Elena in the floral department is amazing!!! She saved the day... I needed some roses that were green and I had called all around and no one had any and she went in the back and not only did she find one dozen, she found a second dozen of green roses. I'm a man so I didn't really know I needed other stuff and she took her time and made recommendation so to help make a bouquet of flowers. She then fountd me the perfect vase to compliment the color of the flowers... I was very impressed with how creative she was and she designed it right there in front of me. She did a great listening to me and incorporating my suggestions. She is a life saver and she deserves to be recognized. She could have just sold me the 1 dozen roses I asked for but she went above and beyond and createn a treasure chest of golden memories that my baby will always remember. I live 2 blocks from this place but would drive 20 miles to another store before walking to this one. DON'T GO HERE IF YOU AREN'T IN YOUR MOST MELLOW MOOD. The only bonus to living 2 blocks is I can walk there. This in it self helps make it a little less shitty. Once you are inside the chaos begins. I picture it like this- the carts should have seats with steering like bumper cars added. It is pretty much like that getting around the place. Overpriced and makes you want to punch an old lady sometimes(seriously there is one old lady there that is notorious for trying to cut in line and ramming your heels with her cart, ask around I have met others that have ran into her, she does exist). Preface I like this small Ralph's Freshfare because it's not large and I like that it's not vast or too big so I have gone there for over 9 years. However 2 1/2 weeks ago at around 8:30 am, the morning manager that day who was there this particular morning at opening (when this supermarket opened at 8am and closed at 2pm everyday for the past 50 days) was not nice and I noticed and observed was actually impolite, rude and dismissive to many customers including myself that she didn't want to talk or be bothered by customers ( l was as all customers were all wearing masks but she was not wearing one) and she seemed always bothered or inconvenienced by people who were genuinely trying to ask where items were since isles were blocked by boxes and people can't get through or actually see on shelves or look or see items in the isles. No other employee was available to stock shelves but she was in one just gossiping with a fellow employee-it's like she only wanted to be alone or left alone or talk and chat with employees and made a very insensitive remark about customers walk around and have corona virus-well FYI employees could have it too-like the Ralph's on sunset where 20 employees infected one another --well in that case then don't be a manager for a store if you want to be by yourself! She only wanted talk to other staff or gossip and talk about subjects not pertaining to work! I guess the half days were ideal for her. Leave that behavior and attitude at home and at the door when you work at Ralph's Freshfare on Beverly Blvd in West Hollywood! She didn't want to be asked about why there were not items advertised or that items were not in stock or to assist with customers. This is a market do your job accordingly! I asked about my Ralph's card being honored or getting a rein check for items not in stock so I could get them another time she was abrupt and said I don't know why are you asking me when the register clerk called for her. She is very unprofessional and if this happens to me again in the future, I will call Kroger corporate! I will not hesitate to do so! I usually come here for 3 things - perishables, ice cream and liquor related items. If you have a Ralph's card you can't beat the prices on their vodka and ice cream. Just the other day they were selling all Haagen Daaz and Ben N Jerry pints for $2.50. I mean what the heck are they trying to do to me. All I wanted was 1 pint but two friggin fifty. Its almost like they are giving it away for free. Don't even get me started on the vodka. Unless you go to Costco to buy the monster bottles you cannot get a better deal on vodka. They usually rotate which brand is on sale but the top shelf stuff is usually $25 for Grey Goose, Belvedere or something similar. Better than Sav-On or BevMo. read more

