I ventured in to this Ralphs today with my mom to help her do some grocery shopping. First off, let me say the store was very well stocked, very clean and every employee we encountered was extremely friendly and courteous. We came across a few items we couldn't find and a young woman approached us and asked if she could be of help, wish I'd of gotten her name. She showed us exactly where the items were, very helpful and was all smiles. My mom had just had cataract surgery and was a little uneasy about walking through the store for fear of people pointing and staring at her but we must have been approached by half a dozen employees asking if they could be of help to her, even with me standing there which some people may have taken offense but I didnt, i thought it was very sweet. I had to leave to use the facilities and my mom stated that a young man in the coffee isle saw her cruising the coffees and came over and said hi, said he spoke with great concern when he saw her eye. And immediately offered to grab products for her and even told her she was beautiful. I was amazed at the customer service. Then as we were walking down the soda isle my mom had accidently cut her hand on the broken plastic on he cart handle which unfortunately she hadn't noticed but slid her hand acrossed. We went up to the service desk where Katie, he store manager approached her and immediately took over when she saw gay she had been injured. She bandaged her hand up, spoke very softly wih great concern making sure she was alright and apologized profusely for the defective cart and informed us she was putting it in the Cart Graveyard. Her concern was very genuine and made my mom feel at ease and i was quite impressed at Katie compassion, thank you Katie! I must say this is the friendliest Ralphs ive been in....Way to go staff.....your awesome! read more

Wow...I don't know where to start!...I was stress out looking for stuff for graduation. .greeted by very friendly Ralphs employees. ..no attitudes. .just genuine smiles. ..i was directed to employee candy in the floral dept...very helpful. ..she went above and beyond helpful. ..it brought my stress level down like 10 notches ..thank you candy ...for your calm friendly demeanor and assistance ...check out was fast and easy plus the graduation lei was soooo beautiful and reasonably priced...graduation stuff was placed at a great location. .very accessible easy to find . ..this is now my favorite grocery store! manager is a very rude man went on a interview and he did not even have my application on hand 2 min interview and i could tell from the start he was not going to hire me and then got an email telling me i had not been picked, i felt this was very unfair since they had 3 positions open. and the girl on the phone who said i did not need experience and here he was asking if i had experience? read more

The employees here are very friendly! They gave my baby a free banana and a balloon. Always very clean and organized.

Love this Ralph's location. Abbey from the deli is thee best!! Always helpful and very nice. Produce department is always helpful also.

Ralph's prices have steadily been increasing every time I go there. For one small loaf of bakery bread it's $5. Are you kidding me? What a rip off. I'm looking for other stores that have better prices. Sorry Ralphs but you lost me and my entire family as a customer. read more

I went in today in my lunch break to pick out a cake for my daughter's 3rd Birthday. I was just going to choose a premade cake and ask the women in the bakery if they had the Doc McStuffins toppers that I can pay extra for. The first older lady came to help me and snapped, "What's Doc McStuffins?" I told her and she replied, "Why would I know who that is?" I replied... "It's one of your licenced cakes. I saw it online also. Aren't you the baker?" She snaps, "No, she's the baker." And points to a younger woman. I was already annoyed and said, "Well, I'll wait for her then. I'm in no hurry." I said all this nicely and a little flustered. Then I just got super annoyed and said, "Online it shows you have this cake. I showed her." She said online is different than in the store so I entered the stores zip code and it was still an option and I showed her the cake. "Would I order it now and you'll call me back and tell me you can't make it??" And she said, "They'd probably have to specially order it." I turned around to walk away and she told me to, "Come back. When do you need it by?" They were just so rude and really made it a bad experience for a simple yes or no question. If you don't like your job don't do it. Lousy customer service. Cakes were beautiful. That's the one star. read more

Since we moved here we've been using this Ralph's as our home store. Very clean, but the cashiers make you feel very, very unwelcome. No smile, no eye contact, not even a greet... and when you ask them for help they look at you like you're a burden. There's a nice friendly Vons up the street that we'll be going to from now on. Customer service DOES matter. read more

This Ralphs is not supermarket anyway, they mark up a lot of price on anything, everything expensive, no bags to provide anymore, If they do not provide bag anymore at least they need to let customer to use their Cart, even do not have shopping Cart enough to let customer to use it, I ask staff why you dont have cart, they said someone stolen, then they should put the lock on the cart. now i go to somewhere to shop read more

