I made an appointment for the service department about my check engine light on my 1 year old Hyundai Elantra.  I told them I thought it was probably a loose gas cap, but the light didn't go away 3 days after I fixed it.  They said they'd check, and the girl ran through the estimate of what they'd be doing. After all the warranty stuff, she casually threw in, "and an oil change".  Ummmm.... I didn't ask for an oil change, and you didn't ask me if I wanted one.  Well, I needed it, and even though I could save maybe $10-15 dollars by going somewhere else, I decided to let them do it for convenience.  I just REALLY hate the shady way they went about trying to get me to do an oil change.  She asks if I'm going to wait, and I said "Well, I don't know.  If he could check and see what's wrong, and give me an estimate of the time, I'll decide if I am going to wait, or get a ride home."  She said that they'd do that. An hour and a half later I asked if they knew yet what was wrong so I could decide if I should keep waiting. The answer... "They just finished the oil change and will be hooking it up to see what the check engine light is." Really??? They couldn't do the check engine light first for me? Another 45 minutes later, they call me back to tell me they're done, and it was the gas cap.  I thought well, at least I got my car cleaned. (I'm used to Honda who detailed our car when we got service done.) Well, they did a crappy job washing it, and their vacuum is broken so they couldn't vacuum it, but "did their best". They didn't even shake off the mats. Nothing. So much for that little perk.  THEN to add insult to oil change injury, the sticker they put in the car said I should come back in another 3,000 miles for another change! The owner's manual states that under normal driving conditions it should be changed every 7,500 miles. They didn't ask me what my driving habits are. Just put that sticker in there.   Bottom line, I'll be driving to the dealership in Santa Clarita next time I need warranty repairs or maintenance.  Oh, but they do offer free popcorn and a water fountain while you wait for hours. And they apologized for the wait. read more

Here's an unfortunate update to my vehicle since the last post the fuel injection pump as well as the transmission has been replace. This vehicle still exhibits issues as it has a tendency to lung forward even when the gas it not being pressed. Purchasing this vehicle has been one of the worst decisions that I could have made. The vehicle currently has 7900 miles. Rally GMC in Palmdale has done to help remedy this issue when they know that this car wasn't worth selling it to anyone. If I could give the a zero I would. I am thankful to the Service Manager Johnny and his team for doing all they can to right the wrongs of the sales department. Still, I strongly encourage you to spend your money elsewhere. Rally could have easily put me in another vehicle as stated by the sales manager Tony. read more

Went there to look for a used vehicle, spent about 30 minutes staring to a particular car no one came out and asked me if I needed help, got little upset and started walking towards the office, some short old man came outside and asked me if I was looking for something, what kind of question is that?, he wasn't professional at all, I told him never mind and walked away. I'm an old educated black man and I get offended really easy I don't tolerate any type of discrimination. Later on that day I found out the old man who came outside with attitude is the sales manager and his name is Paul. I can imagine how the rest of the sales person might be.... This is the worst car dealership to purchase a car. My son bought his first car here 2 months ago with Salesman Bryan Gelfo. He was sold a lemon. Car did not start a few days later the tire popped needed a new tire new battery plus brake fluid. Everything has gone wrong. $1500 of repairs . And the car still does not start and chokes off . We are now using a lawyer . They took full advantage of a first time buyer. He also lied to my face when I asked him if everything was new and replaced. Don't get service here. Over tighten under tighten and left a mess on my drive way. First visit was great second visit horrible. I will go back to doing my own service now I needed an alignment so I asked for an oil change as well. After the service I didn't get to see before alignment specs. Only the finished results I came in with a pulling problem and wasn't sure if it was the new tires or the alignment the before specs would have been nice and one of my tires was under inflated 10psi after the service. The icing on the cake was me doing the oil change again 60 bucks for Mobil 1 and 6 bucks for a filter also cleaning up the oil spots on my drive way not to mention a new drain plug because the old one was ruined most likely didn't change the gasket and over tighten the plug never going back to this dealer. I bought my car here four years ago. The dealership wasn't too bad, though I was paying cash they didn't seem that interested in making a deal. My husband made the deal due to the fact I was away on personal business. The service dept. is horrible, the worst I've have ever experienced. When my car was under warranty they could NEVER find the problems. But when my warranty expired they seemed to be able to find it. The service reps there have a high turn over. They keep your car for a couple of days and don't let you know it until you call them. They say things have been fixed, but you soon find out it wasn't fixed when you have your car home. My Husband and I purchased our first new car last year from Rally. Was not happy with the service and didn't really get into the car we wanted. Our Salesman merely went through the motions trying to explain the features of a car he new very little about. We didn't feel very informed about the car or even the process in which we took to purchase it. We felt like it was a sign here, sign here, and sign here kind of experience rather than being excited about our purchase. Our budget was about $15,000 and we walked out at $33,000. Granted the payment was ok with us, we felt that we were not fully informed of how much our trade was taken in for, how much we were paying in interest and what the cost of the car was after all the dealer add ons. It was frustrating. The car we wanted was a Mitsubishi Lancer and we felt that despite exactly what we wanted we kept being convinced towards the car we have now. Ultimately it was our decisions to walk out of the dealership with the price and the car, however no one should ever feel like they should settle because of the dealership not listening to the needs of its customers. Will never purchase a car from Rally again and we are in the process now of cancelling our other services with them. read more

