Came for Tuesday ALL DAY happy hour. Loved the bartender today. First time seeing him behind the bar as I am a regular. He has a great attentive personality, welcomes you with a smile and made the experience better; saw him greeting every guest with the same charm and charisma. It's been awhile since I have had a bartender actually converse instead of let you self entertain on a phone. He says he is here M-f and calls himself "dungee" Come check him out. My best friend and I came here to grab lunch and catch up after the craziness of the holidays and loved the open space and upbeat atmosphere. I personally am not a huge fan of booth seating, but it's all they have. I was pretty grossed out that the booth was really crumby, I wish they cleaned them better. We started out with drinks, my best friend ordered the blue sparkler which i thought was really cute and she really enjoyed. I got the strawberry crush with a shot of Tito's which was dangerously delicious. It tasted like juice and I loved it. For appetizers, we got the fried cheese, which the menu claimed is the best cheese pull, and it delivered on that. I was obsessed with the ratio of breading to cheese; I'm not normally a huge fan of fried food, but this was so yummy! Maybe it was feral of me, but I mixed the ranch and the marinara together and dipped my fried cheese in, and it was totally bomb. The service here was really fast; our mains came out fairly quickly, while we were still finishing our appetizers, and both dishes were hot. My bestie ordered the grilled prawn avocado bowl, which looked absolutely delectable; her prawns looked perfectly grilled, and the avocados looked fresh and ripe. I ordered the prawn scampi linguine without the mushrooms and was obsessed with how flavourful it was. The shrimp was juicy and flavourful and I loved how creamy and garlicky the sauce was. The moment my dish got to the table I was dipping the garlic bread in the sauce and eating a bite of heaven. As someone who loves seafood, I love it when a restaurant gets it right, and I was really enjoying savouring my meal. I was still eating my lunch when our server, Marcus, tried to give us our check. I was so confused because I'd been really looking forward to getting dessert and more drinks. It made me feel rushed because I'd been looking forward to relaxing and chilling with our bestie. Our server apologised and took our bill back, but it was just so weird, I don't know why he didn't ask us first. For dessert, my bestie got the mile high mud pie, which looked so drool-worthy, I was honestly so jealous I didn't get it myself. Thankfully she let me steal some of hers and I loved it so much. I ordered the bread pudding, and while I loved the flavours and the ice cream, I feel like the bread pudding itself was super dense and dry in the middle. With dessert and while we were gossiping I ordered a tiramisu martini which was so rich and delectable, I loved how sweet the chocolate was, and the frozen texture made for the perfect drink. Hmmmm I was disappointed with the fish tacos I had today. I for some reason am out to try fish tacos when I see them on the menu. These seemed to be on the lower tier of fish tacos , I have not really found one that knock it out of the park but the one s in Long Beach were pretty tasty. These seemed to be on the bland side. They were supposed to be spicy, they came with a side of rice and black beans., which was a little wetter than I expected. The beer I had was good blonde hometown . I believe is what they had it as. The carnitas tacos with guacamole on corn tortillas was super yummy and a great deal. $7.00, with guacamole add $3.00 I believe. The carnitas are on point. The packaging for the meals to go were nicely done We got chicken almond salad and the Olympus salad. Both were decent and had potential to be really good. Great pizza and fries. No notes there. It goes downhill from there. Mac n' cheese is weirdly watery, fried fish is ghastly, very thin and over cooked with a hard crust. Instead of 3 thin overcooked pieces they should do just 2 that are chonky and oily with a beer-battered crust. They also make the only uninteresting Hawaiian burger I have had. Makes me not want to try the other ones. Dry and unflavorful. A couple of good things here but pass if you are rolling the dice. They offer more things than they know how to do well. read more

Went here on a Tuesday and they had whole day happy hour. I did not choose from happy hour menu. The food was delicious and quantity was great. The drinks were yum. We ordered cauliflower fried with sriracha sauce which was delicious and a virgin pineapple mojito and it was so flavorful. Nachos quantity was way too much even for 2 people. Service was pretty good. Lots of screens around for entertainment and I think a balloon maker is there on Thursdays which is entertaining for the kids. When I come to get my hair done, I always stop in and sit at the bar at the Ram! Food - Consistent, always hot and fresh when it comes out. I usually will get just a classic burger with or I will get a salad. I never have a problem with my order any time I come. Service - Always serviced promptly! Had an absolutely amazing time at Ram in Issaquah! