    Yellow curry
    Sean L.

Review:3.5/5 This is a small food truck next to waikele marketplace in a parking lot. There are two tables with 3-4 chairs each. Expect a 10-15 minute wait once you order your food. They will give you a buzzer for when your food is ready. I got Yellow curry, (which is my first time having). The chicken seems boiled so it did not have much umami flavor like it would have if it was seared. The curry sauce itself isnt spicy, but was quite sweet. The carrots were a bit too firm for me while the bell peppers were too mushy. This variance in texture really affected my eating experience. I have been one other time and i got the green curry which i enjoyed more (The vegetables had a better texture). This foodtruck is reasonably priced if you are willing to wait for your food. I would recommend this place if you are in the area but I would not go out of my way to eat here.

My son and I love pad thai, and this truck is located at the upper level parking lot, hidden in the back of Coach store. They are at the end of the line of lunch trucks when you enter the parking lot between coach and perfume store, so I decided to try here after reading the reviews. Pad Thai - 3 stars - For $14.75, they give a lot of noodles. Even if it was in a half size container, the noodles are totally packed in. However, I didn't care too much for the taste. I could really taste the fish sauce, and It was a little too fishy for me. The flavor didn't blend together and didn't have a flavored taste like the pad thai noodles I order at different establishments. The beef was also a little tough. My son also didn't care for the fishy taste either. Service - 5 stars - made to order, so I had to wait a while until they cooked it. Very nice mom and pop truck. Lots of parking since it is at the Waikele Outlet stores upper parking lot

Thairrrific!! Tucked away in the back of Waikele Outlets there's a driveway between Coach and Perfumania is an additional small parking lot which is home to a few food trucks as well and PJ's Thai Kitchen is the last truck in the back. This cute little blue truck dishes out some freshly made yummy dishes as I ordered the tofu pad Thai and thinking they'd hand me it instantly was surprised to actually hear them cooking it to order, though the wait is not long at all I did take a moment as many dress up their area with various plants and decor I did noticed they did so with herbs like basil, Thai basil and lime plants. I did a little picksy and wow the fragrance of it all just lit up my palate ready for my lunch. Pad Thai here is delicious cooked not too saucy just amount of seasonings, the staff here is just a delight, fast and hot yummy dishes are served here and that's what makes them so thairrific! Thank you!

Food is amazing! Service is awesome, they even remembered my parents! I had it for the first time tonight, my parents LOVE visiting here when their Thai craving kicks in. We will definitely be back again!

My wife ordered a $28 bowl of Tom Yum soup. It was excellent, and she loved it! She's been to Thailand, so she knows what it's supposed to taste like and PJ's hit the nail squarely on the head! Superb food, nice tables with umbrellas nearby. Highly Recommended!

Delicious Thai food and great value for your buck. They're generous with their portions. Got the green curry with beef, has a little spice to it and it comes with 2 scoops rice which is a major plus. Their pad Thai was good too. Very friendly workers, you may Have to wait a bit, which makes sense cuz tasty food is not created quick, I love it. Will come back again. Happy eating. Location: When you enter the upper Waikele shopping outlet, This is a Food truck located on the left side of the additional parking lot area where other food trucks (Korean and Mexican and Chamorro) are located past Perfumania.

Service was great! Their padthai was pretty good, curry was pretty good, however, the biggest disappointment was their summer roll. It was awful! It was like eating dried foliage AND extremely overpriced. There's only HALF a shrimp in there!! HOW is it that expensive?!! It's just a price gouge to me. I would just stick to their curry and padthai, but note, there are better places. This is just for convenience as I live so close.

Other Thai restaurants pack their curry with filler, but this place doesn't! Their curry is the absolute best and their staff are always welcoming snd friendly. I would just go here for the great food alone, but the great staff makes it with an easy 5 stars. Parking is a little rough here, but that's because people are always eating here so you may need to pack a little far away. There is only one handicap stall, and so be ready to walk a little. Pricing is fair. Things have definitely gone up, but if you want cheap Thai food you won't get this kind of quality. I easily spend $50 to $100 on two people when I eat here so it's more of a treat and not an every day meal. It's great food and so I only get to treat myself when I can afford it. We can't live in luxury every day, and this Thai food is definitely a luxury! Their current restaurant dining area itself has an authentic Thai vibe, and sometimes they even play Thai music on the digital screen in the dining area. If you eat here then prepare to be immersed in Thai culture!