HORRIBLE, MISLEADING, STRAIGHT-OUT LIARS!!! All of the differant sales people DRUG ME THROUGH THE MUD and tripped on their own lies. I wasted driving 51/2 hours and neigotiating on the phone 3HOURS PRIOR to buy a car that was already sold and "HIDDEN" out back when I arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still was told I could buy the car and took me for a "Wild Mr.Toads Ride" speeding to the out skirt streets then let me get behind the wheel. When we returned, a man with a mean tone and look on his face said "give me the keys" and my sales man would not. I have concrete facts such as emails and phone call times and names that PROVE my experience. Aso a witness was with me to all of this. They were so un-professional that a fight broke out in the showroom among all the salesmen , my sales person sat me in a cubical and said" HURRY GET THE PAPERS FILLED OUT!".After the mayhem he said "sorry I can't sell you the car". DO NOT TRUST BUYING A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! HELP PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS which I have no doubt will happen. Horrible Dealership. I had to take them to court after they sold me a car with frame damage at full price and as 'certified' which is illegal. BEWARE! When I was trying to deal with them on a personal level, the used car sales man called me a 'sucker' and laughed at me when I asked him what he was going to do to correct the scenario. Horrible Service Department. I had to replace my keyless entry remote. After buying the physical remote at the parts counter for over $70 they told me I had to take it to the service department to have it programmed. The service advisor was so rude and didn't want to be bothered. He told me it would be a minimum 2 hour wait and an additional $52. I ended up returning the remote to the parts counter and they were upset that they had to refund the purchase. I went over to AV Chevy and I purchased the remote for $56 - took it over to service and a tech came out and programmed it within 5 minutes. I was in and out of AV Chevy in just over 10 minutes. read more

1st time shame on you 2nd time shame on me...We took our Cadillac XLR into Rally for service against our better judgment seeing as how the last time we did it developed a mysterious coolant leak...We took it to a different mechanic to get that fixed and were told where it was leaking it was impossible to develop under normal wear and tear...so this time after a year of intermittently running fine then not starting (by turning over fine minus my wife not knowing to kill the electric start and letting it crank until it ran out of battery) it finally permanently died. Having a cursory knowledge of engine operation I told the Service person Robin as did my wife it has to be the fuel pump...she came back with it had a bad alternator (huh?) and that it would be $1900 to change it( I guess LSD isn't just for breakfast anymore!!) I told how does a dead alternator and subsequent dead battery heal itself after a few hours and run fine again for a week?!? So then they decided it was in need of a $600 crank sensor too...so after I asked them to sober up about the alternator miraculously almost $1000 came off the price...so, a week later finally working on our car they call to tell us good news! It's not the alternator, rodents had chewed the wiring and that's all it needed was to fix that! Well after no word for another 24 hours the super genius' called again to say the new wire harness didn't fix it and it looks like it needs a fuel pump!!!! No joke!! So 9 days and $2300 later we take it home...runs fine...accept now it has an above average oil leak...naturally everyone in service is with customers or out to lunch today so I'm taking it to Yelp!!! So either their mechanics are wildly incompetent or something is loose on purpose...ill find out from who our new mechanic ends up being...good job Rally you forgot that you can shear a sheep many times but you can only skin him once!!! read more