PHARMACY: I had my teacup pomeranian and walked through the whole store and no worker or manager said anything to me. Until i walked past the pharmacy and "PATTY" told me i had to leave because of the dog. I felt her saying something was charged by something else maybe because I was with my girl and were a interracial couple? Or just the fact shes wanted to be a snatch. Jason is by far the best pharmacist. He is absolutely amazing. Jason truly cares about his customers and will take time to explain any question you have. He is very knowledgeable and I trust him. Truly the best in his field. read more

Good produce, good meats, good inventory, great location that is generally clean. However, customer service is hit or miss...nothing absurd has happened when I shopped there. However it is apparent that at this location several staff don't prioritize customer service and can be short/curt. read more

Came here at 11:50 (they used to stay open til 1) and grabbed a few things and noticed that the self serve lanes were open and shorter than the others. Scanned my items totalling 9 dollars and was hit with an "associate has been notified to assist you" screen. Cool, got that last time I came here after ten, shouldn't take more than a few seconds. After the associate (a blonde woman I had dealt with before many times- to great service) was done talking to her coworker, she motioned towards me with her hand moving back and forth across her throat indicating that self serve was no longer an option despite the fact that it was open upon my placing my items in the appropriate spot. Placed my items back and went to the nearest 7-11 where I paid a bit more but wasn't hassled. A bit of an overreaction? Definitely, if you take this as an isolated incident. Horrible cashier named Patricia R. No smile, No personal experience, no conversation, no respect. I've never felt so ignored and disrespected. If I wanted to use a machine I would of went to the self checkout machine. She was the only cashier on the floor and I wanted to give her position a purpose. A little human interaction. But that's not what I got and after this I'm seriously considering only using the self check out lanes at all other grocery stores. This person ruined my experience. She does not care about giving you a unique experience. The poor bag boy was trying to make up for her short comings but that's not his fault. As a CASHIER ITS YOUR JOB TO BE HAPPY. It's YOUR JOB TO PROVIDE A SERVICE WITH A SMILE and to NOT MAKE YOUR CUSTOMERS FEEL LIKE THEY ARE INCONVENIENCING YOU. As CASHIERS YOU'RE PAID TO INTERACT WITH THE PUBLIC. INTERACT!!! and this is where Patricia R failed with a capital F. I am never shopping here again and I urge you to do the same. This business does not deserve your patronage. I urge you to go to any other grocery store besides a Ralph's. They do not deserve your business and their cashiers do not respect their customers. read more

They usually run out of sale items later on in the week, so I like coming Wednesday mornings when everything in their circular is fresh and in stock. The store is extra clean and all the workers are very friendly even at the crack of dawn. read more

Raul's customer service like his moustache was beyond fantastic. I have never had anyone be so courtesy and so polite when I needed assistance. He was patient and spoke in a very calm tone. Well I went in today to get some milk and my son wanted a Hot Wheel.....bought it got to the car...only 3 items and I will be dam if they didn't leave it out. I went back in and the kid at the counter said "Oh we put it back already......I had to go and get another one.....this kid was BS'ing wit the checker and that is the main problem in these stores....no boss on duty.....I tried to see the manager but was told he was in the back busy and it would be about 15 minutes as he may also be on break....when I managed a business I was never on break.....this place SUCKS.....Guess I learned my lesson today....never again. read more

Went to Ralph's at 8:45 so hungry I wanted some cooked food at the deli, the employee was so rude and said he's busy cutting some meat. Raul is always very helpful in the produce department.He greets you with a friendly manner and asks you if you need any help without having to ask. The staff in the pharmacy are always very friendly. The pharmacist Jason has helped explain things well and very resourceful. I highly recommend this store as all the staff have been wonderful. I can find everything I need and it's organized. read more

Not the best prices, not the best layout, not many workers there to assist. It's convenient when I'm driving west on Carson, so I can't degrade it too much. It's fairly clean for the area that it's in, so that's a plus. read more

Eddie (senior) the butcher here is great to work with. He was able to cut 30lbs of short ribs while we shopped. This during a very busy December 23rd! His energy was great and wouldn't accept our tip. Nice to have a real Butcher. read more

horrible staff! i usually use self checkout since it's faster. but today i came into the store for a carpet cleaner rental. i asked the employee outside where i could find the rentals but she answered in a really rude tone. not just the rude tone with her, but she completely ignored me when i stood in front of her at the customer service desk. after she hung up the phone, she walked away from me! trying to find help, i asked another employee for assistance but she also spoke to me rudely and even directed me to someone else! couldn't help but notice the whiteboard for employees who get compliments from customers. of course those two didn't have any marks for compliments! on top of this, i overheard one of the employees directing someone to hurry up, i hope she was talking to her coworker and not me! it really would have been rich for her to have directed that towards me considering how much of my time they've wasted by ignoring me! forget the meat dept too! they're always rude and never quick or happy to help either. never spending my money here again! i don't care if i have to drive farther for groceries. read more

