Do not use this place. These guys are terrible. I bring my car in there complaining that my engine is shuddering. Told them that it does this a lot at varying speeds. The mechanic supposedly takes it for a quick 10 minute drive and tells me I need to get both axels replaced for $1700! I asked them repeatedly if that was the problem. They said it was. I asked them will they make sure to check everything before replacing the axels and they said they would. Well when I came to pick up my car, I drove it off the parking lot and it was still shuddering!!! I bring it back the for them to look at it again. They tell me I need to have my transmission replaced. I had already taken it to a transmission shop in which they told me that it was not the transmission. I told that to these guys and they told me it was the transmission and that they would give me $900 off for the labor cost of replacing the axels. I told them that I did not trust them to do anything else to my car and that I would appreciate the $900 refund of the labor for putting parts on my car that I did not need! They told me that they will check one more thing on my motor and spent an hour resetting the transmission and it started to drive normally. This was even more aggrivating since they put new axels on my car that I clearly did not need. Wanted to replace my transmission because they were too lazy to do their job of evaluating a car. I would never recommend this place and thing these guys are just swindlers and crooks. There was another couple picking up their car there that had their transmission replaced too. I hope it was a repair they truly needed but I doubt it. Please use someone else, these guys are just terrible. read more

Got brake light bulbs changed and under 45 minutes after work, the guy at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly.

I needed to have my water pump replaced and two oil solenoids were leaking snd needed to be replaced so I took the car in on Tuesday morning and picked it up at lunch time. I had what I thought needed to be replaced was a battery. I called several places before reaching Chris at the front desk. He was so friendly and inviting. He told me to come in to see if a battery was what I really needed. They ran the diagnostic and showed me that was what needed. He had the battery delivered and installed fairly quickly. 42 month replacement warranty and a pro-rated warranty up to 5 years. All for $50-$70 cheaper than all other places I called. He also pointed out their oil change prices which were $45 lower for synthetic than what I'm used to paying. Would highly recommend this establishment! read more

Update - received a call from the manager Robert and we had a meaningful discussion about my experience. They have expressed their apologies and we have come to a mutual resolution. These guys are good and they are quick. Based on my call from Robert I am changing my review to 5 stars and definitely coming back! These guys are quick! Chris is very friendly on the phone and in person. These guys are pretty good at what they do and they don't oversell, which I like. Where they missed the mark was telling me about a level 1 diagnostic and having a level Tech, but FAILING to tell me that was extra! "Come on for a free 15 minute diagnostic check, then we'll get our level 1 tech on it". Left my truck for a bad ignition coil, misfire on cylinder #4, and then picked it up a few hours later. $344. The over he phone price was $202. But when I came in to get my car.....Bam! $344. "What happened to $202?" I asked. Oh, we put our Level 1 tech on it. Gotta pay his rate...." They never told me it was extra for level 1 tech. MAKE SURE TO ASK WHAT THE "ALL IN" PRICE IS AT THIS PLACE!! read more

I took my vehicle here a couple days ago. I am happy with their service and I would recommend them to a friend.

Brought my SUV in on Monday for a coolant leak. My vehicle didn't have any noises coming from it. They put one on and told me to come pick it up. I turned the engine on and noticed it didn't sound the same as when I dropped it off. I called and told them about it, then brought it back. They changed it again and saw the noise was still there. The third time they said they were putting a GM part on it. I go pick it up, start it up. the noise is still there. I sent them a video referencing the noise. They asked me to call them. I called them on Thursday and they told me that the guy who worked on my car was certified and knowledgeable and he did everything correctly. Was also told that he used a special tool that was needed to prevent the very noise I was hearing. And that It was a timing issue and not the water pump. So I stated that before they did the work, it made no noise? I was told that maybe they caught it before it went bad. And they have done all they can do. $1500 later, I'm stuck with a nosey SUV and have to go spend more money for someone else to figure out what THEY did wrong. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!! read more

I have been taking my car here to get fixed for many years and they're always very quick, they're always very nice and courteous, and they don't gouge you on pricing or try upsell you on things that you might not need at that moment. Although lately my car as been having a million issues, they keep it together for me. They do not scare you into purchasing something immediately and Danny (owner) has always given me the best price. Kyle (who answers phones and helps with much), has never been anything but great to talk too. Recently, I lost power in my car, first I thought it was the battery but when it wouldn't keep running after I started it, these guys are who I go to first. I trust them completely. I knew it had to be either my battery or alternator, so it was quite comical (and very kind) of others to try to jump start the suv. Until it started smoking. I had to buy a new battery and to my frustration, also a new alternator. I drive a 2007 Lincoln MKX so some things are hard to get to. Danny gave me a price less than I expected to pay and was very sweet about the state of mind I was in by the time I went to pick it up. I consider both Danny and Kyle friends and although they can only service higher end vehicles, I'm grateful they keep mine running. I never have to worry about problems, because they don't pressure you or stress you out about problems the rest of the engine has. If it doesn't need to be fixed today, or immediately, they say so. They will tell you what you need next, and how long you can drive it without making the problem bigger and more costly. Also, because I am a woman, other places have taken advantage because they think I don't know what something should cost or add a bunch of stuff to you're quote that isn't completely necessary before it gets to be a bigger problem. I was going to go here to get some struts replaced. They offered to do it for $400 (I have the parts) I called another place and they could do it for $180. Called Fix n Go back and the lady said that she would try and price match, but it turned out they couldn't go that low. So if you come here trying get something repaired that requires a lot of labor (as opposed to something like an oil change), I highly recommend that you at least get a second opinion or estimate from another location. Not the cheapest place you can find around here. I did give them credit though for trying to price match, and being honest that they couldn't go that low. read more

After reading the great reviews for Fix N Go Plano, I took a 2011 Jaguar XF in for routine maintenance. That visit went well, and they identified some other work that needed to be done. I arranged a date to take the car in to have the control arms replaced on the front of the car, a leaking rear strut repaired, and the brake fluid flushed and replaced. They had the car for two business days. Upon pick up, I found that they had completed the control arm, and brake fluid tasks, but had not repaired the strut even though I brought it up when dropping off the car. Fix N Go has their good points. The people are very nice and personable, and I have no reason to doubt their honesty and knowledge. It's just that it's hard to arrange leaving a car for an extended period, and I just need a bit more organization. I'll keep looking for a place to service my cars. read more

I bought a set of new tires from F.N.G. After having trouble with the tires only weeks after purchasing them they would not warranty them. They told me "yes, some of our tires have a warranty but not these". That's not what they told me when I purchased them. If you decide to purchase tires from F.N.G. get your warranty in writing. read more

This place is horrible, they will scam you if you don't know about cars. I spent over 1000 here for a repair and I took the invoice to a different, more trusted, mechanic and they informed me that the work listed on the invoice HAD NOT EVEN BEEN DONE and they charged me for nothing. Will never come here again and they better hope they don't screw the wrong person cuz they're looking at a law suit if they keep it up. So sad they would treat a single mother this way. read more