Even though this is a baby sized Ralph's, the product selection is good . I visit this store several times a week, I've never had a problem with service or waited in line for very long. I just went to Ralph's on Beverly Blvd and bought Foster Farms chicken thighs to make for dinner I got home unpacked them and they were rotten, smelly, and a very strange color. I had to drive all the way back to the store and all the manager could say was I should get in touch with Foster Farms and let them know and handed me my money back. Screw this place. I brought a set of balloons that I bought before hand and I wanted to fill them up with their helium machine. The clerk opens it up and says there are 8 letters aka each one will cost 12.99 to fill up. I go "are you kidding me? You are going to charge me over $100 for someone to put a frickin balloon on the tip of a nozzle?" I had him get his supervisor and her brilliant self says the same thing. Unreal. Crappy customer service. I'm sure he owner or ceo of Ralph's wouldn't appreciate their utter lack of common sense....the balloons in the store cost that much to fill up, BUT I BROUGHT THESE MYSELF. Love this place. You can almost find most of the stuff on your shopping list here. However they tend to run out of their merchandise very fast. Parking in the middle of the day is crazy here but the turn around is pretty fast. Be careful you might find they your car has been scratched when you were shopping. Their deli workers are typically rude and dismissive. Actually, horrible is a better word. On several occasions, I have just stood there while the workers were in the back or just didn't come over. The last time, I complained to the manager. She said that there have been several customer complaints about the bad service in the deli section, but nothing is ever done. Ive seen smaller parking lots at a grocery store, and Ive seen smaller stores with worse selection. Is it the biggest Ralphs ever in the world, no. But the staff here was far nicer than any other Ralphs I have ever been to. And its fucking Ralphs a division of Kroger and King Stoopers ( which is what the store is called in Colorado and other places) if you want richey over priced bull shit with "organic" labels and someone to valet your stupid BMW you bought in Beverly Hills go to the over priced Bristol Farms across the street, or the needlessly expensive Whole Foods and stay the hell away from this nice little store where nice people should shop. ALSO the pay per bag is a way to deter people from wasting resources. The city of West Hollywood decided this for all of its stores ( Just like Santa Monica) I fully support this decision and I love all the people bitching about paying 10 cents a bag when they probably donate money, hit the "like" button, or stand on their soap box when its convenient for them when it comes to recycling... but here is a solution in action and people complain. Horrible. I just moved here and you would think this would be a great store. The to go savory chicken was the worst I've ever had at any Ralph's. It was nasty! Like it's been sitting there for a week. They don't have the organic chicken because I was told the customers are "cheap". In Beverly Hills? Maybe the "cheap" people all crowd into expensive across the street Bristol Farms for a reason. If Ralph's was good it would attract good customers BUT IT'S LOUSY!! The deli staff seems to hate people. They simply walked away from me when I asked for a salad. Three countergirls (or should I say 3 warm bodies with no desire to move) and only me standing there politely asking for help for 10 minutes but THEY IGNORED ME. I will never come back! I just finished a great workout and this made me so mad it ruined my whole day. Like everyone else I'll go across the street to Bristol Farms or drive to another Ralphs store. I have frequented this store often since I moved to the area almost a year ago. It took me a really long time to realize that...when I'm there, I'm grumpy. I keep asking myself "why do I keep coming here?" Parking usually sucks. The store inside is so crowded and small. They are almost always OUT OF at least one thing I need on my shopping list (nothing pisses me off more....who has time to stop at another store or plan a whole different dinner because of one ingredient missing). I get so irritated with shelves look empty, to me this is a sign of poor management who doesn't know how to keep things in stock. I would give the benefit of the doubt and consider that maybe the supplier is out of stock...but other stores don't seem to have this problem. One time I saw a really nice display of blood oranges, I could tell they were all brand new so I bought a couple. they were very good so I bought a couple more a few days later. I bought a couple more a couple days after that. The supply was dwindling and the oranges weren't being replenished..pretty soon there were only about 10 blood oranges left. They were turning brown and shrinking in size. Weeks had gone by. No one was buying the oranges. After 5 weeks and counting more fresh blood oranges had been added to the display. It was very obvious which ones were good and which ones were bad. At this point the old one should have been tossed long ago! I had to force myself to stop counting the days and not even look at the display! It really made me wonder if they treat all their produce like this just to try and make more money, then people must be getting sick and eating OLD rotten food! It also seems like every time I go they are unloading fresh product off of pallets, but they just sit there for hours and hours, making the store less navigable, instead of actually being unpacked. read more