Me and a co worker went into ralphs to buy some flowers r a sick co workers. We come to the floral dept to find the floral worker standing infront of the dept. talking to another lady completely ignoring us, no acknowledgement at all. As we stand there pondering trying to figure out what to buy she just stood there talking this whole time. After about maybe 10min I FINALLY asked her for some help. She wasn't that friendly at all. I had the best service in the floral dept. Jennifer was the girl working and she made us the most beautiful bouquet out of the flowers we picked. And she is very pleasant to talk to. We will be getting all of our flowers from there all the time now. read more

This is the BEST grocery store near Carson for a healthy lifestyle. They have an extensive organic section and a great selection of vegetables for Asian cooking. They have a variety of nut milks, gluten free items and teas as well. The customer service is warm and efficient. read more

LOVE this Ralphs... cant stand the pharmacy. I have been going here for quite some time and it has been progressively getting worse. I had my 7 year old daughter and 2 year old son with me to pick up an antibiotic for my daughters bad ear infection. When I dropped off the prescription, they said it would be a 45 minute wait, which is super long, but I didnt mind. We grabbed some groceries and came back a couple of times to check to see how much longer. We were told 10 more minutes so we dropped off groceries at the car and came back in. The pharmacist called me over (me thinking...yay!! Its finally done) only to tell me..."oh, sorry..we dont have that medication here right now." Why would they not at least check their stock before telling me a time it would be done??? Seems like such poor customer service to me. Come on Ralphs... get your stuff together. So disappointing!!! Such a waste of an hour with my poor daughter in tears because she ear was hurting. Looks like I will be changing pharmacies!! read more

It's always a good visit whenever I come to Ralph's. The parking lot is huge and so is the supermarket itself. Inside, it's your typical grocery store. They have a decent selection of products. The staff is friendly, it's always clean, and has a fast checkout with no lines. There's even a Redbox outside. read more

September 6, 2015, Saturday @ approx 10:40 am. My husband and I were in aisle 9 looking at magazines we then proceeded down the aisle towards the front of the store. My feet were swept right out from under me and fell straight on my tail bone and scrapping up my right elbow. It actually ripped some skin off, bruised and now swollen and left the store with a burning sensation. Immediately after I fell my husband did report it the manager. There was spilled liquid detergent that I slipped on. Manger did have an employee quickly clean it up. 3 stars come in from the way the situation was handled. I did fill out a accident form. This accident form was very vague (not even asking for my info, but asking for witness info) I did tell the manager is this the right form? She asked another manager who seemed to be a little higher position than her and standing right in front of me. I'm not sure what she told her. But was told to fill it out and someone will call me the next day to come fill out another form. It is now Monday evening and no one has called me. I know today is a Holiday but I think the manager could of called me at least. The manager (female, blonde lady) never asked if I was ok?, did not say one word to me. Which I found to be a little rude. I just fell in your store and you have nothing to say to me? The other manager who my husband reported the accident to (spanish lady) she was kind, asked if I needed ice and she did take a picture of my elbow with her phone. Wow. I love coming to Ralph's to buy lunch I didn't now there was meals with the chicken great ....I get an order of that and is either leg and thigh or breast and wing I asked of I can get a breast and a leg and I'll pay the difference ....I don't know why it was so hard for the lady in the deli to understand that....she said I can't do that I'm like why not I'll pay the difference and she kept on insisting she can't ok ....she had a very bad attitude and went to the back to ask the person in charge of the deli dept. Then she comes back and says ok you can get that but u have to pay the difference....didn't I say that since the beginning......OK I went to the register to pay the cashier Tea J was so nice and corrected that it was 2 piece meal and that i should not be charged extra and that it came with a drink which I didn't get and she told the manager in charge and told me to go back to the deli and get my drink....I go back they look all confuse and again ....they go ask the person in charge in the deli....wtf ....is too much there is no communication on anything they don't know what there doing ....the only reason I give it 3 stars is because the cashier was able to help me out and take care of me ...please teach the deli dept what they need to know they all look lost with no clue on how to handle a meal read more
