Been living in this area for 37 years this was my store for my grocery shopping. Sunday morning came in to buy my daughter an arrangement of Flowers for her birthday . I was so happy they had a couple of arrangements I can choose from as I got in line to purchase them I had a great conversation with the cashier Angel A about how my daughters birthday was today and and our plans for the day . After I payed I Realized I forgot to get a floral card & pick so I walked over to the floral station where I seen a lady named Linda and I asked her if she had a Floral card and a pick for my arrangement cause I forgot as she passed me one I placed my Receipt and keys on her table as I prepared it. I said thank and walk to get a Starbucks coffee cause there's a Starbucks inside. As I was waiting for my coffee I was approached by a lady name DENA Bailey . She asked me are those your flowers? I said yes then she said are you sure cause you never purchased theme? I said excuse me I was so embarrassed let me remind you there's other people waiting for there coffees to watching and staring. I said are you Accusing me of stealing them she said well you didn't go Through any line to purchase them and you don't have a receipt I said I have a receipt right here. I felt embarrassed, insulted and discriminated. Then she said oh ok and walked away like nothing . I have worked for a grocery store for 20 years side by side with management and we never would accuse anyone of stealing unless we had an eye witness, talk to a cashier about a purchase, which there was 3 checking at the time or viewed a camera . I waited for 10 min for my drink she had plenty of time to do any of those three things. I think she was very unprofessional and very rude I will not be coming to this store EVER AGAIN read more

I always liked this Ralphs! It's open later and my family has been coming here for most of my groceries for 10 years, I grew up going to this Ralphs. Today, I went for sandwich ingredients, and a pregnant woman with a baby, young daughter, and broken English asked me to pay for her groceries. I didn't realize how many she had and was so flustered I just paid. I later found out after returning with from my family she is a well-known repeat scammer in the area that they recognized from previous trips to this Ralphs. I came back to let them know that a scammer was returning repeatedly to prey on gullible Ralphs members, and asked them to check the feed so they would be able to recognize her and possibly prevent others from running into the same situation as me, but the main manager Bob kept insisting he couldn't refund the transaction even after repeating multiple times I didn't need the money back, then laughed in my face saying "well there goes your money!" and calling the scammer a racial slur. he then insisted on the legal right of the scammer to beg. I had to leave the store because his belittling laughter and victim-blaming made me start to cry. Again, I recognize that it was my own fault, I do not blame them for myself being scammed. As manager, you should ask someone to leave if they are a known predator. At the very least, don't laugh at a crying customer. My family's never coming here ever again. read more

Very upset at the service that I received at Ralph's tonight from the representative Vicky. There was hand sanitizer available listed as 2 per household. I went to the store with my friend and he was going to purchase it as well. Vicky was at the register and started yelling at me "Excuse me! You're only allowed 2!!!" At this time everyone in the packed store turned to look at me and we advised her that my friend and I are in two separate households and I am going off the sign posted as 2 per household. Instead of saying ok, Vicky ended up arguing that my friend and I came to the store together and so we MUST be in the same house. At this time I offered my drivers license and his to show that we were in fact in different households and she just brushed it off and said "whatever" She advised that she was the manager at the store and it is very unprofessional for a manager to treat a paying customer that way. I understand that during this time that people are hoarding and taking more than they should but if I followed the signs posted there was no reason for her to come harass me and have me fear my safety inside the store. OMG, I placed a catering order three days before a big meeting for 35 people. I ordered two sandwich platters, one fruit platter, and a chicken wing platter. The meeting was at 12 p.m., so I had to get the food by 11:45, so I placed an order for 11:30 a.m. pickup. I went to the salad bar with the order number and asked the worker for the catering at 11:15 a.m., expecting to pay first before picking up. The lady worker looked at me surprised and told me she had never received the order and would check it. Once she checked, she kept making an excuse not to make it. She told me she had been on vacation the last few days and had no idea the order was there. And she kept telling me to cancel the order because she couldn't make it on time. I told her I was willing to wait until 11:45, but she was moving very slowly, not starting on the order, and asking me questions like whether you wanted turkey ham or regular ham. Realizing she was not going even to try, I told her to forget it, cancel the order, and I left. I had to go to a nearby fast food hamburger and buy 35 burgers to get meeting food. I've had multiple issues of finding and getting items that had been opened and partially consumed. It's absolutely disgusting. In all my years grocery shopping I don't think I've experienced this, yet this is a repeated occurrence at this Ralph's. If you can shop somewhere else, go somewhere else. It was 06:45. I didn't know it was "senior hour" anyways it's nurses week and I just wanted to buy a cupcake for a coworker. I wasn't allowed in because I wasn't a senior. And I was like come on do a nurse a favor, and he was like no you're not a senior. Anyways I never liked Ralph's cause they mark up the prices but now definitely not. The nearest Ralphs to me closed down, H Mart taking it's place. Although the next nearest one to me is in Lakewood, I come to this location when Ralphs is on my shopping list, because of Manila Sunset in the adjacent building. Smaller than the old location I'm used to, it has the familiar layout I've grown accustomed to. I prefer Korean & Chinese groceries, as they more cater to my needs, but Ralphs has some good advertised sales every now & again. The store is kempt pretty well clean & the aisles are clearly labelled, w/o feeling cramped like at Trader Joe's. Service has been okay. Parking is in a private lot, shared by CVS, Subway, Wells Fargo, a taekwondo studio & other businesses. Ralphs does in a pinch when sales are good & you need to stock up on groceries. I'm frequently in this plaza to pick up a 2-item combo from Manila Sunset, so I peek my head in here while it's convenient. read more

