Turkey sandwich had a better name than I can remember now, but it was good.

Rather surprised by the quality of food in their airport restaurant. Turkey sandwich with bacon, lettuce, cheese, slaw and other stuff was quite good. Waitress recommended the fries over the Mac and cheese, and she was right. My brother was happy with his sliders, but the side of Brussel sprouts weren't the best ever. Mango tea, however, was delicious.

As far as airport food goes, Raleigh Taproom was solid! Waitresses were friendly, attentive, and the food was delivered at the brisk pace one wants when eating at the airport. It may seem like an odd combo to others, but when I saw wings + charcuterie board on the menu, I promptly sat down and ordered a healthy pour of white wine. The charcuterie & cheese board was nothing to write home about, but the simple selections were what I wanted (even found myself scooping up some of the decorative salad greens). The wings were average, but the abundance of crumbled blue cheese from the board unexpectedly up-leveled my choice. Will definitely eat here again when I pass through!

Typical hotel bar with overpriced drinks but the vibe was good and the people were friendly.

Convenient place to sip on a local brew while waiting for our flight. Depending on the time, it can be busy and service is slow. The bartender was friendly and efficient, but definitely overworked. During busy times, they should staff two employees to work the bar area. That way the counter can be cleared and cleaned more frequently. Only order food if you have time to spare. The food is good, but pricy and takes a while to receive. I recommend the chicken tenders with fries and the coffee hidden pipe. This taproom is not a place to stop if you are short on time before your flight leaves. It is also challenging to hear announcements when dining in this establishment.

Friendly and prompt service. Interesting menu items, despite still being a covid-limited menu. I had the portobello sliders. They had great flavor and the buns were toasted perfectly, but there was about one bite's worth of actual portobello in each slider. The sidewinder fries were like potato wedges and I really liked them. I didn't have a drink, but they do have a full bar, lots of beers on tap and wine.

This is actually in the Raleigh-Durham airport. If you are looking to try some local brews while on a layover or waiting for departure, then it's good. I basically ordered their take on poutine which was fried potatoes, gravy, steak, and a goat cheese. The steak was cooked and then sliced. Either it was horrible cut of steak or they made a poor choice when slicing because it was really tough! I'd come here again, but maybe try a different appetizer to go with my beer! Also, I overheard many people complaining about their wait (over an hour in some cases) and some were about to miss a flight while waiting for their food! So you may want to make sure you have plenty of time when coming here or that's it isn't too busy.

Update to below review:…read more I've been here 5 times now and have a better feel for things. They have games here too...things like Uno, trivia, battleship, trivia, jenga, etc. It's kid friendly during daytime hours and the occasional food truck is really great! It was rockin' last Friday night--musical Bingo followed by Kareoke w a food truck and great 80s 90s music playing w sports on the TV's. Everyone I meet is a parent or part of a family, so extremely friendly, and my sis's dog got to meet another dog even so it was just really amazing to see a neighborhood embrace this bisiness so quickly--obviously it was the missing piece. Even more of a reason for 5 stars! __________________ Cute new neighborhood bar. Dog water bowls inside and out, 3 big screens w sound wired to all inside, pool table, sofas, hightops bar seating....20+ beers on tap and a liquor menu focused on bourbons and some whiskeys and scotch--but they have a little of everything. Service was polite and speedy. Ambiance / atmosphere / vibe was clean w a little industrial vibe w the cool ceiling. Foid trucks rotate in regularly--this place is great and dog-friendly. I can't wait to see it grow as this is the 1st written review and I'm just visiting my sis who lives in the neighborhoid (I live in Richmond VA). 5 stars.

We had three different beers from this brewery, one in which appears to be no longer in production. The discontinued one was a pale ale by the name of Peacemaker. It was refreshing and enjoyable to have. Flavor features with this beer are that typically seen with a pale ale which are hoppy, malty and sweet. The beer is very light bodied which is nice and very smooth. Unfortunate that it's out of production. The other two beers we had are still being made. One was Shotgun Betty which is a Hefeweizen. Not bad but sometimes I struggle with Hefes and the strong banana clove flavor which was the case here. It was good that it was light bodied like most Hefes are and smooth also. The final beer was the Sweet Josie Brown Ale which I think was my favorite. The sweet, malty and coffee flavors are very enjoyable and like the prior two beers a nice smooth body to this fine dark beer. I am glad I recalled this brewery experience as I felt it was important to post the beers we had and what we thought of them!

Vickie was already there when I arrived and had ordered the Queso Skillet. It was a great way to start the meal. The sausage gave it a nice flavor and paired well with the queso. Although The Goat has a full bar, we both opted for soft drinks. I had a club soda with cranberry juice, which was mixed well and refreshing. After enjoying the sausage in the Queso Skillet, I ordered the Nonna Tavern Pizza with Italian sausage, caramelized onions, banana peppers, and basil marinara. Whatever blend of cheeses was used, the pizza was delicious. I also had a side house salad with apple vinaigrette, which was very tasty. Vickie ordered the grilled salmon and said it was quite good. The service was very good, and the space has a modern industrial tavern feel with upscale farmhouse and brewery-inspired design elements. It feels casual and comfortable while being more polished than a typical sports bar. One feature that sets The Goat apart is its coffee-and-breakfast concept. The coffee, breakfast, and work area is separated from the main restaurant and resembles the kind of modern, uncluttered coffeehouse you might find in a contemporary hotel or airport lounge. It creates a welcoming space for morning coffee, breakfast, or remote work before the lunch and dinner crowds arrive. After my visit, I learned that The Goat is operated by LC Hospitality, an Ohio-based company that has expanded the concept to several states. The Brier Creek location is one of multiple Goat locations, giving it the feel of a locally focused establishment while benefiting from a larger hospitality organization. Overall, this was a good experience. The food was enjoyable, the atmosphere was inviting, and the prices were reasonable. The combination of restaurant, tavern, coffeehouse, and social gathering space makes for a unique dining environment in the Brier Creek area.
