I've been a Ram Rooter been a customer for over 15 years. Tried to use a "discounted service" through my HVAC company to fix a clogged drain. Big mistake! After turning a slow drain into a stopped drain, they wanted to bust through drywall and concrete and replace a whole section of plumbing. Cost would be around $20,000 - and they could start tomorrow! I said no, and called my friends at RR. Marcos came out for a second opinion. I was lucky when searching through the thousands of different drain cleaning companies out there, I happened upon Ram Rooter. I now keep their phone number decal on my tool box in the garage where it's easily found. I've been a customer for about 8 years now, and they save my butt all the time. From the main drain clearing to a bathroom sink stopped up, they have always come through. My wife and daughter both have thick, long hair and as you know, that luxurious hair finds its way to the drains during a wash occasionally. That hair builds up and BAM.....time for a drain clearing. We have used Ram Rooter multiple times for clogs and clean outs. They have been cheaper than most other plumbers and extremely responsive.

Marcos came out on a Sunday to unclog my main line. He went on the roof and once he was on the roof, he did the job under 15 minutes. He found roots that was causing the blockage. He stayed for a while and ran the water in my shower and checked the toilet and shower multiple times to make sure the lime was unclogged and everything was running smoothly. He cleaned up well and he did the job very quickly, so what more can I ask for! They only take cash or check. I tipped him well and appreciated his quickness and professionalism. I could tell he was very experienced and knew what he was doing. His prices were really fair especially on a Sunday. I highly recommend Marcos if you need an emergency plumbing service. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The 1st time one of our toilets got clogged, I called them & a plumber showed up within 1/2 hour. Called them today, late afternoon on CHRISTMAS EVE, for the same thing (we have old plumbing) & thought we may have to wait until the day after Christmas for service. To my surprise & delight, the plumber showed up in less than 15 minutes! Both plumbers we have had were pleasant, respectful, knowledgable, fast, & both cleaned up! I have used Ram Rooter for 10 years. I will never use then again. I called them at least 4 times today to come and fix a clogged toilet. They didn't show up to my house until later in the afternoon around 3pm Their plumber JAVIER was extremely rude to me on the phone, complaining about a service call that he did well over a year ago. I was so upset about his disrespectful tone on the phone. Today they came to just use a snake ton the main line of my house to unclog the toilets. They charged me 250$ just to use a snake. The plumber was only here for about 30 minutes. I will definitely not continue using them as my plumbers. We had a slow running drain in our kitchen ever since we bought the house. We recently renovated our kitchen and that included moving our sink and plumbing. We were without a sink for about 3 weeks and when we installed the new sink it was not draining at all. Came to Yelp to find a local plumber with good reviews. We had a small leak around the bottom of the toilet where it attaches to the floor. That toilet was installed new in 2018 by flooring company after laying down floor in the bathroom. Called Ram Rooter and quickly got an appointment. We have happily used Ram Rooter for 13 years. Marcos came out and quickly diagnosed the problem. Floor installers apparently did not put on a new wax ring when they installed the toilet! Marcos took care of the problem in no time. Now, we are good as new. I have used this company for years to clean out my main drain. I have tried other companies but these guys are the best bang for your buck. They are quick, efficient and DO NOT overcharge. When Marcos shows up to clear my drains about twice a year, he always starts by going up on the roof and going straight down through my main. This way he gets the sinks, and the washer and dryer area on his way down to the main. after he breaks up the initial clog, he doesn't just stop and pull it out (as some others have done) he continues down all the way about 150 feet to the main and then runs it through again to make sure everything is pushed out. Unfortunately old pipes requires that I clean my drains about twice a year, but I always call Ram Rooter first because they get it done fast and I have never had a problem with the drains right after they have cleared it. I'm usually good for about another 6 months until lint and food get it clogged again. I would highly recommend there services if you are local. read more

I used the think I hated all plumbing problems, and dealing with plumbers was always an unpleasant experience. That was until I had to had the great fortune of hiring Jaime and Jonathan from Ram Rooter. About a year ago, Jaime came out and spent about 2 hours unclogging the drains on the kitchen side of my house. The fees were very reasonable, and after Jaime left my sink was empty! Fast forward to last night, and my kitchen backed up again. That make sense, we cook a lot and I enjoy testing the limits of our garbage disposal. I was able to make an appointment late at night for this afternoon. This time Jonathan came out to help. After he arrived early, Jonathan described what he intended to do to snake out the pipes, in easy non-technical terms. He spent about an hour climbing up and down a ladder dragging what looked like heavy equipment on to the roof (hard pass!). After busting his tail for an hour, the sink was draining again, and I only had to fork over $75! I can't say enough. Jaime and Jonathan for Ram Rooter are honest, affordable, punctual, and clean! Called them over the weekend they snaked out my kitchen drain. Said 30 day guarantee cost me $65 . Two days later same problem and started backing up other drains. They came back out and said it is a completely different problem.. This time he wanted $150 + $90 to remove toilet to snake thru there. Javier was nice but neither me or my husband could understand what he was saying cause his broken english and he did not honor his 30 day. I called the office and the lady who answers the phone is VERY rude saying listen lady after I gave her my name twice. Very unprofessional and neither one speaks english well. She said she was going to talk to the plumber and call me back. Never received a call nack. So I called our usual plumber Arrow plumbing they came out and snaked our lines thru the shower and only cost me $85. read more

