chicken teriyaki, beef bugolgi, tempura shrimp, white rice, and green salad. It was the only meal of the day that we each ate from the same establishment. After I ordered, I heard the guy cooking complain to the cashier girls up front that it would be awhile, but they didn't repeat the concerns to me, so I didn't pay it any mind. Overnight, Sunday night/ Monday morning, my wife and I both became violently ill. I think maybe that chicken that was gonna take too long to cook, wasn't cooked all the way. It doesn't matter how many times I've eaten here in the past without incident. That was an absolutely terrible experience, and I won't risk it happening again, just because the cook wants to get out of work early. I will never eat here again.