This Ralphs outlet has somewhat recently been updated - inside and out. I like the modern new look to the interior, and the exterior had sorely needed a facelift as it had been trapped in the 70's forever. Convenient location to buy the grocery items I can't find at Target. Staff is ok - provides adequate service though not very friendly. Parking lot can get crowded at peak times. read more

The meat department is friendly when you can find them. They are often working in the back room. They had a wireless doorbell, but they've removed it. Here's the thing about this Ralph's. It's very clean and organized, will have most everything you want (even though there are larger Ralph's around), has friendly cashiers, stocks decent produce, and is an above-average grocery store. Just stay away from the deli. I have purchased various things at the Ralph's deli over the past few years. Sandwiches, BBQ ribs, BBQ chicken, fried chicken, baked chicken... At this Ralph's it has consistently been bad. Tough meat that doesn't taste very good. I'm convinced that any meat that isn't sold gets sent to the deli where they cook it up and put it under heat lamps. Unbelievable -- they sell expired juices, that they would dump with the good items in 10 for $10 discount so customers would miss! I live close by and I also am an Instacart driver, so I'm always here, and they always give me the right information or help when I ask them questions :) They sanitize the carts and also have wipes in the front for you to wipe them yourself! read more

I love this store. Not just because it's clean. And they stock whatever is new in the market place. But because their staff is #1 in friendliness, courtesy, helpfulness and service. There's hardly ever a long wait. A third customer joins a queue and they open a new line. I've been all over - Stater Brothers, Sprouts, Trader Joes, Vons, Pavilions, Albertsons, Superior, Target even the Asian markets, and I always return to Ralphs for value, selection, convenience and customer service. Walmart will soon be opening a new standalone market a few blocks away and I wonder how this will affect Ralphs and the other markets in the vicinity. I hope they never lose their charm. This Ralph's is one of the last mainstream supermarkets left in Cerritos. Without this grocery store, you take your pick with Trader Joe's, Woori Market, or Seafood City. Still, there are plenty of reasons to give a thumbs up for this venue. Even though they lack certain items and their selection is slightly inferior than supermarkets in other cities, the store is almost always fully stocked, with night personnel constantly refilling the store with merchandise for the following day. It means a lot when I can confidently state that the store is uber clean and well maintained. I also have to give kudos for keeping the parking lot tidy and the shopping carts collected. Great variety of produce, freezer food, junk food, and alcohol. Fist pump to the staff for neatly managing the deli, bakery, and meat section. The left side of the store also has a small pharmacy and mini flower shop. I usually visit in the evenings, which practically eliminates the wait in line. The staff is friendly and just lets me shop till I drop. I mean, how much help do you need in a supermarket unless you're cashing out? Lastly, a huge high five for all the Ralph's coupons sent via mail. Because, I provide them my rewards card, they know the stuff I buy and send me rebates on those exact items and not for stuff I never consume. I used to have a Ralph's Rewards Plus VISA credit card, but had to spend a fortune to get points back for cash rebates. I cancelled that wight ah-way! Different location has a different store lay-out than I'm accustomed to. Good produce selection, but inexplicably, they had no stock of 1% AND 2% Simple Truth Organic milk on the refrigerated shelves. I did notice that the grocery bagger had to be called away and so I ended up bagging a lot of my own purchases. Not a biggie really, but again, when there are customers who already are in line, checking out and have their purchases waiting to be bagged, it's not the time to lose your bagger on some price check or exchange item for ANOTHER customer! That's one of my pet peeves. I get it, it's not a "FULL" service place, but for the cost of groceries, it's the customer service I would expect. We come home to try out the strawberry milk only to find it expired.. for over a month! The milk already started curdling too.. On New Year's Eve I went to Ralphs to buy Veuve Cliq Brut they had it on sell for $49.99 they were out so they offered me a rain check for 6 bottles I think you had to buy 6 to get that price so I took it and got some other Champagne I think Moet Chandon I said well Steven's Birthday is January 8 that's my deceased husband I use to call him daddy and he called me mommy so I called Ralphs and asked them if they had the Veuve Cliq Brut they said NO I said okay so I called back about a week or so later it was still January so I decided to have a Ladies Tea Party for March 9,2024 so I thought let me see if they have the Champagne Tuesday February 12 day before sell day so I called because there were a few other