Pharmacy is disorganized and unprofessional. I came around 12:30pm to drop off a prescription, they said it would be ready in 15 minutes but I told them I would just come at 4:30 after I'm off work and they said that would be fine and it would be ready. So I get here at 4:45pm to pick it up and wouldn't you know, it's NOT ready! Are you kidding me? These people had 4 hrs to get it together and now they tell me that I'll have to wait even longer? Absolutely ridiculous. I will stick to my regular Walmart pharmacy, I only came here for convenience since it's right by my work. No sense of urgency, they don't seem to respect other people's time. Not to mention I heard about three or four HIPAA violations while waiting for my rx. NOT COOL. Sitting here waiting and they come up to me to tell me that the medication my doctor ordered doesn't come in the dose he prescribed. WHY ARE THEY JUST NOW TELLING ME THIS? So now I'm waiting even longer for them to call the doctor and authorize a change in dose. This all should have been taken care of hours ago when I dropped it off. Do not come to this pharmacy. What's going on with this store? I've been shopping at this Raley's for 20-something years and it was always a good experience. Although, I would like to say that removing the pharmacy was a huge disappointment. Lately, however, this store has gone downhill. Still good people, but the shelves are poorly stocked, the carts are all over the parking lot and the store is just dirty. I have recently gone to the Safeway at Cirby and Sunrise. Wow...what a difference. I hope management is aware, if not the culprit, so things can improve. I don't see this store staying around much longer if things don't change sooner than later. read more

I like coming to this Raley's location for grocery shopping because it's one of the bigger locations (the one by my house is tiny!) and so I have always been able to find everything that I need here. They have a small (but nice) greeting card/stationary section up front, as well as plenty of checkout lanes. My favorite thing that they carry is hands down their Vegetarian Nut Burgers which are in the frozen foods section. SO GOOD. They also have really good frozen authentic cheese ravioli in the frozen foods section that come in a box. Amazing! They don't really have an "Organic/Natural" foods section like some of the other Raley/Bel Air stores, but I find that they still have all the same organic and natural foods just mixed into the regular sections which I enjoy. They have a nice produce section in the middle of the store and a large meat/deli with a lot of cheeses and speciality items. Yum! Their sales can be really good and surprisingly their regular prices can be competitive with the big box stores. Sure, sometimes they are slightly more expensive, but I would rather pay a little more and feel good about where I am shopping any day. read more

Beyond pathetic in customer service. The ladies at the deli counter (& by the way one of them was a manger) was the rudest person I have encounterd - Everytime I pop in I am highly disappointed because of the service. Then I called to find a specialty item once and the manager on the phone told me she had plenty of them. I arrived at the store to find out they had none & never did- after asking the mgr. who I spoke with she made it very clear-- you didn't explain the item well enough. I ask what did you think I wanted and she said she was too busy and hopefully another Raley's had my item. Woo- now that's a way to get rid of a customer! read more

I wanted to let management know that Ashley is an all star employee who is always positive, friendly, and helpful. These days, it's hard to find good people in any business. Ashley is a great representative for your brand and it seems like everyone in the store respects her. She's great every time we come in for groceries and we go out of our way to wait in her checkout isle. She's someone who should be training and developing employees at the corporate level, so make sure you hang on to her and keep her happy. Part of the reason we shop at Raleys is because of how awesome ASHLEY MAKES THE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE. Kudos to Ashley and her team. read more

A woman who spends $100+ at 10:00 at night should not be asked if she would like help out. SHE SHOULD BE HELPED OUT WITHOUT ASKING. These lazy baggers just want stay in and chat with the checkers. I expect more for my money than that. I'll definitely be making the extra effort to go elsewhere, where they either don't pretend to have baggers helping, or really do have excellent and "intelligent" customer service. I have had other "not so good experiences" at this store, but this will suffice it. Also, the selection in this store is average. Stop going to Subway for sandwiches people. Jarod's done losing weight and he is on to something else. If you are in Roseville go treat yourself to a real deli at Raley's with fresh meat carved at the store, bread baked at the store, and produce purchased locally. I don't have to work at Subway to know the meat shows up to their store frozen with preservatives. Stop buying sandwiches full of lettuce, pepper, onion, olives, tomatoes, peperchini, and extras that compensate for skimpy meat portions. I'm usually hungry after eating one of these foot longs after only a couple hours. The small sandwich from your local grocery deli will be a great improvement to what you get from Subway. The meat portion in a small grocery deli sandwich is equivalent to what you get in a foot long, plus it's fresher! My sandwich today filled me up. They are specialty sandwiches that cost $5.50. Today I got the Santa Cruz with brown roasted turkey breast, Havarti cheese, avocado, hickory smoked bacon,tomatoes, mayo, organic spring greens on a French roll. It was nicely packed and wrapped in snob hill, I mean Nob Hill wrapping. It was deliciously satisfying. Most of these grocery store deli's also have great made to order paninis. Want to lose weight? Pick up some fresh fruit instead of a bag of chips and then pass on the large fountain diet drink. Cheers! read more