It has been so difficult to find one as perfect as they were. So, we are very well experienced in Thai food even in Thailand multiple times. Ordered green chicken curry, Pad Si-Eiw, spring rolls, rice. The spring rolls were good, lettuce leaves were tiny but fresh, dipping sauce was great too. The green curry was so awful tasting that we didn't eat it. I've never had green curry that didn't even taste like thai green curry like this. Not sure if fill in cook at lunchtime or what but it didn't even have coconut cream in the sauce. Had to take home to fix this problem, worst ever and would never recommend. Same with the Pad Si-Ew. Totally flavorless! You could tell they just threw it together with precooked pork, precooked broccoli, and tossed it onto the noodles barely fried in a dead sauce of nothing. Another total failure. Do not recommend this or any if this is how they prepare their food. Rice was standard. Will never return to this location again. Can't imagine where or how the good reviews came from but from our experience, they weren't even close.

Stuffed chicken wings - 5 stars - 4 chicken wings stuffed like spring rolls, but in a crispy batter. Green curry - 5 stars - very flavorful, love the taste. The sauce has great flavor, I wanted to bring it home, but my son finished it all, even the sauce! Thai Tea - 4 stars - strong with a charcoal flavor. My son loves it but too sweet for me. Service - 5 stars - waters filled, waiter was great. However, they do charge 3% fee for using credit card. Parking - lots of parking in the back on the second floor if full in front. I do not recommend parking in the lower 1st floor parking lot where the bars are even if it is shaded.

She loves going to temples and loves Thai food so I definitely was excited to explore this temple together. Based on the address on Yelp, I got lost for a good 10-15 minutes. I almost gave up but luckily spotted it and had to do a U turn and we finally arrived. So I arrived 10 minutes before the food stalls closed but honestly they stayed opened a bit longer than their closing time. As I saw ppl arrive even later and was able to still make purchases. I do have to say that they do start cleaning, and not everything is available as things were being sold out. They have a table for you to grab utensils and condiments. There are some tables you can sit and eat the food that you purchase. Most of the food I purchased was about $10 each. And you pay each stall that you are at. My mom and I enjoyed everything we ordered, if only we were staying in Hawaii more days, we would definitely come back or even order more. The hard part is that they do not have a website and they are not open every Sunday either. So try calling or just randomly go and pray that it will be opened. I honestly really enjoyed my visit. Both a cool temple to go see and being able to eat authentic Thai food it was an extra bonus. 2 thumbs up from this Yelper. I highly recommend coming here if you have not been. Ordered: *Fried Bananas *Papaya Salad (you can request how spicy you want this) *Pork noodle soup *Sugar Cane Juice *Fish Cake *Water Bottle $1 *Pork spare rib Tips: *Cash Only *Restroom available. *Outside temple street parking in the dirt or pull in and try your luck to find parking.

When I got there I remembered I got papaya salad from this place years ago but it sucked and that's why I never went back. Anyways, I walk in and don't get a greeting from anyone. Whatever. I pay for my order and then that's it. No "Thank you", "Have a nice day!" Just silence. So already the customer service is pretty shitty. I get home and open up my container and then I'm like wtf, the shrimp were all cut in half. Why would they even do that. That shit is so weird. You basically put like 4 shrimp in my plate and cut it in half. The salad came with 2 sauces, a sweet chili and a watery one I thought was fish sauce. I put the watery one on and it was so sweet. I was like wtf is this!? Plus the papaya was so tough. That salad was so junk so now they are 2 for 2 for bad papaya salad. I'll remind myself to NEVER go there again. I would give them one star but my son said their pho was alright so they get two. However if you're looking for good papaya salad and good customer service, this place ain't it.