things I wanted Hormel bacon Gray Goose Vodka and a snow crab legs ( I'm having a event at my house in March) so I didn't go until the next day sell day and they had 6 bottles so I asked for them and when I went to pay and gave the cashier my rain check she said it's NO good it has expired I said I have called you twice you didn't have it in she said yes we did the guys I talked to said they didn't one said they only had the smaller bottle I didn't even know they made smaller bottles but never the less they win always they would not let me buy it at the rain check price I'm going to go and get it from Costco it's $55.00 there just $5.00 more a bottle I was at Costco last weekend I could have bought it then now I have to go back there Ralphs wasted the second most important thing GOD gave Us TIME. The best customer service at a supermarket I received. The self check out employee not only assisted us quickly and with a friendly attitude with our groceries, but during our transaction she saw that we had no bag and so she kindly offered us one on the house. She also saw us struggling to put in our customer discount phone number so she scanned it with her own card and saved us $10 on our groceries. We just had the worst experience at the Ralph's location. In 13321 South St Cerritos, CA 90703. Práctica was our cashier and made our experience horrible. We have always chosen Ralph's for our groceries. Due to covid-19 my driver license has not arrived in the mail. My husband and I tried to purchase a bottle of wine and she refused to take my I'd because it was cracked. I took out my Authorization to work card that's a federal government issued card with my birthday date and refused to take it. Her behavior was so unprofessional, our daughter was fussy. My husband and I both got laid off so we have a debit card with money for groceries which is why we split the groceries. I choose to get cash back from my purchase of $40 to give him for our groceries. Patricia then continued to make our experience worse! I left to the car because baby was now uncontrollable. She did not take one bit of consideration. I waited in the car for my husband, it took him another 15mins. When he got to the car he mentioned she refused to take the cash he was giving her because she accused us of me giving him money for the wine! Her tone of voice was unnecessary. This Ralph's has multiple discounts for ice cream and chips. You can get good deals through mixing and matching different items. I used to think Ralph's was expensive, but if you mix and match the deals are actually quite good. This Ralph's also has pumpkins for sale for Halloween I think it's around 4 bucks which is pretty good. Overall this site is nice and clean so I recommend this grocery store. read more

Yes. I am giving a 5 star review to a grocery store. Why? I recently when to the Palm Desert Ralph's and was very happy with the selection. So I had to go to one when I got back. The store was clean ,bright and had a huge selection of types of foods that I buy. All types of veggie patties, veggie cheeses , and the biggie , the BIG jar of Veganaise. Finally!! A nice assortment of Kimchi's and Go juchang . Their bakery department has a nice selection everything seemed to be priced at 4.99 some things were a good deal at that price and others not so much. They had lots of sales going on but make sure to use your Ralph's card. The sushi counter had a beautiful assortment of sushi and I was promptly offered a sample but I don't eat fish , I thanked the lady and said I was looking for avacado n cucumber roll. She said she could make it and she did with a smile! It was fresh and delicious. The superstar treatment I got throughout the store though with employees greeting me left and right was amazing. Awesome customer service training, Polite efficient from first step in the store to checkout. I will be back. read more

I just went to get Starbucks and Ordered a grande coffee with a splash of heavy cream with 3 pumps of sugar free vanilla and was charge $60 cents for each pump and 60 cents for a splash of heavy cream. When I asked why they said they are doing their job. I showed them on the app that that drink is not charged $2.40 extra for its ingredients. But ronni avail they insisted they were correct. When adding sugar free vanilla it is four pumps and one charge of about 60 cents. Normally I pay $2.95 for this coffee. I paid $4.85 for that coffee. If you are going to see Starbucks make sure all staff is trained properly. I was so excited when they brought Starbucks to Ralph's and I have shopped here for 19 years. For the second time in as many trips i ordered the maple glazed honey coated ham and while putting my groceries away noticed again i have turkey!!! Wtf i hate turkey and now im spending $12 a pound to feed the stray cats since its going in the trash! And i still don't have my ham. I love this Ralphs! They are always friendly and attentive in the produce, meat, and seafood departments. I really wanted some pomegranates and I saw they were out. The gentlemen said "We just got our produce order, let me restock those for you!" How awesome is that! The cashiers are also and make checking out a breeze.
