This evening I visited I visited this Ralph's location for the second time and although my first experience was fairly seamless tonight I had a despicably rude cashier take my drivers license as I was buying a bottle of wine to have with dinner and she explained to me and the man bagging my groceries that my ID "looked to fake as fuck " as I have just recently moved from Seattle to the Ventura area and I still have a Washington State drivers license. I simply had no idea how to respond to her as my drivers license definitely is not fake, I am 24 years old and far past the age where I would have wanted to smuggle alcohol and although I have worked retail so I have great sympathy for store clerks and retail workers this was totally beyond crossing any sort of line and I was horrified by her exclamation. She flipped around my drivers license for a few minutes - without bothering to scan it at which point she would've realize she was was being completely inconsiderate and inappropriate and my license is definitely not "fake as fuck" and she was making a fool of herself. At this point I simply paid for my groceries thank the man who bag them and walked away without responding to her whatsoever. Immediately I called the store manager and gave her name - my receipt listed her as a clerk Heather N.-and voiced that although I did not want her to get in any form of trouble someone needed to tell her it is inappropriate to comment to customers that their identifications look fake as fuck and it is also an appropriate to swear directly to you and at customers. The man I spoke with a customer service/manager was very kind and apologized and said he would try to speak with her. I'm not sure if this will happen but I hope someone tells her that her behavior was inappropriate and incredibly rude for no reason. I hope in the future but this clerk -Heather N. - Would not behave so disgustingly to anyone including the customers of the store she works at. read more

Generally has the best selection of everything I need or want. I live very close to another store (rhymes with Start and Spinal) that rarely has the things we use regularly. Happy to drive to this location. Plenty of goodies, plenty of parking. read more

This Ralph's is super fancy and very clean . Boars Head and full hot food bar . Loved the large selection of fresh meat And seafood . The produce selection is huge and full of fresh foods . Loved the large selection of house goods great for last minute gifts. Self check out needs some help , I was purchasing 6 things of water and had to scan each one individual. read more

Open later than most places in Ventura. The prices are somewhat competitive. Selection is pretty good, though I'd like to see more organic produce. On occasion, I have been a little disappointed in the service as I check out - strangely those were not my late night visits. I had two minor problems in the last few weeks that involved Ralph's on Victoria Avenue. I want to emphasize that there was no fault involved by employees--just small, unintentional mistakes. I went back and each time the problems were reconciled quickly and to my satisfaction. Not only were the people I dealt with knowledgeable, but they were all very courteous and friendly. I have always been treated with the utmost consideration there; the icing on the cake is that their everyday prices are generally competitive and their sales can't be beat. read more

I go every week and stock up on items they have on sale and this week I purchased some fresh coho salmon for $8.99 a lb. and it was delicious. I grilled it for dinner and it was amazing. I also bought some pork ribs and grilled those. I made fruit salad with grapes they had on sale. read more

In normal times, I shop at Ralphs almost exclusively. But with Covid, I have ordered groceries online, both for pick-up and for home delivery. There's an option online to check for no substitutions. I always check it. I know what I want and I don't want anything else. In three out of five Insta-Cart orders, items have been substituted. This requires me to go to the store to return them. Why do I even shop online? Being forced to go to the store in person defeats the purpose of shopping online. I also notice that the items substituted are always Kroger brands. If I order Tostitos corn chips, I get Kroger corn chips, I don't get Mission chips. This seems self-serving at best. Time to try Von's. read more

One of the newer Ralphs Stores. Store always seems to be well stocked, and clean. Most of the time the staff seems to be friendly and helpful. Oddly enough my little guy loves to go to this location, because not only the staff but the patrons are very friendly towards children. This is location I go to do all major shopping. I do recommend this location to others, even if its a little out of their way. read more

Ralph's is becoming my favorite of the chain supermarkets. Gas points program for shell gas station. This particular store has a large section of housewares which I love to browse through. Good prices on lettuce and apples. Lettuce and kale is always .99 each and apples always .99 per pound. Good weekly sale prices. This location has spacious parking and friendly employees. read more

since one of the commenters that left a review about one of the "Hispanic" worker there. She had such a bad day to where she had to complain. I come to this store a lot and I know he workers there. their deli service is so fast and I never have a complaint. but the person hat left a review thinks she's some sort of high class world food and customer service critic. wrong again, miss me with that bull shit. sick and tired of people On yelp thinking they can talk shit about people because of their ethnicity. you're degrade in her because she's Hispanic or she plays the race card. Poor customer service from checkers. Very nice store and decent pricing. Meat cutter with mustache shorter gentleman knows his stuff. Wish I knew his name. He provides excellent customer service. THis Ralphs has the best staff! And there meat selection is always good. You can score a great deal when you go sometimes too. The staff really makes sure you get the best deal and they are very friendly and helpful when you need an item. I live right behind Vons, but I drive a couple minutes further to go to this Ralphs because they are very nice. read more