This is for their pharmacy only. I've been coming here for the last couple months. A month ago, I found out you had to ask from auto refills. They never offered it so I had to wait in the store for 30+ min. They don't even have to fill my prescription! It's already prepackaged!! So I signed up for the auto refill and it still hasn't kicked in yet. On Friday, I called for my refill at 4 and they tell me to come back on Saturday after 3pm. Seriously?! 2.5 hours before closing?! Their hours on the weekend suck. I line up at 12:59 and the tech tells me she's closing and opening at 1:30. Seriously. Thanks a lot. I don't understand why the service sucks so bad here.... read more

Sent their "clip rewards" offer for a free Hallmark card. Went to the store on Douglas Blvd. First thing that struck me was how small their card section was (I usually go to the Madison & Hazel store). I found a card, but it rang up at full price. I showed my phone and the two clerks (one was in training) agreed it should be free. They called the clerk at the next register over. He asked if I had just "clipped" it; no, I did it earlier in the week. He had me come over to his register. Surprise, surprise! The same computer system did the same thing. He told me he was going to call the service desk. I told him to forget it and picked up my other items to leave. He said I still had to pay for them (they were free "clip rewards," too). I said they were free and had been rung up by the first set of clerks. I couldn't figure out why he had them cancel out the first transaction, had me move to his register, did nothing, and said he was going to have to call someone else when everyone looked at my phone and saw it said I was supposed to receive a free Hallmark card! Crappy selection of cards. Crappy service by the guy who, I assumed, was more senior, knowledgeable; why else did the two clerks at the original register I went to ask him about this situation? read more

This Raleys isn't quite what it used to be. As Gary said, it's still a convenient, acceptable store, but nothing to rave about. The employees have always been nice and are usually quite helpful, but recently they have seemed stressed due to (i'm told) under-staffing due to the economy. The prices are higher than other area stores, and as of about a year ago, the management re(DE)organized the store, scattering similar types of items around on different isles. Condiments are now on several different isles. Soda water is on one isle if you want cans, another half way across the store if you are looking for bottles. My best guess is that it was a marketing strategy to encourage shoppers to browse more, encouraging more impulse buys. It just encourages me to shop elsewhere when I can't find the bread I'm looking for because it's in the "other" bread isle. read more

I've been doing curbside pickup and it's excellent! They'll call you to ask whether you'd like to substitute items if they're out. If they're out of an item size you'd like, they'll substitute it for two smaller ones which is awesome. Raley's curbside pickup team is great! read more

This is the best place for produce. Our family usually buys the majority of our products at another store however this is the only place that I feel comfortable buying poultry, fruits and vegetables. I stopped in today to get a couple of grocery's, and needless to say my experience was not the best. I was in there for less then 30 mins and got multiple dirty looks from staff members even though I smiled at every single one of them. When it came to check out the checker was also very rude, went through my items quickly didn't talk to me or give me eye contact for that matter, and was not asked if I wanted help out. I'm pretty disappointed considering I shop at multiple Raley's & Bel air store's in the area all the time. This is the only store I've experienced with terrible customer service, will defiantly not be going back to this location. read more

I came to this location because my son was having surgery across the street. I wanted to order a sandwich. The deli staff were not friendly, and informed me(at 3:30pm) that I could only have my sandwich on sliced sourdough. They said they were out of any other bread. I asked well can't they use the packaged bread from the bakery? To which they told me yes, if I wanted to purchase the whole package. I did not have time to be arguing with these people, so I ended up using the sliced sourdough. But I was completely taken back by the rudeness and the way they just did not want to try and help me. I understand that they have a lot to do everyday, I work in a grocery store myself. But I would never treat customers the way I was treated. It just made a horrible day a little worse. read more

The cashiers of this place are their saving grace. Every one is sweet and very friendly. They are the reason I keep returning but there is definitely room to improve at this raleys. Take it from me I worked in a grocery store for years so I know the business. First problem I have with this store is their lack of ability to keep up with updating prices. What I mean by this is an item may say 2$ but it will ring up up at 4$ which is a hassle and kind of like lying to your customers. The other problem I have with this raleys is the deli service can get so backed up you might wait there for 15 minutes and that is totally crazy for a grocery store deli. Maybe they need more staff in the deli. Having said that the mac n cheese is very tasty. read more

I love when I call in to Raley's and get transferred 3 times to have a question answered and after 6 minutes the phone hangs me up..There is way too much competition in this area to put up with this bullcrap. The customer service here is fantastic! Went to get formula for my son..they were a few cans short that I needed. They worked quickly to find a resolution and I ended up with a bigger can because of this nice cashier :) my son had just ran out beforehand and now I have even a little extra! I've given this store numerous tries mainly because it's close to my house, but I will not be shopping here anymore. This is the worst Raleys I have ever been to. The stocking is not the same as most stores but the worst part is their meat department. I have bought multiple "trimmed" tri tips from them for 8.99 a lb that once I remove them from the packaging are not trimmed at all. They trim them just enough and then put the bad side down. It's just lazy and when you pay that much a pound at a raleys i expect good quality. read more

