Finally, Indian cuisine has landed in Canton, GA. If you love Indian food or would love to try some - this is the place. I am thrilled to share how authentic and delicious ALL the food is here. Their $15.99 lunch buffet is spot on delicious. There is no complaints from this Yelp Elite, I enjoyed every bit of my meal. Then seconds too!! Please come by to celebrate this wonderful location and impeccable service from the staff. Your tables are laid out with fresh flowers, folded linens, and ceramic plates. The music authentic to the core with ballads sweetly filling your ears. Come out , fill a plate , and tip your servers. Thank you for the best meal I've had in a long time.

The new Indian restaurant is a welcomed addition to the Canton food scene. I wanted to check out the buffet. It was solid in many areas including being reasonably priced . The vegetables all had a great flavor. Mildly spicy across the board. My favorite items from the buffet were the cabbage, the lentil soup, the paneer, and the naan. The green mint sauce and raita were also quite good. The chicken dishes , while normally a huge success were all just ok. Nothing wrong with the cook on it but just a little bland. I'm ready for this place to stay and be phenomenal. I would definitely recommend you check this place out.

This was the best Indian food I ever had. We had the lunch buffet and plenty of choices. Food was nicely displayed, full of smooth flavor but not overwhelmingly spicy. There was only one vegetable dish that I didn't care for, but other than that, everything tasted crumpshious! The atmosphere was pleasant and simple. It was wonderful to drink water from a nice glass and have real cloth napkins at the table. Made the lunch seem more classy The owner checked on the quests and talked to us. We were not sure if this restaurant offered anything else to drink than water since that was brought to our table without us ordering drinks. This was truly a great experience! They do close daily between 3:00 and 5:00 pm and are closed on Mondays. For dinner, they don't serve buffet. I can highly recommend it!

    Sign says Raj Mahal.

The entire place. The floors and paint are worn out and smell. The doors are old and paint is all worn off. Entering the restaurant itself was pretty off putting. Then the rudeness of staff was unreal. I had placed an order for pick up thru a 3rd party site. When I showed up to get it they denied my order. Said that they were not Raj Mahal. Even though the address was correct and the giant sign on the building said Raj Mahal. I had already paid for my order over $40. And they refused. I said I needed a refund and he just said "too bad." Very poor all the way around. I got home this afternoon and found their health score. Failed horribly.

Restaurant was about to close to get ready for dinner. Owner said "you can come in" super Nice! I checked out the menu and buffet. This is a must try!!! He hands me a to go box... This picture is what he put together for me to try. He didn't want to charge me....so I made him take a tip. PLEASE go try them out. The food is fresh and Excellent, priced very fair and the ambiance is nice! Clean, bright, very kind, humble and friendly! I hope you get a chance to eat here soon!

Value: if you've never had Indian, this is a great way to try several items. $15.99 for adults, $12.99 for kids. So many great items to fill up on. Since we've been eating Indian since 1994, we usually get our favorite meals so we have left overs the next day. However, this buffet had a lot to offer! Service: Very attentive from the moment we walked in. Checked on us several times and cleared plates often, I do not like when buffets leave dirty plates piled up. Even joked with us about their "Indian cucumbers". Food: We enjoyed all of it! Tandoori chicken was surprisingly moist, sauces in each dish was very flavorful, fantastic variety. We enjoyed trying some new items we hadn't tried yet. We will definitely be back and will recommend Raj Mahal to others. Ambiance: It just opened, so not much decor yet. But it was very clean.

Pretty good for Canton. Not as packed since it's new. Wish they had more items in the buffet for Non-veg items.

From filling water glasses to clearing used plates to checking in us- various employees interacted with us with grace and professionalism. My two dear friends and I arrived at 12:30 and we were one of two tables occupied and the , 15 minutes later, the restaurant began to fill. The menu is tidy and to the point. Most dishes can be made with tofu, chicken, beef, shrimp or lamb. We jumped on some appetizers to start and they were all winners. Of the three-Chicken 65, garlic naan with roti sauce, and Paneer Pakora- I don't know that I could pick a favorite. They were tasty, freshly prepared and wonderfully presented. I chose chicken tikki masala as my entree and it was a home run. The boneless chicken was floating in a spicy tomato based sauce with a slight swirl of cream. I wanted a straw for every last drop. There were a couple of times during the meal when I got wonderful whiffs of the meat and other items being cooked. The charred, fired smell was enchanting. The place is located on the end a small strip of stores. There was plenty of parking. (I don't think I noticed what the other store fronts did next door). I have tried a couple of Indian restaurants in the greater East Cobb area and I will share this is at the top of my list. I loved it!

Everyone was getting the lunchbox so we decided to try the non-veg lunchbox ($9.99), it came with two sides, rice, naan, chicken wing, and Gobi. It was so much food and delicious. What a deal. Definitely recommend. We also got the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Wow, the tikka was amazing. The chicken was very tender, not dry at all and the flavor was perfect, it wasn't too sweet like a lot of other places which I love. The naan was so fresh. We've also started noticing a decline in the food quality; little things they do to cut corners such as extra breading on anything that has breading (like gobi manchurian, chicken lollipops, etc.). All the chicken chunks in their main dishes (chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani, chicken home style curry, etc.) are all cooked until they're hard as rocks and tough as a rubber band ball--basically inedible. The tandoori chicken lying around is fairly dry, with the exception of the drumsticks, but they're all cool/lukewarm. There's also significantly less customers than there used to be, with a Saturday prime lunch time basically crickets and flies--we saw 2 tables in the hour we were there and it was empty when we got there). It's on the lower end of a 3 star now, but I'll give it the 3 due to the flavorful sauces (minus the completely bland home style curry) and the desserts are still pretty good. I hope they stop cutting corners and focus more on food quality, but I think this is our last visit here. We always came here for the tikka masala (my husband's favorite Indian dish) and considering it's inedible...I guess this is it.