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service was next-level. I've gone to the RAM many times, especially the Issaquah Location. I decided to order something health conscious due to my new pursuit of fitness. I ordered the grilled Salmon with Broccoli and Rice. The rice was the best part of the dish, I really enjoyed the flavor and the moistness. The broccoli was VERY dry, felt like eating a desert and I felt the same way with the Salmon. I think the RAM is best suited for people who want burgers and fried food. Food is fine. Service is a disorganized mess. Came here the other day because it seemed like a good place to have a bite with two little ones for an early dinner/ supper. We were there for almost two hours! I counted two tables who were seated, served, and cleared after we put in our orders and when the food arrived... not ideal when you have two toddlers. Servers seemed in a perpetual rush to not get stuff done. Asked for some waters. She came back 5 minutes later with the glasses of water said she'll come back with straws. Straws never arrived. Asked for a couple things when food arrived (what kind of restaurant that serves fries regularly doesn't bring the ketchup out with the food, or just has it already on the table?) Asked for the togo boxes and bill because little ones were restless (as I said, took almost an hour for food to arrive). Took 5 minutes for to go boxes and bill to arrive. "I'll be back with the card reader" said the server and back into whatever black hole she went to for another 5-10 minutes. Even worse - forgot the kids meals came with desserts. We weren't offered the option to take them to go so I guess we also missed out on ice cream sandwiches. Food was find. But absolutely subpar service and having the temerity to ask for 18% tip on the card reader is absolutely the epitome of delusions of grandeur. Go somewhere else. I have been coming to the ram since it opened and I can honestly say that this is the best it's ever been. They have a really good happy hour menu and Tue is all day happy hour. We love the tacos, pizza and drinks. It's a definite favorite of mine. I want to also thank Patty and Yazmin from the bar. They are always going above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of. We've been coming here since they opened in the Issaquah Highlands about 10 years ago. That said we've had some ups & downs here with food & service. I would have to say that in the last 2 years the food has improved immensely! In the past there was no consistency but now you can count on getting the same great burger, pizza, boneless chicken or salad every time. They also have a really great staff that have been there for years including Jessica, Chelsea & Tony. We love all of the TVs to enjoy multiple games & the atmosphere is clean & casual. [ Visited prior to COVID-19 Outbreak ] When seeking a casual spot to host a social event over drinks and bites, The RAM often comes to mind for its communal atmosphere! Some coworkers and I visited during Happy Hour on three different occasions for after-work gatherings. A couple times, we were seated at two long tables adjacent to the bar, an ideal space for mingling and sharing food. Most recently, we occupied a long booth area for our party of 20, which was a great setting for our team trivia. The eats here are alright, but primarily typical bar fare to pair with drinks. Their main menu offers a wide variety, featuring burgers, sandwiches and appetizer plates, but there are also some "lighter" options such as salads, grilled fish and chicken breast entree. From the Happy Hour food menu, everything is less than $9! I've tasted a few items but my favorite were the Boneless Buffalo Wings. Not shaped like wings at all, these are more like breaded chicken bites tossed in their Buffalo sauce, served with a side of veggie sticks and blue cheese dressing. I also enjoyed the flavor of their Pork Carnitas Tacos, which were topped with a nice crunchy slaw, tart pickled onion, crema and salsa. Unfortunately, the pork was on the drier side though, which was disappointing being the focus of the taco. We also shared Mozzarella Sticks, Pretzel w/ Beer Cheese and Loaded Waffle Fries all of which reminded me of semi-homemade dishes that could have been just heated and fancied up a bit before serving. The Waffle Fries were tasty with a nice crispness to them, but I didn't consider them "loaded" at all. They were coated with cheese, but just sprinkled with bacon and chives. Outside the HH menu, our table loved the calamari strips ($11.49) which were super tender and served with two zesty dipping sauces. The RAM offers a wide selection of beers, but for those who don't enjoy hop-heavy flavors, I suggest their Signature Cider ($4 HH). It was crisp, the perfect sweetness and had more prominent notes of apple than other ciders I've had. I've also tried their Pink Pineapple Mojito... super refreshing, fruity with a nice cooling sensation from the mint. I'd definitely recommend both drinks! Considering the large size of our groups, the staff took great care of us on each occasion. Food and drink orders arrived in a timely manner and were delivered correctly with ease. It appears that their use of electronic handhelds helps with organizing orders and larger parties. During one visit, a few of us were so absorbed in chatter that we passed the Happy Hour mark by about 10 minutes, but our waitress still granted the HH pricing. That was very much appreciated! Although this would not be my first pick to grab lunch or dinner, it provides a wonderful lively environment for social hour or catching a game. read more