So, over the past few months myself and other co-workers who walk to the Ralph's for lunch nearly every day (for deli sandwiches) have voiced complaints to the deli manager and/or the store manager about the absolute lack of customer service at the deli. I myself have complained twice. If we didn't go so often it may not be so glaringly obvious that these women literally ignore (no joke) customers that walk up to the counter. They walk back and forth---putter around the bakery area---laugh and joke with each other-as minutes tick by with customers (many--more than four-as many as ten) stand there waiting for a simple "be with you in a minute"---or some sort of acknowledgment that we are not invisible. I have heard people actually call out loud as one deli worker passed a 3rd time in front of her without making eye contact--the customer actually shouted HELLO?! CAN YOU SEE US? This makes for a very, very unpleasant experience. I shop at Ralph's regularly (in Studio City, CA) - but I do frequently make quick stops or lunch stops at this Ralph's on Beverly Blvd in Beverly Hills. I am fed up with the treatment by these ladies. Now that they know we are "complaining" we get treated worse. Something needs to be done. This Ralph's is walking distance from my office so I do not see myself changing stores, but I will complain until there is a change in staff if need be. read more

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews on this location. Yes, it does get crowded but they have the best bakery! I definitely recommend them for birthday cakes and a quick stop in the AM for a cup of java from Coffee Bean. Not to mention the selection of liquor is massive. read more

The employees at this location don't know a thing about anything. The sandwich girls are always really out of it and don't know how to make sandwiches or even know their own menu. They will overcharge you unless you point out their mistake that the veggie sandwich comes with avocado (happens all the time). The parking lot is handy, but it can get crowded fast. It also can get a little scary in the lot at night bc it's dark and the part around the corner is out of public sight- ahhhh. The store is basic, and doesn't offer many extras. I'd recommend pavilions up the street. It's much nicer and offers similar prices, believe it or not. read more

I live nearby, and am in the store nearly every day. Produce seems fresh, and they have a decent, tho slow moving, deli counter. Most of the folks that work there are really pretty pleasant, given some of the attitude I've seen from the customers. The downside is the size of the store and selection, and they've cut back the number of checkers, and this location isn't really the best for the self service registers, as they seem to be challenging to use for some of the shoppers. I would love to see this store remodeled with underground parking and a larger footprint. Until then, for larger purchases, I'll drive the extra 3 minutes to Pavilions. read more

Cashier stiffed me--despite the fact that the bag boy saw me give the cashier a $20 bill, she insisted I'd given her a $10. I insisted that I was not trying to rip Ralphs off for $10., that in fact, I was owed $10 change. The front end manager took forever to count the drawer. She found that it was $27 short ($37 counting mine) and tried to blame me. She wanted to review the video footage, but the manager had common sense and told her to give me the $10. The cashier gave me a weak apology. When I told the front end manager that she needed to do something to keep me as a customer, she looked at me funny and gave me a $5 gift card. The customer is not always (or ever right) here; I walked out with two items, having wasted a lot of time, and with the manager convinced I was in the wrong. read more

Worst experiance calling the deli. Hungup on 10 times, sometimes the phone would ring for 4 minutes, someone would answer and then hangup. Other times someone would answer say ok let me check then after waiting 10 minutes would get someone answering asking how they could help... would say again let me check and then after waiting for 10 more minutes would come back on and hangup. This happened yesterday and today again. Luckily i have time at work to keep calling back after getting hungup on and sent to multiple people who cant help. Both days have been a nightmare and cant get a solid answer if something is available at the deli or not. Im not exaggerating the times either. Spend so much money every day here and never want to come back again. Terrible customer service. Someone really needs to go over to the deli and check what is going on with the phones and why it seems to be so hard to answer a simple " do you have this at the deli" question.