We tried another company before Christmas and the guy that came out was wheezing so hard he could barely move. He stuck the snake in a little bit, and saw black stuff come out and said it was mud and we had to get all new lines for about $ 5,000 - 10,000. Based on what I saw of him, I had very little confidence. Got Javier's name and number at Ram Rooter from my buddy down the street. as he has the exact same house as ours. Our house is 53 years old and we had not had the pipes cleaned in 14 years - stupid on our part. Javier came out and surveyed the house with respect to the drain pipes to see what was where. After surveying, he started at the back of the house with the snake and he said something was blocking it. He tried it about three times and then it started going in about 20-30 feet (remember the other guy couldn't even get it to go five feet!). After about 75 feet he retracted the snake and WHAMO! There was a fitting from another snake stuck in the pipe that came out on the end of his snake!! This fitting was about the size of the pipe and we have no idea how long it had been in there. After that, he had me fill the kitchen sink with water and then drain it. I told him it would not drain. So now it was time to go to the roof to check the drain vents. He snaked down the drain vent near the kitchen. After about five minutes or so, we could here gurgling in the kitchen and next thing you know the sink completely drained. He cleaned out the front main and showed me the roots blocking things. His original charge for everything was going to be $ 150 based on the front and back lines, but he said it was going to be a little more because of the extra vent clean out. NOT A PROBLEM! GLADLY PAID IT! Just an extra $ 50. He also said to make a follow up appointment and that he would come and do maintenance on the rest of the pipes in the house by cleaning through all the vents and that it would be about another $ 200 - $ 250. Again, I will gladly pay this and then do it once a year. One other thing - Cash or cheque only. read more

I have used Ram Rooter for clogged sinks and a few weeks ago my mother had a clogged bathtub and needed a good honest plumber. I asked her to call Ram Rooter but my mother lives beyond the geographical area that they service. Patricia (dispatcher) worked with her team and convinced them to help out my mother with her plumbing problem. This was definitely Ram Rooter going above and beyond and the price was very reasonable for the work performed. I needed a wax ring replaced on a leaking toilet recently and Javier performed an excellent job and made sure that the area was clean during and after the work was performed. Ram Rooter saved me lots of $ on needless repairs that were not needed. I had purchased a water heater from a large home improvement retailer which included the installation fees. The technician of the home improvement store was not able to fulfill the obligation of installing the water heater for me in time of need and informed me that he cannot install the water heater. I was forced to call a plumber to finish the work that the technician abandoned. James and his crew came to rescue and installed my water heater. James was very thorough with his work and inspected everything carefully and took the time to go over all the safety features. The lady answering the phone is EXTREMELY RUDE, you can feel her bitterness over the phone. She'll leave you hanging for hours, when you call back she'll give you a ridiculous excuse why she didn't send anyone. One of the plumbers always was very reliable but calling this company is a drag. Update!!! On a prior visit I gave these guys a 5 star rating. More recently we had them return for another issue with our downstairs bathroom. They did show up quickly for us. They cleared the main line outside and left after receiving their pay. We had visitors in from out of state. My husband went out back and much to our upset and sheer disbelief they left loads of toilet paper and HUMAN WASTE all over the sidewalk on the side of our house. I called the company and left a message hoping that they would call to explain why..... never heard back. Would definitely NOT REFER TO ANYONE!!! Prior 5 Star review... We had a problem with our main line backing up late last night. Our downstairs bathroom flooded and we had to shut down water to the house. We called Ram Rooter before 7am and Marcos was out to the house in about an hour. He was kind and listened patiently. He got right to work and had my water back on in less than 30 minutes. I hope not to have any more issues, but if I do I will call Ram Rooter again and will refer this company to anyone that has a need for a respectful, professional, quick and thorough plumber! read more

Made an appointment on Tuesday for Friday was given a 2 hour window between 8am-10 am. The plummer arrived at 5:30pm. The company didn't communicate with us to state there was a delay. I called the dispatcher three times during the course of the day and was told they were on their way. I am very disappointed with this service. read more