I recently brought my vehicle to Rally GMC. Initially, I was very skeptical about dealing with a GM service department because of the terrible experience that I had with the different automotive dealership in the Antelope Valley. That dealership was totally unprofessional and incompetent on many levels. This was not the case at "Rally Auto Group", a certified GM dealership. I was particularly impressed with the professional friendly service that I received from two service technicians Iris Martinez and Tonya Martinez. These two service technicians were not only extremely professional in how they conducted themselves, but they treated me like a valued customer from start to finish. My vehicle was in the service shop for 3 days due to a serious issue. I was kept informed throughout the entire process. I never had to guess as far as what was going on with my vehicle. When I received my vehicle after the repairs everything was as it should be. They even washed the vehicle for me. From the start, Iris gave me total confidence that I would be taken care of properly. On the second day, Iris was off for the day. Tonya called me and brought me up to speed with what was going on and made sure that I was clear as far as what I should expect. She assured me that they would do their best to get my vehicle returned to me without any further issues. I was even offered a shuttle to come and bring me to the dealership if I needed a ride. These two individuals made a potentially difficult experience a pleasant one and it is because of the type of professional service and attention that I was given as a valued customer that I will definitely return as a customer to Rally Auto Group for both my future vehicle service and possible future vehicle purchases. I bought a 2015 Sierra Denali last year. It was a pleasant experience. My wife got into a minor collision about a month ago, so I thought I would take it into Rally body shop for the repairs. I took it in, Craig was the associate, said he would contact me in one or two days. I waited three days and called him. Alicia (the receptionist) said he was not at his desk, she would have him call me. (no call back that day) I called the next day, he was on the phone. He would call me back. (no call back that day) Called the next day, He was in the middle of writing up an estimate. He would call me back, (no call back that day) Called the second time that day, He was on the phone, He would call me back. (no call back) On Tues of this week, I went to Rally. Alicia said Craig and His supervisor Where in a meeting. I said "To prevent a scene in the waiting area, it would be a good idea to get one of them out here, Now." Craig came out. I said "What have you done so far about fixing my Truck" Craig said "Nothing." I advised Craig To have my Truck brought up, I would be leaving, My business with Rally was concluded. I drove over 2 hours because their website said a vehicle was available, and over the phone their "internet" sales manager said it was available. However when getting there, the car was not available but they were more than happy to try and sell me something $15K more expensive. No thanks. That's why I called before driving 2 hours. Brought in my 2018 GMC Acadia to have the oil changed, they said it would be 1.5 hours ok fine I'm ok with that four hours later and I'm still waiting. They offered to wash it I said that's fine, when I pick up my suv it's still covered in dirt looked like they just washed the front windshield and wiped down the rest of the SUV with a wet rag. Didn't even bother to say anything it's not the first time this service center disappoints. I will never return that's for sure. read more

I drove in with NO appointment and was lucky that Jeff Bevington volunteered to be my Service Advisor. He quickly worked my truck into the brake shop and very soon had a diagnosis. The brake mechanic personally explained to me the problem so competently that I was comfortable authorizing him to do whatever HE felt was required, with the instructions "Whatever It Takes". The parts department found new rear drums and had them available on that same day. The brakes on this 1998 K3500 Sierra now feel and work like new.. Excellent teamwork. Very fair price. Very quick turnaround. Then, although nobody had mentioned it, they also WASHED the truck, something I only noticed when I was getting in to drive away. I love this Rally Service Center! P.S. They also have a free self-serve popcorn machine, this alone being worth a visit! read more

Went in for an oil change and was treated like a queen and my daughter a princess! They greeted us at the car, walked me inside and offered us a snack or drink. From there I went over to get my paperwork filled out by a polite gentleman. We decided to use the shuttle to go to brunch & shopping. When the car was done, they came and picked us up (shopping bags and all) and dropped us off to a sparkling clean car. Very nice experience for my first time doing this on my own as a widow! read more

The employees at Rally KIA in Palmdale in the service department are rude especially Raul and they are very unprofessional. The only nice employee is no longer there which I don't blame her. We always took our car to Rally KIA for an oil change and they always charged $29.99 this time I took it in and they charged me $44.99. I asked to speak to a manager and one of the employees in the service department pretended to be the manager and in a very rude tone told me that because the price on the parts went up I was going to be charged $44.99 from now on and if they continue to go up the price for the oil change will continue to go up. NEVER going back and NEVER buying a KIA again. No wonder they ask you to buy the extended warranty. These cars are pieces of junk. read more

Customer satisfaction not a concern I purchased a new tricked out truck and after the fact found that that 6 hours negotiating a good deal was all lies from the start. Love my new truck but, I am always going to have to live with the fact that I paid way too much and was given way too little in trade in value. He finally able to get it down to $21,500 on the phone. So he drove there from mt baldy which is 2 hrs away; n found out its not the all wheel drive car that he is looking for. Basically the salesman just waist his 2hr to go there n another 2 hours going back for NOTHING!. NOT to mention the gas he has to spent driving his truck to go there. N the money he lost for not going to work so he can get this car. I never write yelp review bfore, i decide to write this bad review to warn others about this dishonest dealership.
