Turkey sandwich had a better name than I can remember now, but it was good.

Rather surprised by the quality of food in their airport restaurant. Turkey sandwich with bacon, lettuce, cheese, slaw and other stuff was quite good. Waitress recommended the fries over the Mac and cheese, and she was right. My brother was happy with his sliders, but the side of Brussel sprouts weren't the best ever. Mango tea, however, was delicious.

As far as airport food goes, Raleigh Taproom was solid! Waitresses were friendly, attentive, and the food was delivered at the brisk pace one wants when eating at the airport. It may seem like an odd combo to others, but when I saw wings + charcuterie board on the menu, I promptly sat down and ordered a healthy pour of white wine. The charcuterie & cheese board was nothing to write home about, but the simple selections were what I wanted (even found myself scooping up some of the decorative salad greens). The wings were average, but the abundance of crumbled blue cheese from the board unexpectedly up-leveled my choice. Will definitely eat here again when I pass through!

Convenient place to sip on a local brew while waiting for our flight. Depending on the time, it can be busy and service is slow. The bartender was friendly and efficient, but definitely overworked. During busy times, they should staff two employees to work the bar area. That way the counter can be cleared and cleaned more frequently. Only order food if you have time to spare. The food is good, but pricy and takes a while to receive. I recommend the chicken tenders with fries and the coffee hidden pipe. This taproom is not a place to stop if you are short on time before your flight leaves. It is also challenging to hear announcements when dining in this establishment.

Typical hotel bar with overpriced drinks but the vibe was good and the people were friendly.

Friendly and prompt service. Interesting menu items, despite still being a covid-limited menu. I had the portobello sliders. They had great flavor and the buns were toasted perfectly, but there was about one bite's worth of actual portobello in each slider. The sidewinder fries were like potato wedges and I really liked them. I didn't have a drink, but they do have a full bar, lots of beers on tap and wine.

This is actually in the Raleigh-Durham airport. If you are looking to try some local brews while on a layover or waiting for departure, then it's good. I basically ordered their take on poutine which was fried potatoes, gravy, steak, and a goat cheese. The steak was cooked and then sliced. Either it was horrible cut of steak or they made a poor choice when slicing because it was really tough! I'd come here again, but maybe try a different appetizer to go with my beer! Also, I overheard many people complaining about their wait (over an hour in some cases) and some were about to miss a flight while waiting for their food! So you may want to make sure you have plenty of time when coming here or that's it isn't too busy.

Update to below review:…read more I've been here 5 times now and have a better feel for things. They have games here too...things like Uno, trivia, battleship, trivia, jenga, etc. It's kid friendly during daytime hours and the occasional food truck is really great! Dog water bowls inside and out, 3 big screens w sound wired to all inside, pool table, sofas, hightops bar seating....20+ beers on tap and a liquor menu focused on bourbons and some whiskeys and scotch--but they have a little of everything. Service was polite and speedy. Ambiance / atmosphere / vibe was clean w a little industrial vibe w the cool ceiling. Foid trucks rotate in regularly--this place is great and dog-friendly. I can't wait to see it grow as this is the 1st written review and I'm just visiting my sis who lives in the neighborhoid (I live in Richmond VA). 5 stars.

We had three different beers from this brewery, one in which appears to be no longer in production. The discontinued one was a pale ale by the name of Peacemaker. It was refreshing and enjoyable to have. Flavor features with this beer are that typically seen with a pale ale which are hoppy, malty and sweet. The beer is very light bodied which is nice and very smooth. Unfortunate that it's out of production. The other two beers we had are still being made. One was Shotgun Betty which is a Hefeweizen. Not bad but sometimes I struggle with Hefes and the strong banana clove flavor which was the case here. It was good that it was light bodied like most Hefes are and smooth also. The final beer was the Sweet Josie Brown Ale which I think was my favorite. The sweet, malty and coffee flavors are very enjoyable and like the prior two beers a nice smooth body to this fine dark beer. I am glad I recalled this brewery experience as I felt it was important to post the beers we had and what we thought of them!

Looking for authentic Irish pub vibes in North Carolina? Trali Irish Pub absolutely delivers!…read more I had to order the Shepherd's Pie, and it did not disappoint. Rich, slow-cooked beef stew topped with a beautifully swirled layer of creamy mashed potatoes--it was the ultimate comfort food. To pair with it, I enjoyed "The First Squeeze," a refreshing wheat beer from a local North Carolina brewery that complemented the meal perfectly. I planned to skip dessert...but then I spotted the Baileys Cheesecake on the menu. Resistance was futile, and I'm so glad I gave in! It was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. It was about 6pm and the dining room was about half full, but everyone seemed in good spirits and many were watching the World Cup. The hostess sat me at a table near the entrance and facing the bar, I had a book with me to catch up on and planned to read a bit. Within a few minutes, the server came around, showed me the beer list and asked if I wanted anything else. When she returned, she saw that I had a book and very attentively asked if I would like to be moved to a quieter table... yes please! She mentioned that a 16 top was due any minute and they'd be taking up the large bar top in the center of the room, and it'd probably get pretty loud. She then talked with the hostess, and they moved me into, the library, of all rooms... how apropos... It's literally adjacent to the open bar area, but walled off and with a definite library vibe. I was sat in a corner table and with perfect ambiance. Looking over the menu, I couldn't really decide on a dish, but I wanted something more traditional Irish. I finally chose the Boxty potatoes topped with corned beef and it was a perfect portion. Everything came out to the table quickly, perfectly hot, and portioned well. I loved the mix of flavors and textured from the baked mashed potato to the shredded corned beef, and finished every single bite. I finished two chapters of my book and was pleased to see another patron in that room also reading. All in all, a night well spent and will definitely return when I'm in the area.

Wanted to check out what Durham had to offer during my stay in Raleigh, so hopped over Line and came to this cute cafe! The residents living in the apartments that were built next to this place are pretty lucky! Our server told us that The Goat holds a lot of activities for them and the pool area is a nice place for residents and restaurant customers can hang out and play games. We got the biscuit flight. Perfectly buttery, fluffy on the inside, with ample crispy edges! The honey and berry dips were god, but the pimento cheese dip was out of this world! I like pimento but I'm not the biggest fan because everyone makes it differently. My pet peeve is a Mayo forward pimento. The Goat Pimento cheese seems to be made with cream cheese and I didn't taste any Mayo, so THIS is how I prefer my pimento cheese! I couldn't get enough of its savory goodness, then going for a honey or berry dips for that sweet salty sensation. The coffee service was annoying. Our server brought out the biscuits before the coffee, so I asked about it. About 3 minutes later a girl came with my husband's cappuccino and my coffee was in a glass filled to the brim with ice. I immediately said, wait I didn't order iced anything, I drink my coffee hot and she immediately snatched it and walked away without saying a word! That was a strange way to treat a customer who has not only been waiting for late coffee but when the coffee came it was all wrong! We were almost done with the biscuit flight by the time my Lavender Honey Mocha with Oat Milk HOT came out. I will say that it was a delicious cup, however! Worth the wait??? Well I ended up asking my server for a to go cup for the coffee. The last nail in the coffin of The Goat not getting that 5th star is getting a plastic to go cup for a cold drink. By this time I realize they were never gonna get it right. So I just pulled my warm coffee into that plastic cup, prayed the microplastics and toxins from the plastic cup would spare me this one time and kept it moving.