I've been doing business with this location of Ralph's since I moved here from L.A. 9 years ago. I have no complaints. The employees are helpful and courteous. If I happen to get home and feel unsatisfied with a product they always give me a refund without question. If I don't find what I want in the meat dept. I ask the butcher and he will find what I need and cut it, trim it, the whole shebang. KUDOS to everyone at RALPH'S! AND my bank is right there. read more

I was so hungry that I decided to try Ralph's deli. There is variety of sandwiches listed on the board. However when I ordered one of their paninis. The deli person did not know what she was making so she kept asking me what else I wanted in the sandwich. If I wanted to make my own sandwich I would have. She initially asked me what kind of bread I wanted and I said the way it is listed on your board. She said she was out of most of the bread. Ok I could deal with it. So I asked for wheat. She proceeded to ask me if I wanted mustard and mayo. I kept responding yes just like it says on the board. After 20 questions.. She started to wrap my sandwich... I asked her to please make it panini style like it said on the board. She then went on to telling me that they did not have the grill for the panini. It was so horrible. If she would have just told me that they did not have the grill, it would have saved us the trouble of even making a sandwich. I took the sandwich with much regret. Later to find out she did not cut it so I had to hold this large "panini" while everything fell out from one side... Oh did I mention she forgot to put mayo and mustard!! read more

This store has a nice large layout. It feels a little cramped at times with all of the products but it's not too bad. There are some good deals but not that many. I would be happier if they showed the clearance products better. The place is also very clean, one of the cleaner grocery stores out there. read more

I shop at Ralph's because, of the chains, it is the best. BUT your Salad Bars, in the last few months, have diminished in quality. Your Romaine is OLD and usually only the 'white' center cuts. And the meat choices gave gone from: pork, ham and seafood, to Pepperoni. Cottage Cheese is gone, as are Mandarin Oranges. I shop most at the Westchester / Sepulveda store, as I am in that area a lot. It used to have the most selection, versus Ventura, but the above is now the norm. Quality went down and prices either remain or have gone up. This is a friendly suggestion, kindly improve, or at least go back to the way you used to be. . read more

I don't shop at this store much and I did feel some of the prices were much higher than Vons/Trader Joes... but I am giving it 5 stars because of their bakery. I ordered a couple of birthday cakes here and the customer service has been as good as it gets. Both employees who assisted me (male and female) were friendly, and extremely helpful. The cake was also beautiful and delicious, not to mention reasonably priced. Every one at the party loved it. I highly recommend purchasing a cake here for any occasion! read more

When I come into this store associates are so snobby, they choose who to be nice to. Don't get me wrong not everyone, but I had a horrible experience with the self check out lady and the one who bags the items. I can do it myself if you hate doing it but no need to ignore when I say hi or get the cart out of my hands so aggressively. Wow. Worst shopping experience of my life!!! Let me start off by saying that I am a very busy mother of two and I have a debilitating case of rheumatoid arthritis that makes it very difficult to do every day things that are easy for most. I am issued wic checks every month for soy milk for my two boys who are lactose intolerant. Going to the grocery store can be an incredible inconvenience on its own but going and getting wic stuff is even more difficult for me because there are specific items printed on each check and if you don't get everything specific on each check than you can not get your items. This ralphs location doesn't usually have ALL the soy milk printed on the check but it's not usually a problem because the manager at the dairy counter usually substitutes another brand for me so I don't have to go to multiple stores and be inconvenienced . Today however this was not the case. I knew I needed to get my wic stuff by the end of the month so I hired a baby sitter to watch my kids (the rheumatoid arthritis makes it difficult for me to walk so pushing a 3 yr old and a 1 year old in the basket is almost impossible). It took me an hour to get everything printed on my check. The only thing missing was the soy milk. No problem. I walked to the dairy counter and asked the worker if they had any more in the back of the store. He said he couldn't help me that I had to walk to the customer service desk to ask them. Fine . I walked to the front of the store pushing the really heavy basket. No one at the help desk. After waiting 10 minutes a customer service rep (named Pam) asked me if I needed help. I explained to her the situation. She checked. There was no milk available. She suggested I come back another time when they might have more milk in stock. I told her that this was not an option for me because if you don't get everything printed on the check in one transaction then you can't get all your items. She said she was not willing to substitute items, didn't offer an apology and was incredibly unhelpful. She did suggest I go to some other store. Thanks lady. So I was forced to leave my groceries there and go home empty handed. No milk for my boys. Wasted money on babysitter. Wasted time and energy I could have spent at home with my loving family. I guess ralphs doesn't care about customers with disabilities and has no compassion for people having trouble with those stupid wic checks . Thanks ralphs I will never spend my time or money at any of your stores again. read more
