I am genuinely baffled at how this place is so highly rated. The Tonkotsu ramen was not good at all. Watery broth, mushy noodles, limp spinach that tasted like it came out of a can, and pork chashu that was dry, tough and gamey. I've honestly had better instant ramen. It was that miserable. The service was OK enough, but the guy working the front looked greasy and strung out. Not professional/presentable at all. About the only positive I can give this place is, it didn't make me sick (which I was concerned about after eating about half my bowl). This place was a massive disappointment, and does not deserve the rating it has whatsoever. I'd be embarrassed to bring anyone here with me. read more

We found this ramen spot with great ratings so we just had to check it out and we definitely had high hopes. It was a friday night at 5:45 pm. My friend ordered the curry katsu rice bowl, I ordered the chicken ramen, and my bf ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen. The curry bowl was good, but he said it could've been better and that he has had better. But it tasted just fine, just nothing to spectacular and to-die-for. He did love the copious amount of green onion on top. My chicken ramen was also good and savory and I've never actually seen or had ramen with ground meat in it so that's why I wanted to try it. It honestly tasted like a fancier version of chicken noodle soup rather than feeling more like a ramen. It wasn't bad at all and was delish/hearty and noodles had a good consistency, but just doesn't live up to the expectations of it being a "ramen." My bf is a connoisseur of tonkotsu ramen so him ordering it was a big deal. He asked if it really was spicy and if they could make it spicier, but the waiter pointed and referred him to use the Sriracha to add more spice. I read a previous comment though of someone asking if they can make it "Extra spicy" and she had gotten what she wanted so I was just questioning that. When he got his bowl, he looked at it wondering if it was really his order because the broth was clear and expected it to be thicker and more creamy. He mixed it, tasted it, then asked the waiter if it was chicken broth or pork broth in which the waiter confirmed it was pork. He was questioning it the entire time he was eating it because tonkotsu is supposed to be a creamy broth and all other pics of the tonkotsu ramen on yelp showed just that. He did say that the char siu pork (or bbq pork) was tasty and tender. The spice ended up sinking to the bottom even after mixing it so it got spicier only when he was eating the last bites of the bowl. Our waiter was extremely nice and attentive in which I'd give 5/5 stars. Looked like there were only 2 people working that evening and we were the only people eating there that night. The environment is clean, but for some reason the tables are kinda sticky even after they looked wiped down. The condiment caddies on the tables with the sriracha/oil/soy sauce/shaker looked a little used and abused and seemed like some of the bottles/containers could be cleaned and refilled. We've just been to much better ramen spots in LA/OC areas so this didn't quite do it for us unfortunately. read more

Wonderful, quality ramen shop! Clean interior, tasty dishes with great, friendly and attentive service. Hadn't been here for awhile, but was in town and was in the mood for ramen. Today was my first day trying this place I ordered the spicy yaki ramen The flavor of the noodles was pretty good, but the meat did taste old. I also ordered the sukiyaki beef shoyu Ramen. It was honestly mediocre. The flavor of the broth was average nothing special. The noodles were OK. I've definitely had better. I also ordered the french fries And the spicy tuna on crispy rice I'm not gonna lie, these two were probably my favorite but that's only because you can never go wrong with those two appetizers. i've tried other Ramen places in the AV, but this one is just OK. Just had my 7th year anniversary dinner here with my wife and was utterly disappointed. A couple years back my wife and I attempted to eat in but they were not open to having people sit inside yet. However from the outside, the smell was absolutely mouth watering. It was then we vowed to return one day. Well yesturday was that day and unfortunately it did not live up to the expectations of a couple years ago. We ordered a Tonkotsu and Shoyu ramen, Chickem Karage and Chicken Potstickers (Only because they were out of pork) The Broth if both ramens was fairly bland. The meat of the dishes was well cookee so that was a plus, but thats all I can really say. The noodle even seemed cheap and tasteless. The Karage was just alright, they were not nearly as crisp as you might think. The Potstickers were nothing to rav about however they did have a beautiful golden crisp on the outside. On top of the food not being nearly as good as it should be, the tables desperately needed bussing. The entire time we were there, not one table was bussed and there were 3 tables with dirty dishes on them. In addition the top of the table we got was not nearly clean. I felt my hand stick a bit to the surface a time or two. In conclusion, this place got a B for their Inspection and I can see why. Its filthy and the food is more or less mediocre. The only reason I give this place a 2 star is because the waiter (the only one i really saw as they seemed short staffed as hell) took off my ramen specifically from our check because i could hardly eat it, my wife only ate hers out of sheer starvation. Skip this place, go to Love Ramen (My favorite) or Ramen Boy if you want good food, quality service, and a clean atmosphere. read more

My husband and I had been coming to this place since the day they opened. We don't live in Palmdale anymore, but we still come. Food is awesome. I love their bao buns and of course the ramen. My favorite is beef sukiyaki. Irvin always gives us the best service. Comp gyoza was awesome! Both the chef and Irvin are always very kind and polite. They listen to your specific orders. They may be struggling a bit this summer. This place is usually great. Ordered the cold noodle dish and every additive was skimped on except the pork and the pork was olf and dried out. There was maybe two leaves of spinach and a tiny bit if kimichi and almost no green onions. Only one person was working in the entire restaurant and no one answered the phone. I also noticed they had a B health department rating with a dramatic decline from their usual A rating. Apparently there are not adequate hand washing facilities and other issues. I really prefer the menu here to the other Ramen places but I will have to skip Raizel until they are able to fix their issues. read more

I'm vegan and my Mom mostly eats vegan so we were Super excited to try this spot. We both ordered the creamy vegetarian Ramen. It was yummy. I had to add a little soy sauce and some siracha to meet my needs but overall it was yummy. We shared garlic edamame that was gross. They burnt them so bad and since we did take out I couldn't let them know. I was a little annoyed about that. I had a very bizarre experience. There is a bearded guy (cook/chef?) who works there who was so rude to me. It is dark outside when the sun goes down with a barely lit parking lot. I hesitated before walking in to look at my phone. He apparently had seen me and accused me of loitering. I asked him if they were open as sometimes places close early. He said, "can you read the sign, we're open." He said you can't just hang out in the "Eastside" and he thought I was going to ask him to use the restroom. I did go in and buy several meals including takeaway, but he completely ruined the experience for me. Imagine how he treats unhoused people if he treats a paying customer like that because I think the comment about "using the restroom" was in reference to them asking to use the restroom. The other guy with the baseball cap was extremely nice though. I wouldn't ever go here again because of the bizarre, unnecessary attitude, rudeness, and hostility. I don't appreciate it. Bruh this valley is being cleaned dry and their curry fries and potsticker worth 5$ as a side order when you damn well they ain't worth more than 1-2$. Especially for the amount they give you which is very little. Quality is sub par and broth is watered down. Don't waste your money door dashing or delivering from this place if you want quality. Better off making your own for cheap, there are plenty of other better options for ramen a bit a ways from this establishment. Thanks for the disappointment.