Do NOT bother using their e-Cart for your shopping, and if you do you could have a rude awakening as I did today. Ordered online Wednesday 4/8/20 - first available day to pick up was today 4/13/20. When I filled my cart I was not told that any of my items were not available. So silly, made the assumption the items were in stock and I would have them on Monday (today), so I didn't try to find the items elsewhere. Today went to pick up my groceries at designated time. Waited about 25 minutes for the groceries to be delivered to my car. When they arrived they were in a brown lunch size bag. I asked where the rest of my order was and was told they didn't have the items. REALLY.... I know how crazy times are right now but they don't pull the items when ordered or don't bother calling or emailing me to tell me don't bother as nothing I ordered was available. I waited 5 days for something that they didn't have. Unfortunately this whole experience has soured me on Raley's and Belair and I will no longer shop there. read more

So tired of the lackluster svc here: I get friendlier svc at Winco!! Tonight was no different. As I walked up to the cashier, Cori K, she was too busy bidding her bagboy farewell for the evening, to offer me any sort of greeting. As she scanned my items, she finally said something! But it was "is plastic ok?".....she was then swept into the conversation regarding gift cards which was going on at the next cashier, her eyes were focused there, listening to every word. This next cashier is the older lady with the short hair who is always working in the evenings with the younger empls. I would advise her that she should be coaching these empls on customer focus as well as thanking customers. Tonight's svc was DISMAL. I have been a customer here since the store was on Harding Blvd.... and watched the svc deteriorate. No wonder their market share is dwindling. Look no further than the svc that your empls are providing! ** by the way, I had just done some shopping at Nugget Mkt before going to Raleys. BOTH the cashier & bagboy were focused on ME the customer. They both smiled, were friendly, and they both thanked me! I left that store with a good feeling. read more

#RaleysPriceyButNotsoNicey I have been noticing Raley's quality lately, and my family is not being happy with their produce they are selling. I got some bunches of asparagus yesterday and when I was about to cook 'em today, there were some hidden dried asparagus. It's like half of a bunch were all dried-up asparagus with stray grasses too. Brie Cheese as well, is so disappointing. Raley's is still selling cheese with "sell by date 03/13/2015", when I got it yesterday afternoon 03/14/2015. Somebody's not doing their job. Last week, when I went to another Raley's in Antelope, I passed by Asian aisle. I saw indian ready to eat mixed food in a pack, I thought, it would be nice to try, so I purchased. I got home and ate it and I thought it was an actual taste of an Indian Masala. When I was reading the label, I saw the "Sell By Date"...It was 12/13/2014. I stunned for a moment and it got me thinking, " I just ate 3-month-old-passed-the-date packed food". Thank god I didn't get stomach ache. Raley's please do your work. I spend almost $300.00 worth of products you're selling every 2 weeks. Your store's name is very synonymous to the words quality fresh foods. As a customer, I don't think it is my job to check on your "Sell By Date" each time I go to your store. I come there to shop, pay for the items I buy and expect fresh products from your store that I would serve to my family on the table. Your products are kinda pricey, compare to the other store. Customers, like me, come to your store knowing it would cost me more to buy stuff, but sometime we don't mind because at the back of our mind, we know it is worth it. The worst Raley's/Bel air! My neighborhood one is in antelope but this one is right by my job so it's sometimes convenient but it's sad that I have to dread coming in here. After today I will never be in here! Times are hard and everyone is trying to save money every chance they get. Raley's and Bel Air had a special of 4 items for free with a $20 purchase. I got my bill up to $20 and found the 4 items that were free. I always calculate my bill ahead of time so I know what to expect to pay. I notice my bill was about $4 over! So I look over my bill and the free chips and free bananas never came off my bill. Well no big deal ill just go in and tell them. Wrong! The workers tried saying "well I didn't hear anything about free bananas" when clearly the paper is sitting write in front of you and the first thing listed for free is bananas! Second I said my chips never came off either. The workers again argued with me saying its not chips you got but just raleys potato chips when clearly the add states raleys brand chips with a variety of potatoe & kettle chips to choose from and I picked the raleys kettle chips! So now they finally get the manager involved and she goes to get me my refund and I said I just want to see my receipt and make sure your giving me the right amount and the old white female manager made me feel so stupid with the look she gave me for even asking for my money back for the FREE items they advertised and for even wanting to double check I was getting the right amount back! I was completly embarrassed and humilated for coming back in for $4 because of how the unprofessional manager handled the whole situation! She should not have that title what so ever! I refuse to ever come back to this location because this is not the first time I have been mistreated at this location! read more

In fact, over the last year, at all Raleys stores the employees are pretty cranky - at best, not happy employees anymore!
