Worst checkout experience every time. They never have enough check stands open; usually only one or two. It's impossible to get in and out of this store. I don't know why they haven't at least converted a couple of the check stands to self checkout. It would probably be quicker for me to drive down the road to Savemart or Target. read more

I ordered a Thanksgiving dinner for my folks. They are very limited on their driving so didn't really want them going out to dinner on this busy day. (I wasn't able to be there for Thanksgiving. I live in southern California). I ordered it online and the initial reviews of Raleys was very good so I felt confident this was a good choice for them. I had it scheduled to be picked up by a friend of theirs around noon on Thanksgiving day. Raleys called them the day before and said that it was going to be hectic on Thanksgiving and could they get it the day before. Long story short, they picked it up, and were so pleased! They were accommodating and so friendly! My folks had a very nice Thanksgiving dinner and mom didn't have to cook, just heat it up. Thank you Raleys for making available a Thanksgiving feast for those that aren't able to do it themselves. Awesome! read more

Every single person that works here moves slower than a snail. No one had a smile on there face so the wait times are even worse when you don't have a happy face to look at. Everyone knew that they had call ins and understaffed. Made the entire experience unpleasant. Working in customer service myself you fake it till you make it. And if they all just smiled and hustled no one would see they are understaffed. In general tho anytime I come here it's always a slow pace in the entire store. Every department. I try to avoid this location like the plague. I want to like this location because it's close to home. read more

It's a dated store as far as looks and some amenities but it's MY STORE! They know me here now and I drop a lot of bills almost over the course of a few days in between each visit! I know I can do special orders of the items I buy larger quantities of without issues. I enjoy the staff as I get to see the same players each time I visit. I come to Raley's on occasion for dinner items and it is a fairly large grocery store. There are a lot of fresh veggies and fruit in the produce section which I enjoy. There is also a bakery with a wide variety, bonus! The deli has a wide variety. The meat selection is mediocre compared to other places I shop but they do have good cuts of meat for a good price. There is a large alcohol section as well. When you check out here you don't even have to take it out of the cart, they take it out for you. The lines aren't fast but aren't slow either which is a plus. Sometimes customer service is quiet, but that's ok, I'm sure people get tired of talking all day. Good Afternoon, so I have shopped here many times and I must say they have great customer service. I asked for help looking for something and associate was busy unpacking boxes. Instead of pointing and telling me what # row to go he walked me over and showed me where it was. I also was happy when I found mint I have been looking at a few different stores for mint and I found organic mint. There store is always well kept and clean. A bit on the higher cost for foods but it's in a nice neighborhood so I can imagine why. I recommend you shop there. read more

I work down the road from this particular store and find it a convenient spot to grab some quick lunch to eat at my desk. I always figure when walking in... 'Oooo here we go with the grocery store deli's... this should be fun" But everyone there is actually very pleasant. I swear the first time I walked in the store everyone was being reviewed by the big boss... everyone was smiles and "can I help you!"? around every corner... but that's just the way the folks are here. The ladies in the deli are super. Always gracious and willing to help. Also, they don't get snotty when you ask for a sample of pasta salad. They are more than delighted. If you are a fan of a good sandwich and you are not going to the Raley's deli then you are missing out. I have stopped in on my way to work and Nona has made me some incredible sandwiches. She is always happy, friendly, and full of great conversation. There are plenty of sandwich shops in town, but none come close to the quality or service that you get from Raley's deli. read more

It's a fine and clean grocery store. They have whatever you need there. But it is more expensive than most grocery stores you will find. Also it was a little discouraging that anytime I go into the store people Give me this weird expression as if they are not used to being around black people. I always have people trying to avoid eye contact and avoid helping me. And a lot of fake smiles. I'm not being overly sensitive this is the only store that I noticed that that happens. read more

This is probably the worst Raleys I've ever been to. Horrible service, people need attitude adjustments. They don't greet customers, they are rude and snappy. I'm sorry but you work in CUSTOMER SERVICE! If you don't like your job and customers are always first this is not the job for you. 1 out of 10 might be friendly but the rest walk around like they don't want to be there. I have been shopping at this local Raley's for well over 20 years. I have been quite loyal, buying from the store weekly on average. I know that I often pay much more to shop here, but I enjoy interacting with the same employees year after year and having access to some unique goods. I recently switched to their pharmacy as well. A few months ago I started noticing a change in service, but believe this is due to price checking of their competitors and questioning whether I am receiving the value for the difference. One tech in the pharmacy I found to be overly curt and not very warm. If you don't accept GoodRx (even though it shows you in their system), put up a sign noting such so that it does not feel personal or one doesn't feel bad for asking. When I shopped yesterday for both my family and my older neighbor, I politely asked the checkout clerk (I've seen him hundreds of times) when they may get more eggs and he told me that the next "dairy shipment" comes in on Monday but they have no idea if there will be any eggs in the shipment. When asked if he knew when they may get more flour, as my son is allergic to nuts and I cannot use many alternates, he said they have no idea. What? Does that mean just go away? I am extremely disappointed. When you tell a customer no or that you cannot help them, you at least empathize and offer something. Such as "we understand; more eggs are coming on Monday morning sometime so I suggest you order online early Monday morning so we can set a dozen aside for you" or "that must be challenging; let me check on when we may get AP flour again." I felt that the responses were along the lines of "too bad" and "you're on your own." I understand it is a crisis, but to the fairly-compensated and employed Raley's team, please know that the crisis will end and loyal customers like me will not forget how we were served when we needed your help the most. read more

I'm always greeted by Nancy with a big friendly smile in the Deli. She is fast and efficient as I am usually on my lunch break and pressed for time. The store is well organized and clean . I highly recommend this store and its deli for it's good food and helpful staff. read more

I have to say, this Raley's has been declining in service for a little while now. The service at the deli section is almost non-existent during lunch hours and the staff if fairly rude and will not even acknowledge customers. Also, no express lane is causing a delay when checking out 5 items or less and waiting for other customers with full carts. I'm not sure how long this store will stay open at the current rate. read more

Everytime I come shopping here there is always people standing in line down the aisles with 2 registers open!! I had to grab a few items tonight, not counting how many items I had (didn't look like much) so I got in the express line. The cashier did NOT even greet me to say hello, the first thing out of his mouth was "ummm, it looks like you are exceeding the 20 item limit! And he looked at the customer behind me and said "wow, I would have yelled at her!!!" And I said, yeah well I guess I am, I wasn't about to stand in a line that had 5 people standing down the aisle so my ice cream could melt, and by the way last time I came to stand in this line i was in this "express" line for 20 minutes waiting on the customer in front of me wanted to give you coupons after coupons! So after Vergil (or however you spell his name) rang up all my items he made it clear how many items I really had! Hmm, looks like I will be calling to speak with a manager. I'm sorry but that is not how you should greet your customer regardless how many items I have, you should be happy I am shopping here!! read more

I went to this store twice last week. There is a sign at the entrance reminding shoppers of the face mask requirement but I was disappointed to see three shoppers at a check out on one occasion and two shoppers on the second occasion, without masks. I stood close by the register on one of those occasions to see if the cashier would say anything about the mask requirement, but nothing was said. I am an elderly man with many health problems, and all it takes is ONE person without a mask to spread Covid. You don't have to be confrontational with mask-less shoppers: how about opening a few boxes of those paper masks you sell and offer them to maskless shoppers for 50 cents, a dollar. If they decline, politely tell them they cannot remain in the store. I've been shopping this particular store for years, but if I go in one more time and find maskless shoppers, I won't return until the pandemic passes. read more
