I ordered sai Oua for to go, and this is what I received, burnt sausages. I don't think this can even be called food anymore. And I spent almost $50 for this meal. I've never seen a restaurant serve food this badly before.

It's been awhile and the flavors are back!!! The food was fresh and everything we had was pretty amazing. We ordered papaya salad, padsew, red curry, beef fried rice, pad phet and spring rolls. If I had to pick surprisingly it was the padsew. The noodles were delicious and they got the dark sauce to highlight the dish. I asked the waitress if they have a new chef and she said yes. You can totally tell. They are back on my good list!

Farmers Market Pop-up review. We always make it a point to hit them up when they attend the Hoopili Festival st. market. We love getting the BOGO pork sticks- Buy 4 bbq pork sticks get one free! We also usually get the curry and fried chicken plate, yum!

My only Thai food spot near home that I religiously get take out from! Finally dined in for a late lunch and it was quiet with fast service. Servers are always so nice and tentative. Food is astonishing! I sadly get the same thing every time because I just love these dishes so much :) pad si ew is my top favorite dish with extra beef! No where else makes it like them! I also recently started loving the green curry fried rice with chicken which is surprisingly a good alternative if you don't want to get curry and rice. I also usually get pad Thai but that would've been too much food for me and my friend given these portions are huge.

Thai Lao our favorite Thai restaurant on the West Side. Great Thai food perfectly prepared and delicious. Those Stuffed Chicken Wings are wonderful with the Sweet Thai Chili Sauce. We tried the Seafood Rice Noodle Salad. Wonderful dish light and fresh. A definite must try. For dessert the seasonal offering was the Mango Sticky Rice. Service was great. Nice cozy dining room. Take out options available.

Been coming to this Thai restaurant every since it opened many years ago. It's our go-to for Thai food. Dinner on a Saturday night at 6pm and there was only one other table filled. I suspect most of their business is take-out cuz there is a steady stream of ppl picking up. Anyhow, food is consistently awesome and so is the service. Highly recommended. Four stars.

This restaurant is a local Thai restaurant. I came in for some to go food a couple weeks ago. And then my visitor came in for some soup. And my husband wanted to try the restaurant on date night last week. Are used to go to my favorite restaurant in Pearl city, so I was kind of skeptical, but the food is really good.

Papaya salad that so bland, not enough sauce or vinegar.

Lunch for 2. Food was bland and tasteless. Service was ok. It was casual place. Won't be back. The price doesn't match the quality of food.

Discovered this restaurant at the weekly Night Market in Wai Kai and I've heard really good things about the actual restaurant. Their food stand did not disappoint!! Got their house special plate, which comes with pad Thai, lemongrass fried chicken and a choice of curry. This will get you full and satisfied ASAP.

I ordered stuffed chicken wings, yellow curry, spring rolls and pad thai all were disappointing the curry was super salty and no other flavor sort of bitter taste None of the food was enjoyable we used to love this place ,wondering if the cook changed so sad

Mussaman curry - bit on the watery side
    Raenae G.

I was craving some Thai food but wanted to try a new restaurant. Food here was flavorful. We ordered the following: spring roll, papaya salad, drunken noodles, mussaman curry, and larb. All of them were prepared as expected except the mussaman curry. I'm used to a reddish curry color but it wasn't. It was so good. All the dishes we ordered were seasoned well. Service was good. We came on a Sunday for lunch and it was not busy at all. Decor was simple and place was clean. I would come here again and try their other dishes.

Do you serve stuffed bitter melon soup?

    What are the vegan options?

You can do tofu pad Thai without fish sauce & egg. Still delicious. Or Panang curry with no fish sauce/meat. They're pretty accommodating with dietary restrictions, just ask :)

The garlic chili paste has definitely leveled up in heat since my last visit--noticeably spicier but still packed with that deep, garlicky punch. It's truly one-of-a-kind, and one of the main reasons this place stands out from the many pho restaurants I've tried. No one else does it. They also serve Vietnamese iced coffee the traditional way--with sweetened condensed milk and coffee that you mix yourself. Most places pre-blend it and serve it over ice, but here you get the full experience, exactly how it's meant to be enjoyed. For food, I ordered the chicken pho, while my boyfriend went with the combination pho. Both bowls were very good. The broth leaned on the lighter side flavor-wise, but it was clean, comforting, and generously filled with tender chicken pieces in my bowl. My boyfriend really enjoyed his combination pho, which came loaded with a variety of meats. The side garnishes were plentiful and fresh--lemon wedges, bean sprouts, basil, and even culantro, which is a nice touch you don't see at most pho spots. We also ordered the spring rolls. Two rolls cut in half, crispy on the outside but a bit doughy inside. Flavor-wise they were pretty mild--okay, but not a standout. Service was fast and friendly, which made the experience even better. It was quiet when we arrived around 10:45 AM, but by the time we left, most of the restaurant had filled up--always a good sign. Overall, a comforting, nostalgic visit with some familiar favorites and a few subtle changes. Still worth stopping by, especially for that garlic chili paste and iced coffee. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

Other Thai restaurants pack their curry with filler, but this place doesn't! Their curry is the absolute best and their staff are always welcoming snd friendly. I would just go here for the great food alone, but the great staff makes it with an easy 5 stars. Parking is a little rough here, but that's because people are always eating here so you may need to pack a little far away. There is only one handicap stall, and so be ready to walk a little. Pricing is fair. Things have definitely gone up, but if you want cheap Thai food you won't get this kind of quality. I easily spend $50 to $100 on two people when I eat here so it's more of a treat and not an every day meal. It's great food and so I only get to treat myself when I can afford it. We can't live in luxury every day, and this Thai food is definitely a luxury! Their current restaurant dining area itself has an authentic Thai vibe, and sometimes they even play Thai music on the digital screen in the dining area. It has been so difficult to find one as perfect as they were. So, we are very well experienced in Thai food even in Thailand multiple times. Ordered green chicken curry, Pad Si-Eiw, spring rolls, rice. The spring rolls were good, lettuce leaves were tiny but fresh, dipping sauce was great too. The green curry was so awful tasting that we didn't eat it. I've never had green curry that didn't even taste like thai green curry like this. Not sure if fill in cook at lunchtime or what but it didn't even have coconut cream in the sauce. Had to take home to fix this problem, worst ever and would never recommend. Same with the Pad Si-Ew. Totally flavorless! You could tell they just threw it together with precooked pork, precooked broccoli, and tossed it onto the noodles barely fried in a dead sauce of nothing. Another total failure. Do not recommend this or any if this is how they prepare their food. Rice was standard. Will never return to this location again. Can't imagine where or how the good reviews came from but from our experience, they weren't even close.
